I travel to Lima a few times a year for work and have found a gem in Lima Wari. Look no further for a convenient Barranco guest house with a friendly, tranquil vibe. Great breakfast, delicious bakery & café on site with unique lunch & dinner options too.

Really cute boutique hotel with standard breakfast, robes, and relatively large rooms. It has a cute cafe area in the front as well.

The staff were prompt, friendly, and accommodating. Elias was very helpful in particular in accommodating my early morning arrival. The hotel is clean and secure, and the breakfast was very good. It is a historical building, so it has a lot of character. It is not the "fanciest" hotel, but it is well managed and excellent value.
The Barranco neighbourhood is probably the best area in Lima to stay. It is the arts district with plenty of local restaurants, pubs, cafes, art galleries, etc.

Great location in Barranco. The staff was super helpful and stored our bags while we traveled to Chachapoyas. Great value for the cost.

I think it is really unprofessional to let someone know after they paid that they will have to switch rooms the next day because the hotel wants to put a group of 4 in the room I'm checking into. Don't shuffle your guests around like dogs, tell them before they book that there will be a room change, and if you cannot complete the booking as it was advertised then you need to refund your customers.

Hotel is in a large spanish building. Beautiful spaceRooms are sparse, but comfortable. NO phone in room. Bathroom and toilet is shared.I ordered taxi transfer from airport to hotel. On arrival to Lima airport, we did not see the driver. Waited for 10 minutes pass time of flight arrival, still no one. Decided to take another taxi. Later, found out the driver was late, but I still have to pay S/. 60 for the ride, which we did not take.Breakfast is just toast (white bread only), butter and jam, bowl of fruit (refreshing), and fruit smoothie (fantastic tasty)

There was constant noise during the day and night; nice decor but did not help with the ongoing noise from traffic, other guests and drunk people passing in the night. Too bad as a cute boutique hotel otherwise

While this is a cute boutique hotel (nicely decorated) in the Barenco district of Lima, it is located on a busy street and there is a lot of noise during the day AND especially at night. The rooms were clean and the staff was somewhat helpful, however I would not recommend it due to the constant traffic noise during the day and loud night party people going by all night. I am pretty tolerant yet even with ear plugs, I could not sleep. Too bad as the location is good and they have done a nice job of the furnishings.

I loved this hotel. Location was great (Barranco is really fun). The hotel is a very attractive conversion from a large old residential home. The service was extremely friendly and attentive. Everything was very clean and secure. I had to leave at 430am for a flight and they even had a simple breakfast waiting for me.

Lima Wari Hotel is in the best area of Barranco, walking distance from everything. The hotel itself is a charming quiet historic house. The staff were so kind and helpful. They helped us arrange our bus trip to our next location and gave us great recommendations of places to visit in Lima. We also received a free upgrade to the family room, which was spacious and clean, and our communal bathroom was spotless. It was by far our favorite hotel in Peru. We couldnt have asked for a better experience!

The hotel was in a beautiful building and the staff were wonderful. The breakfast was confusing as we waited 30 minutes before being told we had to call down to place an order. The shared bathrooms werent very clean but the bedroom was spacious. It was a good location for a walking tour of Barranco.

Lima is a VERY big city. This hotel is located in an area not far from tourism. Very difficult to get around even when you have someone that knows the language.

Barranco is an awesome place to stay if you are in Lima. Its safe and has many beautiful buildings. Wari suites had excellent service and nice rooms but their showers were pretty cold.

Reception, especially Johanna, was excellent. My friend's luggage was lost on the flight over, and Johanna called frequently to ensure that the luggage would arrive in time for our next segment of travel. The location felt secure. Inside, there's a filtered water dispenser, a common area with TV and movies, which we didn't use, and a pleasant dining area for breakfast. Breakfast included scrambled eggs and 3 pieces of toast with jam and butter. There's a toaster available on the side. Coffee was weak. I went down the street a few blocks to the Panetteria to get better coffee. There is a fantastic Venequelan arepas place a block or two away as well. And a town square a little further down which is hopping on the weekends, with live events and outdoor food stalls selling anticuchos, aji de gallina, and other Peruvian dishes. These seemed to be more frequented by Peruvians than tourists and were awesome.

Really cute hotel located in a convenient part of Barranco. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Room was clean and comfortable. Great value for the money. One thing I will say is that if noise is a big problem for you, bear in mind that the walls are pretty thin.

This place is a nice hotel/hostel in the heart of barranco. Close to the square, only 25 mins walk to miraflores. Large rooms, hot showers, simple yet tasty breakfast. Had a lovely few days here, Johana at reception couldnt be more helpful and friendly.

Overall ok, but had a frustrating experience while trying to have an additional guest in the room; even though there was a bed for her. Also, the "king bed" is two single beds attached very poorly together. While you may find this elsewhere in the world, I would not have booked this had I known that. It's extremely uncomfortable sharing a bed that has a crack down the middle. For what they charge, LOOK ELSEWHERE! You cannot get refunded, either, and they asked us for payment when we checked in rather than at checkout. We would have left after one night but they wouldn't give us a penny back.

You can't go wrong with this hotel. It is clean, comfortable, safe, and the staff is amazing. The rooms were amazing and the building used to be an old colonial home - it was beautiful with courtyards and double height ceilings. It is located in Barranco - my favorite neighborhood in Lima.

This was a cool place to stay at location wise. Its in an area that most would not stay in, very local, less money area. Which made it more fun. Cool local markets, taking the "convoys" everywhere, street food, and the bus to miraflores.
Cons: the room smelled a little weird (not that big of an issue), no AC which can be unconfortable due to Lima's humidity.

We stayed for three nights in a room with ensuite bathroom. The late-19th century colonial architecture of the boutique hostel is beautiful ... inside and out. The room was good-sized with mini fridge and safety security box, . The hostel staff were all attentive, helpful and very friendly. Location is good ... a few blocks away from Barranco's town square. Wifi connection was good, breakfast was okay.
The only thing we didn't really like was that the ensuite bathroom was quite small.
Overall, this is a highly recommended accommodation in the Barranco/Miraflores area.
