Kimball Terrace Inn is in a great location looking over the beautiful Northeast Harbor. The staff gave us a friendly welcome, the room was comfortable and clean, the shower had good pressure, and the fridge was convenient. It is less than a 15 minute drive from Jordan Pond and other Acadia National Park attractions. The attached restaurant is also a nice place to eat. We would stay here again.

The grounds were a bonus. A wonderful harbor in the back of the resort which gave it a very nice vibe. A pool and chairs to sit outside and a nice bar and restaurant

Good place for a few days stay. No breakfast but at the adjoined restaurant you can buy breakfast sandwiches. The restaurant has good food. We would stay here again.

Older facility, but very clean with nice rooms.

Great place to stay when going to Acadia National Park. Restaurant next door and on town. Beds ok, but the pillows are aweful.

The property is older, but very well maintained. Rooms are motor court entry, and there is an elevator. No breakfast, but coffee available in the am. There is a gift shop with breakfast bars available for purchase. The rooms are clean, well appointed and have a lovely view of the harbor and pool. The rooms also have a patio. There is an excellent seafood restaurant next door (I think owned by same people); we ate there twice and enjoyed it. Convenient to Acadia and Bar Harbor. It’s not luxurious, but an excellent value. We would definitely stay again. 5 stars if a complimentary continental breakfast offered.

Super motel-type hotel. (Rooms are outside accessible.) Very friendly/helpful staff. Very good restaurant next door. Clean, comfy. Good view of lovely local marina. Very convenient location re NE Harbor and getting to Acadia Nat’l Park.
Wish the double beds had been queen size instead.

We make this trip every year, towing our 18’ boat, and purposely stay at this place for its amenities and location. This year we were able to keep our double length parking spot(s) reserved with cones that management allowed us to borrow. Very convenient location for boaters. The attached restaurant is also very good, but we wished they served a full breakfast instead of grab-n-go sandwiches.

The Hotel is in a nice area of Northeast Harbor. Our room had a view of the harbor which was nice. The room was not anything fancy but it was clean which is more important to us. There is also a restaurant right beside the hotel which was convenient.

Sadly extremely overpriced due to the proximity to Bar Harbor. Being able to price gauge to $250 a night while providing a $45 per night room should be illegal. I was able to hear my next door neighbor snore ALL NIGHT LONG, there is no soundproofing whatsoever! It sounds like your neighbors are IN the room with you. Having 2 people sleep in a full bed, not even a queen should also be illegal. This was such a ripoff!

The staff was kind and courteous and the location of the property was great. However, the walls are paper thin and I could hear guests on both sides of the room. Not sure I’d recommend the stay unless you can sleep through exterior sounds.

Clean was not a problem but the noise was. The walls are not even close to soundproof. Upstairs, they might have had kids. Jumping, banging, stomping walking like it was a track until 12:30 am resumed befor 5:30 am. The next door neighbors would bang on the headboard every 30 minutes between 11 tp around 6 am. Didn’t sleep which is supposed to be the point of a hotel. No vacancy so didn’t go to front desk.

Stayed 2 nights for a visit to Acadia National Park and Bar Harbor. Very nice, small-town location with good selection of restaurants. Clean and comfortable accomodations. Loved the room's balcony, was enjoyable to sit and enjoy the harbor views. Hotel is a short walk to the small town and situated in a residential area.

Nice and quiet surrounding.
Room that I stayed was clean, plenty of space and clean bathroom.
There is one major knock in this property.
I don’t think there is any deafening system or any types of insulation between the rooms.
I’m usually fall a sleep any soon any lay my head on the pillow but if you’re light sleeper and happen to meet a not so kind neighbor you will have a problem.
Other than this issue, personally I enjoyed my stay.

The view of the marina from our front patio was beautiful! Close enough to Bar Harbor, and Arcadia bus tour meeting spot on Main St. but away from the crowds in a serene setting. Very clean room, bathroom, and sheets. The attached restaurant was very good too. Close to town, where we found a great bakery!

There are a few things that I didn’t like about my stay at the property. First of all the mattress were very short and I had to sleep with my feet bulging out. Second,I thought that I’ve ordered 2 queen beds and got to full size bed, which is very tight for two people .Unfortunately I couldn’t get to see on Orbitz my detailed reservation . Third, there was no breakfast available, except ready to eat sandwiches, and the nearest restaurant is a car drive away.

It wasn’t what I thought.

Enjoyed our stay very much. Private balcony, very clean, plenty of parking. Also very convenient having restaurant right next door. Beautiful overlooking marina with the boats & sailboats in the harbor. My husband and I will definitely be back!

Liked the hotel but there was not coffee in rooms or a microwave. Stayed in early September so it was chilly. Thought I ordered a balcony room for the view. Ground floor view not great. It was a clean hotel with comfortable beds and the staff was very friendly

Had a lovely stay here perfect for our trip to Acadia. Staff were friendly and location was convenient. Restaurant was also great. Lobby area was a nice perk with free coffee and cold water each day. Would definitely stay again.

This is a clean motel with good sized rooms within walking distance to everything in Northeast Harbor as well as Acadia hiking trails. Good view of the harbor. Nice pool, but unheated. Attached restaurant serving good food and drinks. Mattresses are on the firm side. Half & half vs powdered creamer would be a good addition to the free coffee in the lobby. Plenty of good coffee and pastry shops just a short walk away though.

Everything was great.

This hotel has been renovated significantly in recent years, however, it is located in one of the most beautiful and wealthy areas of Maine. I expected it to be much better than it was. While it was ok for one night it left me wishing I had made an alternative choice.

A nice quiet place to stay in Northeast Harbor while visiting Acadia without all the crowds and crush of Bar Harbor. The Acadia bus, the Island Explorer, picks up very close by. Our room was spacious, clean, comfortable (excellent mattress) with a balcony overlooking the marina and green spaces. Decent restaurant, The Nor'Easter, right next door. Walkable to town. Don't miss getting your breakfast biscuit at Milk and Honey in town!

Very clean, safe and beautiful area.

Comfy rooms, nice location, restaurant on site, walkable to marina, restaurants and stores, nice pool, easy parking. A nice, quiet stay still close to Acadia and Bar Harbor. We’ll return.

Hotel facility overall was very nice. However, we found the mattress to be very hard. Perhaps it's because we're used to a mattress at home that has built-in topper. The pillows weren't very comfortable either - very firm and they were all the same so we couldn't pick one that was more suitable.
I was going to go for a swim but the water in the outdoor pool was very cold. It must not be heated very much or else the setting is very low.

Like the shower and balcony
