Small but very economical room, great if you are spending the days out and about exploring. Very central location walkable to lots of great restaurants. Parking can be an issue we were lucky enough to get a street park which was free 8pm-8am otherwise the options are their sister hotel or Wilson’s at $35 a night. The wifi unfortunately would not work for any of our devices the entire time we were there.

No parking, old tired. Rooms had been redecorated. No reverse cycle aircon. Noise until early hours of the morning from building at rear.

V. Good. Basic, good size, well priced at $110 per night.

Location is excellent. Units are ok, good value for money considering it’s in the cbd. Units are clean but most of the stuff need repair like some electrical sockets, heater in the Lounge and bathroom. Not a huge deal for us but others might be fussy. Parking isn’t catered for our van, that’s the only caveat but overall good stay and recommended for families.

Great central location. Good value however long check in process. They clearly are strict on a 2 pm checkin but it meant all travellers queuing at 2pm to checkin with only one receptionist. Maybe relax that a bit to make it more efficient.

Was good for budget friendly. Lifts a little dodgy. Beds weren’t the best but all good for price

Room was spacious. Not much sleep was had due to single glazing and very noisy from the nightclub downstairs and hard pillows. Rooms are tired, bathroom door hard to close as ?swollen from water damage.

The initial page did not say anything about paying for parking, hence we assumed the hotel had a carpark for guests included in the price. A few days before check in, we got informed that there was actually a price meaning we had to pay for parking, which went to the tune of nearly 35 dollars a night, a substantial amount. Neither Mercure nor Expedia were willing to accomodate for this significant extra cost which made the stay much more stressful and frustrating.

Very central plenty of eating options close by. Easy walk to Cuba St Courtney Place plenty of public transport. Bus from airport stops very close take Manners Street Wilis Street stop. Staff bright and cheerful I was able to leave my bag until check in time. I was concerned that lift maintenance would be done overnight and my room was close however it did not disturb my sleep. I will stay again.

The reception staff were very friendly and welcoming. The location was good for public transport and a quick walk into the centre of Wellingon CBD.
In need of an upgrade but is realistically priced in its current condition.

Conveniently located with plenty to see and do, near to supermarkets, eateries, transport options. We chose the room with kitchenette which was basic but adequate. The bed was comfortable and the staff were helpful. The negatives were a loud plumbing noise during the first night which must have been a problem in a room near ours. The problem was resolved 2 hours after i told reception. I had to ask for a tea towel but it was provided immediately.

For an older building and only $109 for the night it had everything I needed. Comfy bed, good shower, with friendly/helpful staff.
Lots of homeless within the Wellington central area now, constantly felt like I was looking over my shoulder to see who was following you on the streets.

During the night i woke up around 3am to someone in our hotel using our private bathroom. Turns out the person thought this was their room but theirs was actually on the other side. When we first arrived we checked that the door locks from the outside, and I do remember locking the door before we went to sleep that night, So I have no idea how that person got in the room, but they did.

Right in the middle of Wellington, which meant we didn’t need a car and could walk or catch a bus to everything we needed. Found the staff very friendly and helpful

This property is very tired and in desperate need of refurbishment.
One step up from a back packers/hostel.
Location not ideal with a lot of homeless and unsavoury people.

Friendly, chill staff. Curtain in the room wouldn't close all the way so had a narrow sunbeam in the eyes in the morning. Bed was a bit rough. All round, pretty good.
