The furniture in the room was laminate wood and there were several areas where to top layer was broken. The mattress was way too soft. There was a plastic chair and ottoman; the arms of the chair was peeling. In addition the toilet was meant for a toddler, so low to the ground. The price difference of that toilet and a standard toilet is not too great, they should be changed. I had two back surgeries to relieve compressed spinal cord; it made it difficult to rise from the toilet.

Nice, clean, comfortable spot right off the PA Turnpike. Stayed there while in transit and it was just what we needed. Breakfast left a little to be desired but otherwise was a great stay.

It was just okay. Beds were comfortable. Room was kind of dingy. Not sure if it was clean or not as it was not brightly lit. Toilet was running when we got there. They fixed it when asked.

I asked at my arrival for handicapped facilities. None was available. What shocked me was that the clerk said they only had one handicapped room. I found the toilet in my regular room seemed lower than most normal toilets. The TV also needs a channel guide and the thermostat did not work.

There was a dead snake under a pillow in one of the beds. Also, our recently remodeled room had damaged furniture and a broken window held together woth tape. This place was so bad we left rather quickly.

The pool is closed for renovations. This was not disclosed when I booked the hotel. Definitely a bummer since I’m traveling with two kids who were excited to swim.

The pool was closed for renovation which was not told to us in advance. That was the reason this property was chosen. The outside windows and air conditioner were covered in our room because of painting the outside walls. The hotel looks old and in need of complete renovation.

Do not stay at the Holiday Inn Express. Walking in the door you were hit in the face by the smell of cigarette smoke. Then when I go to check in the rude front desk person checks me in and says,"Oh by the way our elevator is broke down and your room is on the 3rd floor so you will have to walk up three flights of steps." I was travelling with someone that is handicapped and cannot walk up the three flights. This should have been sent out in an email or called. He did but he would cancel my reservation for free if I had to go else where. That was so kind of him. I went next door to the Hampton Inn. Thank goodness there was an available room. The hotel was clean, did not smell of cigarette smoke, and the clerk was wonderful. Do not stay at the Holiday Inn Express.

The reception was very polite. We arrived late and had a smooth check-in. The elevator was broken, and we had a lot of bags. 1st floor room were taken, so this was the main downside for us. Rooms were clean and comfortable, and the showers hot. I wish they had more than 1 kind of pillow - they are all too soft - but otherwise, our stay was very good. It's a basic hotel breakfast. We liked the pancake machine.

The elevator was broken, and the lobby was under construction, which can happen but they should let you know ahead of time. The bathroom door did not close and the bathroom had a strange smell. The carpet floor in the room was dirty, and there were coffee stains (hopefully it was coffee) all over the AC unit. On the other end, the staff was kind and the sheets seemed clean.

I stayed here as an quick overnight. My room was clean, the hotel was quiet. The elevator smelled like weed...the hallway smelled like weed. The location can't be beat - right off the PA turnpike, but with that comes the airbrake noise of the trucks. Would I stay here again...probably. It was inexpensive & the room was clean, and that's what truly is important. The weed smell was yuck.

The first room had broken bathroom sink legs, lights flickered until the one just turned off, the furniture was falling apart and old. We dropped our stuff off went out and came back to a freezing room after we turned it up to 75. I talked to the front desk and he was very kind switching us without any hesitation! The next room was a lot better, I don’t mind a cheap hotel but the price should reflect the quality of the rooms. It’s a bit overpriced but breakfast was fair with very nice cleaning ladies keeping everything stocked and kept up!

Hotel is under renovation, bedroom was clean and comfortable, beds were comfortable, bathroom was clean however had couple rust spots in the tub . Breakfast was perfect great variety and very good quality.

Reserved a handicap accessible room. Door into room was narrow, set up of room definitely not wheelchair friendly. No soap at the sink to wash hands in bathroom. Navigating between beds impossible. Room 308, don't stay in this room if you have a wheelchair.

There was a cockroach in my room. The bathtub was completely clogged and unusable. Waited 5 hours for tub to be unclogged and no one ever showed up. There was no manager available. I asked to be moved to a different room and was told no other rooms were available. After going back & forth with the front desk attendant and demanding that a manager is contacted, she finally agreed to move me into a different room. Ironically after telling me no other rooms were available, suddenly there was a habitable room for me. Unacceptable! Poor customer service!!! This could have been resolved immediately but instead of accommodating the guest, the guest had to demand a new room and get out of character.

When i asked what the incidental charge was for, the guy explained it really fast so i couldnt hear it. I checked out this morning and still have not received my bill electronically. The entrance is not well marked and comes really fast off the tollway. I actually missed it coming back from the Memorial and got stuck driving 28 miles out and back. The pool was closed for repair. There was like a couple little patches of mold around the tub and a cellar spider on the ceiling. The rubber sheets on the beds or whatever heavy plastic covers they had made me feel dirty although I didnt see any stains (thank goodness). I might have been overtired and overreacting, but i couldnt wait to leave.
