I like everything l, except for the shower. They stopped the water and turned in back on, on their on time. I didn't like that.
Otherwise everything was wonderful.

I will not go back.
The food is good even though you don't have a lot of options but it's alright. There's plenty of vegetation which is great and the place is pretty quiet.
The room was ok (my main issue being with the sink).
The staff is not the most welcoming nor the friendliest but they'll listen to you, i guess that's great.
As for my experience: BAD. I was not warned that during the night there would be no AC. Almost suffocated in the middle of the night. The ceiling fan was not working either and they did not think to check this detail before giving me the room. I had to open the windows and surprise, surprise was attacked by mosquitoes.
If you're the type that searches best value for money I would definitely not recommend. You can just spend 20-25 dollars more to get a much satisfying stay in some, not too far, other places. You can even pay a bit less to have a better room elsewhere if outdoor spaces are not very important to you.
If you're not that type of person, then give it a try. Maybe your experience will be better than mine or not. Either ways, I wish you good luck.

The hotel is nice and clean. It nestled in a tropical forest setting. The staff is friendly and the food is good. Great place for one on one business meetings. Removed from the hustle and bustle of the city. we love this place.

I like the atmosphere & the location! I didn’t like the facts the air conditioner was leaking over the bed, told the front desk the same night I got in, and the next morning.it took them 24 hours later to change my room, after I kept complaining to them, also they’re only one tower in the room, I advise them as well. They respond to me was their in the laundry. Didn’t get a new tower till a day later! Not good. Price of the food & drinks are too expensive, it’s ridiculous!

Great location. Clean and spacious rooms. However, price for food and drinks at the hotel are extremely pricey. $4 dollars for a local Prestige and $22 for a fish, when all great local restaurants in PetionVille have the same food for a fraction of this price, that's painful

For the past few years I've been stayed at La Reserve Haiti my experience there is always a family atmosphere, from management to staff the relationship between Miss Pascal thePDG of the Hotel with their employees is exceptional. I will always recommend this peace of paradise to anyone who've plan to visit Haiti, it is so quiet and tranquil, the food is excellent and is located right in heart of Petionville. !!

I really like the place. It's little vintage looking and quite charming. I like the trees in the yard. Nice and friendly staff.

The La Reserve was a beautiful stay while in Petionville, Haiti. I cannot say enough about the staff and their attentiveness, meticulousness, and overall hospitality to make sure I had a wonderful stay. The property grounds are beautiful. While I stayed in an older room, that was renovated with modern amenities, I would request a room in the main building. Overall the room was very clean, but did have an older smell. The one drawback is they do not have a hotel shuttle for transportation to and from the airport, which I was told they are currently working on and hope to have in the coming months. I strongly recommend the stay and look forward to staying there again!!!

I almost get electrocuted when I tried to shave with my electric razor, the outlet is not gfi safe. For some reasons its like the power voltage is to high for an electric razor. The food is good but way over priced, $10 for a rum punch and $12 for a small Cesar salad was outrageous. Breakfast was very good but not typical/authentic.

The Hotel is well located for me. Internet was giving me problems but they gave me a better room where it worked better at the end.

The hotel is ok but they need to upgrade the rooms to make them more attractive and comfortable. I like where the hotel is located and the environment. I like the scenery with all the plants that are around and make it very cool. I like the entertainment that they have every Tuesday. Overall the Hotel is ok but it needs improvement.

Nice place to stay but there is a little difficult the access during rush hours.

The staff was excellent and the meals were well prepared and delicious. Morning breakfast was sufficient and fresh. I love the setting nice and quint for a beautiful get away. I am planing to go back again soon and looking forward to it. The only dislike was the way the shower is built, water was everywhere after taking a shower, but everything was excellent. My wife love the poison gro cell. Looking forward for December for a two week stay. EXCELLENT

Quiet hotel. Front desk staff helped to print boarding pass and see few other items. Breakfast has a limited range of items - eggs made to order, cereal, cold milk, pineapple, papaya, carrot cake, toast, coffee, tea and one juice. Tasty, but would prefer a bit more variety. Enjoyed the view of trees around my room!

First room wifi, tv, and phone didnt work. So they moved me to another room, but the water and a/c stopped working. I had to call to get them back on. Plus I tripped on a paver and sliced open my toe. They had great breakfast included, but it was definitely not worth the price. Cute hotel and nice location, but too many issues. I would not stay there again.

Very pleasant place, nice room, helpful staff, but some details should be worked on to make it excellent.

I have stayed several times at La Reserve, I like its openness and gardens, also conveniently located in Petionville. Areas of improvement: bad smell coming from the bathrooms; the first morning practically no water to shower - the other days it was OK; and when you pay at the restaurant the waiters keep any coin change, it should be up to me to give a tip or not. Having said that, I will return to La Reserve for future trips.
