We enjoyed our visit at the historic Inn. We loved that they have a lot of original character of the building. But we would have loved to see more pictures and paintings on the walls and more character in the room. Water pressure wasn't the best in the sink but the shower was good. Room was clean. And coffee was good. The check in process was easy and was private without lines and home like feel. We would definitely come back. Thank you for everything!

Great place!! I look forward to coming back back and staying here again

Unusual style building with high ceilings. Each room was named on the door - we stayed in ‘prosecution’. Little seating room for breakfast, more ‘grab & go’.

Great place. Older but clean. It was a town hall building turned into a Inn. Big room bed was comfortable. Restaurants and shopping walkable. Quaint little continental breakfast. Felt very safe. No elevator.

Great historical building, sqeaky floorboards included. It was loud at night if you have a room at the front. Black out curtains would be helpful as the room was very bright at night. Breakfast was very basic.

Fantastic enormous room (Mayor’s room), which was beautiful and very cheap. I didn’t see any staff as the checkin is via a number code - I wasn’t sent the code but someone let me in the door and another guest with the same trouble called the owner; they advised that the rooms are left open pre-checkin with info sheets so we could just go on in.

Historic building made into a hotel. Our room was huge! Breakfast was nice with a communal table, we chatted with fellow guests.

Basic room but a lot of history. Kind staff, nice area.

It was fun to stay in the former town hall. Our room was spacious. Breakfast was minimal but worked fine. It would be nice if there was water and ice available. Sue was friendly and helpful. It was good to have designated parking spaces out back.

My son and i tood a roadtrip and Deadwood and Lead were our 1st stop. We loved this old, historic inn! So clean, comfortable bed, quiet, and beautifully decorated. We stayed on 2nd floor in the "Judges Chambers" and it had a nice kitchenette. Window AC worked well, and there was a fan as well. Super high ceiling and huge windows that overlooked the main street. Easy check in process with door codes texted to us before we arrived. Nice size bathroom. Will definitely stay here again! Staircase is LONG so if you can't do steps, choose a room on main floor.

The Town Hall was a very unique place to stay. Very nostalgic looking! Everything was neat and clean. The host was very accommodating! I like that there was no room key. There was just a code you used to get in your room and to get in the building. It was just a perfect place to stay!

Only one entrance into the inn. Second day the continental breakfast was skimpy. No house keeping service but place was clean and had plenty of towels

Amazing, our room had an old safe in it. Host was fantastic

This property is wonderful. The history is in tact with necessary updates for modern convenience. Next door there is an amazing restaurant which made it very convenient. We found parking but it's limited. A couple of small nitpicky suggestions. An alarm clock with extra charging ports would be good. There were some beautiful wall sconses that we couldn't figure out how to turn on. Lol overall, I would 💯 recommend this hotel.

If I could rate this place higher than a 5/5, I would! Sue, the inn-keeper, went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. We stayed here twice within a week, the first was for 2 nights and the second for 3. She made sure all of our needs were met. She kindly let us check in early and was so warm and welcoming. Both of the rooms we had stayed in had kitchenettes with everything we needed and more! The light continental breakfast was also a plus! It made our stay in Lead very pleasant, and I will definitely stay here again!

Well, the coffee was not all that good, some donuts and danish for breakfast would of been nice. Some milk and cereal would of been nice. Would of been nice to not have to wait until 7 for my 6 o'clock coffee would have been great. Otherwise i loved it.
