It is our second time staying at this place. We just LOVE this place so much. We would definitely come and stay here again if we were to come to Grindelwald. Best apartment ever!!

Great apartment near the main hotel . Breakfast included at the hotel which was a great start to the day . Apartment was very nice , ground floor windows opened onto a large patio overlooking the mountains . Parking easy and free. We did battle with the washing machine!!! May have been us rather than the machines . There was a fly festival in our apartment the week we were there so had to deal with them . Area delightful . So much to do , so many walks and hikes . It’s a decent walk into Grindelwald which is a long way back when you’re tired . Notes that all taxis start their fares at CHF20: we paid CHF25 to get from the station to the apartment . Ouch. Buses are free with your guest card . Hotel staff are lovely . It’s a lovely place

The room was very comfortable and spacious. The staff was very friendly. Great view from our balcony and close to the bus line. The breakfast was incredible with variety including hot items. Highly recommend this place.

The breakfast was awesome but the parking sucked. We had to park down the hill from the room. The WiFi also was bad. We could only get it to work from the kitchenette table. The owner blamed it on our “American phones” and wouldn’t even make an effort to troubleshoot the issue. We were on the bottom of three floors and, despite our three phones and laptop not getting WiFi (except at the table) the owner insisted that no one had ever before complained about poor WiFi. He was rude and insulting and then later explained that is just a cultural thing and we should just ignore it.

The hotel staff was very helpful! They made dinner reservations for us when we checked in, drove us to the building our apartment was in, waited for us to put our thing up, then drove us back to the restaurant. They were even able to book tickets to Jungfraujoch for us. This is an excellent hotel in an excellent location with an excellent staff!

These are sets of 4 apartments in traditional chalet style, 2 with balconies, 2 with patios and with fantastic views onto the mountains. They are set in the grounds of a hotel. The apartment was comfortable, modern and clean. Service was excellent as was the included breakfast and included the best selection of English language TV we have come across. The only thing to watch is that if not using a car it is a steep 10-15 mins walk up from Grindelwald (or 5 mins from the nearest bus stop)

The hotel is situated in a very nice surrounding and the view to the mountains is really unique. The rooms were not really luxurious but they were really cozy and clean. The hotel service was really polite. The breakfast provided allowed for many different options depending on each visitors taste.I would propose the hotel to anyone who would like to spend sometime in the swiss Alps.

There is no doubt that this hotel is in a beautiful setting, with well-kept facilities and chalets that offer a stunning view of the Swiss mountains. Unfortunately the desk staff, although pleasant and well-meaning were often ill-informed about the local town of Grindelwald and gave us considerable amounts of misinformation about closing times, the town indoor poll (excellent and free for hotel guests.)A major problem for guests who need Internet access at the hotel is that, although advertising that free Internet is available, only a limited number of guests at a time can get onto the wireless in the main hotel, and the chalets have no access other than a wireless hotspot on loan from the desk. There were only 2 of these—neither of them worked leaving us stranded for several days without Internet access, (I needed tis badly for work) , and a “shrugged shoulder” attitude of the desk and managerial staff implying “ that’s the way it is.”Perhaps the most egregious aspect of our stay was the way the hotel dealt (or failed to deal) with a glitch in the booking by Expedia. I had originally booked for 6 nights, and changed this well before arrival /cancellation date to 5 nights, notifying both Expedia and the hotel. On our arrival at the hotel, the desk clerk said that there was a notation that the booking had been changed from 6 to 5 nights, and could we confirm this, which we duly did, and which she noted. On checkout after 5 nights we were presented with a bill for 6 nights,

The location is beautiful in the middle of Swiss alps. Its within a reasonable drive to many near by attractions and activities. The staff at the reception and hotel manager. We have a bad encounter with the restaurant manager who was really rude. The breakfast options need to be enhanced in terms of quality and variety. I liked the fresh juices and variety of cheeses. We booked two rooms, one of them was good and the other with a suboptimal furniture and inconvenient organization of the room. The towels were over used.Overall I would still go again and I am sure the manager of the apartments would take the comments into consideration.

This is hotel is set in the most spectacular setting with view of Eiger, we had booked an apartment which is just behind the hotel on a bed and breakfast deal, so went to hotel for breakfast, best breakfast we had in our tour of Europe, the staff are very helpful, they all speak perfect English, only regret is it was a one night stopover, could have stayed much longer
