Beautiful view!

Checkin in was mildly difficult, in the email it was stated the office hours were until a certain time and when we got there the office was actually closed. So we had to call about three numbers to get ahold of someone and check in over the phone. Also the hot tub had “hours of operation” and the window, in my opinion, was pretty tight. Overall it was okay, the room and amenities were as stated.

So beautiful. Comfortable. Hot tub was amazing.
We had a wonderful time

This property was so unique! It was exactly as advertised, except the pictures do not do it justice. We were on the waterfront, with that whole end of the room being windows and the door opening out onto a large patio. With our travel schedule we were only able to stay one night. I would love to visit again and spend much more time here.

This property is spectacular! We were in wolf den and loved every second of it. View was absolutely unbelievable from just right outside your room. The room was nice and clean with large bathroom and very comfortable bed! Full side refrigerator and sink. Property has nice hot tub and an awesome fire pit for public use. Highly recommend!

Just a great place and a phenomenal view

I have stayed here several times for solo work trips and brought my husband along with me this time around. Everything was just as perfect as always and he was as blown away with the accommodations as I was the first time I stayed. We stayed in Bear Den and it could not have been more quiet, serene and comfortable. And the views are spectacular! Especially enjoyed grilling out a couple of nights to break up the cycle of eating out when traveling. Can't recommend this place enough!

I look forward to work trips to Homer in large part due to the fact that I get to stay at Kenai Peninsula Suites. For someone who travels a lot, this place is a little slice of heaven away from home. So clean, comfortable and quiet!

I stayed just one night in the Eagle's Nest, but even though my stay was very short, this managed to feel like home and I was sad to leave. Not everything is luxurious: the kitchen is pretty basic, the shower was only so-so, but boy was this place comfortable. At first I thought the bed was too soft. I was wrong. It was crazy comfortable. The cabin was fresh and spacious and inviting. And, of course, the views from the large deck. Wow. I guess one could nitpick and point out that the property is oriented away from the jawdropping Kachemak Bay and toward the merely stunningly beautiful Cook Inlet -- but it was all so serene. Loved the hot tub too and it's worth walking around the grounds to catch all the angles. Check in and check out were a breeze. Just really loved every second of my less than 24 hours here. Hope to return.

This is an interesting property. First, the Pros - The property sits on a high bluff overlooking Cook Inlet. We stayed in the Eagle's Nest above the office; which was cozy and had a nice deck to look out over the inlet. We asked for and received a couple more firm pillows. There is a communal hot tub, and a large fire pit; neither were used by us. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Now, the Cons - The suite we stayed in was fairly close to the highway, so there was a lot of traffic noise. Our room was located up a long flight of stairs; so trudging our heavy suitcases up and down them was not desirable and no help was offerred by the staff. My wife and I are elderly, so..... The cooking facilities are limited to an outdoor grill with a side burner and a microwave, and only a skillet and a sauce pot. We did manage to cook up a meal of the fresh halibut that we caught; but don't plan for any major efforts of "many pan meals". There's plenty of rustic charm here, but I can't say it was the best choice of venue for us.

unique rooms; really spacious; fantastic views; quiet; private; lovely; relaxing; super balcony

A little pricey but quiet and convenient to town. Beautiful view of Kachemak Bay.
Bears Den and Wolves Den require the use of a lengthy spiral staircase so it's not advised for folks with mobility issues.
Concrete floors are cold and blackout curtains aren't available on some windows so that could be an issue during the long days.

What a gem! Had a lovely stay at the Kenai Peninsula Suites - Otter Cabin! It was cozy & had everything you need. Bed was also super comfy. The view is hard to beat! I only had one night....wished I had longer!
Parking right next to the cabin which was nice. Heavy blinds that block the sun - big plus! Thanks for a great stay!

We stayed in the spacious Eagle's Nest room which offered amazing views of the mountains, the bay, and "The Spit" in Homer. We enjoyed a camp fire and then a soak in the hot tub in the evening. It's a beautiful property, and the property owners are attentive and accommodating.
