Hotel is located in residential neighborhood a short walk from stadt train station. Clean and tidy. Good breakfast and service.

As the name implies, the Central Hotel is situated near the Friedrichshafen City center. It has excellent parking facilities if you chose to travel by car. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I had booked an Economy room and was warned that the rooms size might be a bit of a challenge for a person of my size. It turned that the room was indeed small but sufficiently sized. The bathroom was brandnew, the bed was fine for my size. Breakfast was not included but was offered for an extra charge. It was the classic Continental, filling and of good quality. Room and Hotel are recommended and I certainly consider staying there again next year.

I always stay at the Central Hotel when visiting Friedrichshafen. Feels like coming home - wonderful staff, very clean and excellent service. Highly recommended!

It felt more like a family run guest house. Super attentive service and great staff. Rooms are simple but have everything you need including coffee machine. Free water and soft drinks. Location is close to the city and easy to get to by car or from the train station

I enjoyed may stay at Central Hotel Friedrichshafen. Drinks and snacks was provide free of charge. Location is only 5-week walk from the shore of Lake Constance. I had a single bed room, with "in-room" shower, so it was a bit small, but had a big balcony. Everything was functional and room rates was very fair. Free parking was available.

Conveniently located to the lake. The breakfast staff was absolutely delightful. Parking was easy and I appreciated the water machines to refill water bottles. They also provided drinks and candy.

The central hotel can best be described as 'Functional'. Having stayed in many of the other hotels in Friedrichshafen over the past 25 years this hotel was the most basic which was not reflected in the price. There is no bar & the hotel is unattended after 8pm in the evening. My room was easily the smallest I have ever stayed in a hotel in Germany although the bathroom was a decent sized & up to date. On a positive note the breakfast room & indeed breakfast itself was good & up to scratch.

I preferred the economy room since my business trip was for few nights, so the room was very small as explained, one enough place for dress and a bathroom/toilet. The room was clean when I arrive and cleaned every day. The heating system was appropriate and the room was warm although it was cold outside. The reception staff were very kind and there was a refrigirator containing water, cola and beer that the guests can enjoy without any charge. The location of the hotel was perfect as you can walk to center in 5-10 minutes. The only missing thing in my room was the water boiler for drinking tea or coffee.

Basic Hotel convenient for the center of Friesdrichshafen. Nothing wrong at all...I arrived late and left very early but no complaints at all for what it provided.We close to Lukullum which is a very good German restaurant..

Hotel very good and near to the Bodensee, only a few minuets walk. First visit to Friedrichshafen but will go again and use the Central Hotel. Whilst there had a flight in a Zepplin and a ferry trip to Switzerland. I would highly reccomend Friedrichshafen and the Central Hotel. John

The hotel was in a quiet location and a short drive to the city centre of Friedrichshafen. About 30mins drive to Lindau. The lobby had free drinks for the guests which was a surprise to my friends and I. However, do note that there is no elevator available and there is a flight of stairs to reach the rooms.

I was visiting an exhibition at the Messe and travelled to Friedrichshafen by ferry. I wanted a hotel within walking distance of the harbour for my early morning departure. The hotel was comfortable and very clean and the breakfast was fine.

We booked two rooms the day before check in so we could be staying closer to our conference, and were very happy with everything. We came in late in the evening (around 10:30) but the owner was waiting up for us - something I've found rare in a lot of European hotels - and quickly got us checked in and into our rooms. There was no air conditioning, and though the night was hot the room was well ventilated and we were provided with fans anyway, which cooled down the room considerably. Breakfast was light but great, and the service could not have been better, especially considering the low price. Location is only about a 5 or 10 minute walk from the lake and downtown areas, and 10 minute drive from the Messe and Airport. I'd definitely stay here again.

I travel to Friedrichshaften frequently on business. This hotel was nicely situated but not right in the middle of town.The staff were freindly and helpful and the room size was very good. It was a little expensive but I did travel in high season. I will definately consider it again the next time I travel to this part of Germany. Overall a good experience.

We booked this hotel because it was reasonably priced and had good reviews, however I have to admit when we arrived we were a little unsure as the outside looked a little downbeat especially as they were doing work on some of the rooms.However, we couldn't fault it, the man who checked us in was very friendly. There were small packets of sweets on the bed and free mini chocolate bars and drinks (even beer) in the reception area that you could help yourself too. Extra little touches that are not normal but very much appreciated!

The hotel only provides bed and breakfast, both of which were very good. The general approach to the hotel is a bit confusing as the entrance is up a flight of steps to the back door. There is a front door but this was never used. The location is very convenient, about 15 minutes from the station and about 40 minutes from the harbour. I enjoyed my stay and would go again. Friedrichshafen is a functional town rather than an interesting or exciting one.but it has good rail connections to other, more interesting places
