Staff at reception was friendly, helpful and efficient but they were let down by housekeeping who did not provide a kettle in the room not teaspoons/stirrers though beverages and cups were available.

Close to bars, but very noisy through out the night. Need ear plugs.

Wifi in the room didn't work. In the lobby it was fine. Breakfast was good. The bathroom had a very strange setup and leaked a lot of water onto the floor. Staff was very Pleasant

We arrived late at night, the room that we booked wasnt available. They "upgraded" my husband and I to two twin beds with a dirty bathroom. We didnt feel comfortable showering there and it was so late that we just went to bed. In the morning we woke up to ants on the counter and our toothpastes. Not sure if this is the first time it happened so we didnt make a big deal just let them know. The food was fine and the service was reasonable. For a 1 night stay its fine.

We only booked this place because the tour we were going to go on use this hotel for part of the tour. After checking in, we were so disappointed in the room (the best room according to the hotel owner) We cancelled the tour altogether.
Our room was right at the back to avoid noise from the street. It was a very basic hostel standard room. No safe, no bar fridge to cool our drinks, no mirror at desk to do make-up.
The bathroom has a tub and curtain, the shower hose points everywhere except where you want it to.
The included breakfast was pitiful, mainly salads breads and some stir-fry noodles. On our first morning we had power outage, toast and jam was the only thing we could eat if we chose to but there was no electricity to use the toaster.
For that money, you can get much better rooms out there and we did.

The pictures from booking sites are outdated, unfortunately the rooms don't look the same anymore. The room smelled damp and things were falling apart, but it seemed cleaned. Also, there is no soundproofing, so you can hear both the nightclub next door and anything happening in the corridoors. The breakfast is excellent if you go first thing in the morning at 6:30, but there is nothing left if you go late at 9:30. The beds were OK and the location was excellent, but that's about the extent of positive points.

Friendly and helpful staff at the reception desk. The aircon was a bit too weak (fine for me). Close to all actions and night life. Street Noise could be heard , but it was not significant.

The rooms are not sound proof and you can hear the music next door. Also the rooms are quite run down. The only plus about the hotel is the location.

In the heart of street food and bar scene, so fun for nightlight. Our room was unfortunately musty/ mildew smelling, and next to a night club so were kept awake til 2 am with the loud music on sat and sun nights. Bathroom was very average. Breakfast was fine, and the staff were kind.

2nd time at this hotel. A great location in the old town.

I had stayed at Maison DHanoi Boutique Hotel twice previously in 2015 and found the hotel to be comfortable, good value, and in good location in heart of old quarter. Was very disappointed on my most recent stay due to several factors. The most significant may be slightly outside of hotels control as a nightclub had opened next door since last stay. The bass was thumping so hard that bed was shaking even though was on 4th floor. Music was blasting until 4am on Sat night so did not get a restful sleep. When I mentioned to the desk staff upon checking out they seemed to be dumbfounded and unaware that a nightclub had opened and would disturb guests sleep. I understand that there may not be a lot that hotel can do about situation but guests should be aware that they will not get a good nights rest.Separately the sheets were dirty/stained and the bedsheet also had a whole in it. Even though bathroom had a tub it still drained into the floor of the bathroom essentially flooding the bathroom. Also felt that the quality of the breakfast had decreased since last visit. Granted its free but would recommend for people to step out and get some of the good local street food nearby instead.

Nice clean hotel with comfortable beds and towels. Rooms are very small but I assume tourists to not stay in the room for long. Breakfast is good, not special but adequate with fresh made eggs. I suggest you take a taxi from the airport not the one provided by the hotel. (costs more and in my case it was not there to meet me so I had to call and wait) Also, this hotel has a policy to not let you have the room until check in time, even if the room is empty and ready. They told us we had to pay to get in the room early.

Room Service is not up to the standard. I ordered Coffee during Breakfast and was told that i can get room service only after 10am which is weird.

Perfect location and great complimentary breakfast.
