booked room 4 months prior to stay, when i arrived my room was gicen away and i had to pay for the suite eventhugh i didnt get a suit

I had a scary stay, the hairdryer sparked while I was using it and the headboard attached to the wall fell on the bed. Thankfully, I was not in the bed when this happened- I would have injured. The manager is ignoring our calls and emails about the incident. I would never stay at this hotel again - I would worry all night if the headboard was going to fall off. Pool was not clean as well. The continental breakfast was very good though.

Lovely hotel. Front desk was very helpful. Rooms clean. Some reviews indicated the beds were uncomfortable. They are on the “firm” side but then that’s my preference. Many options for breakfast.

Very handy easy location to get to

Very friendly and welcoming staff. The staff were totally awesome. Checkin was super smooth and easy. Nice room, very clean and nice amenities. It was a very quiet spot and conveniently located with ample parking. I appreciated that there are large dispensers of shampoo/conditioner in the shower to cut down on plastic waste.

Great location close to shopping and major roads. Very friendly and helpful desk staff. Housekeeping wasn’t great- hair in shower and a half used bottle of shower gel.

The stay was a mixed bag. Everything was great except for the bed. It was the hardest bed we’ve ever experienced. We didn’t sleep either night we were there. Very disappointed.

We really enjoyed our stay in Seneca at the Hampton. We highly recommend it to others that are thinking about it. Our room was very clean. The beds had several soft pillows on them which we like for sleeping. The dip in the pool was refreshing and clean. You won't be disappointed with choosing this hotel. We chose Seneca because the hotels in Clemson were just too expensive. And it's only like a 10-15 minute car drive to Clemson.

Pet friendly and clean!

I found on the first night that the tub did not drain when showering, which made for a less than desirable experience after traveling all day. I alerted the front desk immediately and was told that someone would be by at 7:45am the next day to take care of it. After 3 follow-ups the next morning, maintenance finally showed up at 11am, which completely ruined my plans for the day as I couldn't start getting ready to leave until then. Follow-ups had to be done at the front desk because the room phone also didn't work. Additionally, the room door was almost impossible to open and required quite a bit of force to get into the room each time. I will never stay at this Hampton again. The customer service sucked!

Clean, easy place to stay when visiting Clemson. Only complaint was running toilet but fixable.

We stayed here night before drop off of my Clemson freshman. We stayed on the 4th floor. Immediately upon opening the door we were hit by an overpowering stench, somewhere between wet dog and rotten hay mixed with stale cigarette smoke. Our eyed watered and we had family members sneezing and coughing. Contacted front desk who came upstairs to check and acknowledged that our room did smell terrible, but not as badly as the room on our floor that had called just previously go our call. She said the other room would just have to “deal with it” but that she would try and get us a new room since we were having an allergic reaction. She then called back to say there were no empty rooms and that she would let management know. We could not switch hotels since everything local was booked due to move-in. Went to walmart to purchase air freshener, but it could not touch the stench. When we returned from the store, several other families on our floor were gathered by the elevators discussing the smell in their rooms. We will definitely look for different accommodations on return trips to the area.
