Stayed at Motel Stawell for the Stawell Bluesfest. Nice little motel, friendly staff. Very clean, close to everything, comfy bed and good shower pressure. Only downside is the noise from the road, especially from big trucks. Take earplugs!

We booked in for an overnight stay on our way through. We were concerned when we heard trucks thundering past, but as it turns out they didn't bother us overnight. The room was clean and functional, and the bed was comfortable, which is most of what mattered to us. The one thing that could have been improved was the light in the bathroom.

In such hot weather the stuff didn’t check the air conditioning properly before we check in. Can’t sleep well all night in such hot room with no air conditioning. 38 degrees outside .

Room wasn’t properly cleaned. Carpet was dusty. Wifi wasn’t working. And bedding was very old and was turning yellow.

The room was super clean and comfortable, check in was easy. This motel is located on a main road so the noise from passing trucks is very loud. The gardens and outdoor area are neglected and unusable. Inconvenient location if you do not have your own transport. But...this was the cheapest place in town.

On the main highway between Adelaide and Melbourne. A bit of traffic noise. Although there was no apparent need for trucks to use exhaust brakes ( uphill slope on approach into town) some cowboys seemed to enjoy waking everybody. Not motels fault but nevertheless annoying.

I chose to pay on arrival however was told on check in that my card had been charged that morning. Lots of road noise, we were in room 2, so not a lot of sleep. Room was ckean and tidy, bathroom was very nice and spacious.
