Great location, close to the beach and the harbour. The hosts are welcoming, friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The breakfast was a perfect start to a day’s exploration.

Great hosts, friendly, helpful and welcoming. Lovely breakfasts. A few quirks with the water but you have to expect these things in such an old lovely building and being so close to everything makes up for it. Will definitely go back

Had a lovely stay. Our hosts were brilliant and attentive. Breakfast is 10/10, beds were the most comfortable we've stayed in and we stay away often. Even saved me with a bottle of hair conditioner when needed some ( I brought 2 shampoos 🙃 ) Only thing bad was the weather and that wasn't their fault. If it wasn't such a nice stay the weekend may just of been ruined.... Thanks again Guys 😘

My mum and I had a really enjoyable stay at the Cavendale Our room overlooked the harbour very relaxing. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Very comfy bed, tea/coffee facilities in our room also a fridge. Extra little touches in the bathroom. Breakfast every morning, great location. Look forward to staying there again.

A lovely place to stay ,most welcoming, great views,a comfortable room/bed with plenty of tea and coffee,but also a mini fridge ,clean and a nice size for a double, full English breakfast was really tasty ,Sam and Richard made us feel most welcome ,local car park within walking distance, can definitely recommend the cavendale!

The owners at the cavandale are absolutely amazing and genuinely lovely people who in a short space of time have worked incredibly hard and was an absolute pleasure to stay with them and meet them and cannot fault staying there in anyway everything was amazing and nothing was to much trouble you really did make our anniversary stay a perfect trip and will definitely becoming back soon thanks again guys Craig and tracy

Perfect location. Owners were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fantastic. There was a good atmosphere in the dining room with the other guests, most of which were returning customers. Would happily come back.

We have had the best time in Weymouth. The apparent we stayed in was clean, breakfast was delicious and the hosts were the loveliest people on the planet. I would very much recommend this place to everyone. Will be coming back for sure.

We had a fantastic stay at the Cavendale. It is in an amazing location right across the road from the beach and within a few minutes walk from the pubs, restaurants and amenities. We had a breath-taking view from our room of the harbour - we sat in the bay window to see the hustle and bustle of Weymouth. The owners are very friendly and welcoming. Our daughter is glutton intolerant and they offered to make her sandwiches every day to take away with us. They also offered to adapt her breakfast and told us of restaurants which offered a glutton-free menu. I would thoroughly recommend staying at the Cavendale. In fact, our stay surpassed our expectations. We needed a relaxing break this year and the owners certainly ensured we got it. Thank you so much.

The Cavendale is a lovely hotel, very comfortable and the owners are very helpful and friendly. The breakfast is amazing and the views are outstanding. Everything has been well thought out and carried through with regards to Covid guidelines and we felt very happy, safe and welcomed when staying here.

Sam and Richard are always very welcoming, we were pleased with the choices for the breakfast bags which are delivered to your room each morning during the current restrictions. The Cavendale has lovely views of the beach to the front and across the harbour to the back of the hotel so it's a lovely location to stay

Hotel is in an excellent location just yards from the beach and the harbor. Our room had a lovely view of the harbor with all the different boats coming in and out. The room was clean but could do with a revamp at some stage. Really clever idea in these C19 times to provide breakfast delivered to your room rather than in a restaurant. Excellent made sandwiches and rolls, with Croissant, Yoghurt and Orange juices. Hosts were very friendly and even provided extra cups and lollipops for the kids. Hotel also provided free parking in the streets around the esplanade area, nice touch. Would recommend this hotel.
