Very convenient. We can park the car just outside of our room. Staff was so-so. Room was tidy and clean. A shame that they don’t provide shower gel.

The rooms were very well appointed, the motel included all expected amenities, and the staff were very friendly. The location was outstanding, including ample parking, and a kid's playground.

Rooms and property were very clean; it's obvious the owners take a lot of pride in their lodgings. Right near center of town and beach, everything within walking distance. Will definitely go back whenever I return to the area!

On my arrival late in the day it was wonderful to enter a warm and cosy studio. After whale watching in the very cold conditions at Cape Woolamai in the afternoon I was happily surprised the heating was already on. The King Studio was comfortable, well equipped, clean, quiet and conveniently located only 400m stroll from the Cowes shopping strip.

Unfortunately, the room was opposite a BBQ area, which a large family took over for the day and evening, There was a lot of noise, late into the night. The room purported to have a kitchenette, but this consisted of a fridge and a microwave, so not really adequate.

Due to the thin walls or construction type, there is noise transmission between the walls. We bothered by noise people talking at night. And we woke up in the morning with noise from the viecles departing. There was old and poor facilities in the furnishings of the guest room and the shared facilities. During our stay, there were many vacant rooms. But if there were many guests, we will have to wait to use the deckchairs in poolside, and the BBQ facilities.

Great little motel in Cowes. We wanted to stay on the island to watch the penguins and it worked wonderfully. We walked into town for a drink in the afternoon. It wasn’t a lot of bustle but it was close. It was clean and well maintained

Extremely clean motel with a 5 minute walk to downtown Cowes. Friendly staff. Heated pool, kids play area, park in front of your room. You would be hard pressed to find another gem like this.

Comfortable bed, great shower, friendly owner, easy parking, and it takes less than ten minutes to walk to the Cowes main strip. The only fail was that my room was equipped with The World’s Most Uncomfortable Chairs - narrow rattan stacking chairs, designed for cafes that don’t want you to linger - problem solved by putting a pillow on top to sit on.
