My stay at the Arctic Light Hotel was overall very nice. The room was nice, although it was down from the ground level which meant without the blackout drapes shut anyone walking by on the street could see right in the room. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean, although at 6’ I barely fit under the rainfall shower. My one main gripe was the noise coming into my room from other rooms. Whoever was in the room next to mine seemed to be constantly screaming and I could hear it clear as day through the vent. There was no phone in the room so I had to go up to reception to tell them about it. It was good for a one night stay but bring earplugs.

We had a great stay here. We booked a room with a sauna in it which was nice to be able to enjoy at the end of the night. The restaurant at the hotel was so great- we ate dinner there and then the included breakfast was tasty. I would definitely stay here again!

Didn’t take the room upgrade because it didn’t have twin beds. VIP benefit not offered. Otherwise hotel was great. Breakfast good. Arctic Restaurant good excellent but service lacking

Mark assisted me with restaurant recommendations, helped arrange local activities, and even ensured that my transportation needs were seamlessly taken care of. An incredible experience, Aug 26th, great staff, great ambience, food was par excellence — ROOMS were great AC, it was 0ver 60 Fahrenheit — And the Sauna in the room, what a delight - even for an American. The Interior architecture is SUPERB! It belongs in the top notch of hotels !

Very conveniently located to restaurants although food at hotel restaurant was excellent. Stayed on top floor and room had skylights to view Northern Lights. Mark at front desk was very helpful and informative. Tub was a little hard to get into due to being very deep. Elderly people might have hard time getting into and out of but I enjoyed my visit. Breakfast had many choices and was delicious. Would stay at this hotel if I return to Rovaniemi.

We had a great time at the Arctic Light Hotel. Mark (with a K) was great and provided us with a room upgrade and a VIP discount for the dining option. The rooms are very nice at this hotel, with very interesting and unique decoration. The restaurant is top notch, with excellent choices and service. The breakfast buffet is amazing - beautiful and many options. Our favorite hotel in Rovaniemi!

This hotel is a lovely place to stay at. Cozy sitting areas to have a glass of wine before retiring for the night. Helpful front desk staff. The parking lot is small, behind the hotel, but there is one. The breakfast is a dream, so much to choose from. My room and bathroom were clean and well supplied with needed products. I highly recommend this hotel.

Definitely; The place to stay! Always feel welcomed, both me and the dogs are treated the very best way. Even got a glass of sparkling wine-ticket - checking in. And the breakfast...no words to describe it. I love you

It was my very first time booking with Expedia and also visiting Finland . The transaction were smooth . I must say the breakfast at the hotel was amazing highly recommend the mushrooms and potatoes and pancakes . My friend and I came down 5min before breakfast hours ended and the chef had no issue whipping us up a hot meal , Clean comfortable room/ beds ; only thing I wished the room had a microwave as the portions at the nearby restaurants are pretty large and we would often retire with a takeaway box . Apart from that I highly recommend Arctic Light Hotel

We arrived at the hotel on the bus directly from the train station and thought we'd be dropping our luggage and finding things to do until check-in time. Much to our surprise our room was ready and we were able to check in and get cleaned up before roaming around Rovaniemi and making it to our late lunch reservation in the town center. I sent the hotel a note a few days before arrival to reserve the sauna (we did not have one in our room) for both evenings and they were signed us up immediately. Highly recommend making sure you have a sauna experience the night before your departure, at least! We had dinner in the hotel restaurant one night-excellent service and food, be sure to make reservations. The included hotel breakfast was excellent.

Incredible service from start to end. Friendly staff and attentive front desk. They helped us warm up food for kids when needed and provided excellent choice of vegetarian restaurants for us to try. To top it off they made a personalised birthday message for me which showed just how great a place it is

Arctic Light Hotel is a nice hotel with excellent service and comfortable rooms. It was mostly clean (though there was no hand sanitizer at the buffet breakfast). Some of the design choices of the hotel were style over substance. For example, the lighting panel near the bed gave many options for room lighting, but none of them involved turning on just one lamp by one bedside, meaning if you need a light during the night you must disturb your partner. There are a few other examples, but no need to detail them here. The breakfast is good, but not that impressive compared to some other, more affordable, Finnish hotels.

Lovely staff. The breakfast was so nice. The location is perfect for access to downtown restaurants. Comfy beds and really nice hot rain shower. We really enjoyed our stay!
