This is my second stay here. I absolutely love it, and look forward to staying here again. The restaurant downstairs is excellent as well. The staff is very friendly!

I absolutely love this gem of a hotel in The Hague. The owner, Anna is very friendly and helpful. The restaurant below the hotel is great! I’ll be staying there again in a few days, and I look forward to it!

It’s a steep walk-up, so beware! There’s also only a front desk part of the time. The building is very cute though.

This is a really lovely gem of a hotel located in a beautiful square in the heart of the Hague. The only reason I would not give 5 stars for staff and service is because there is hardly ever anyone at the front desk and the stairs are very steep. I would not recommend the hotel if one is not in tip top shape to lug bags up the steepest staircase (I know this is a common enough experience in the Netherlands, but this particular set of stairs struck us as really challenging. The hotel restaurant is incredible, the food is delicious and the staff very professional. A wonderful hotel and beautiful property.

This was an amazing little hotel. The emerald room is spacious and beautiful. The high ceilings feel very luxurious. The bathroom is also very nice and the owner is friendly and nice. We had dinner at the tapas restaurant right below and the food was amazing! We really enjoyed our stay here.

The hotel is in an excellent location and very well appointed and designed. High quality furnishing and bathroom fittings made for a pleasurable couple of days. The food in the Bistro on the ground floor is to a high standard and highly recommended for breakfast. As with all older dutch properties, if you are not good with stairs this might not suit you. Overall it is a great place in a great place!

Such beautiful up to date rooms with sustainable elements. There was real attention to detail in the way we were hosted, including knowing that guests would have takeaways during this time so leaving dining equipment in the room.
I cannot remember the ladies name but she was so lovely and offered us lots of help and local recommendations and was available on what's app if we needed anything.
It also overlooked a super cute little square.
Definitely recommend this place (:

Stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. I had elected to pay at the hotel. On arriving home I found that the hotel had charged me twice for my stay. I received no response from the hotel to my emails pointing out their error and only when I got hotels.com involved was a refund forthcoming. No contact from the hotel. No apology. NOT impressed.Needless to say I will not be staying at this hotel again.

The room was decorated in every detail, the owner was extremely kind and helpful, the service was excellent, the breakfast marvellous - and the view from the table at the window, overlooking Paulowna place, was calming and interesting at the same time! We sincerely recommend this nice Boutique hotel to you! Regina

Great little hotel on a traditional European square (circle, actually). I would not order with breakfast unless you are vegan. We stayed in the Chocolate Suite. Spacious and very, very clean. Great helpful staff. No lift, but the staff gets all your bags to your rooms and the stairs add to the adventure. Located close to the 1 Tram which can get you all over. We loved our time in Den Haag and this hotel was a main reason why.

Small family run hotel near various museums. Has a good vegetarian restaurant. Quiet room, comfortable bed and walk in shower. Keep in mind there is no elevator. Folks running the hotel are hospitable and happy to engage in conversation if you want to learn more about Den Haag.

We had a great stay at the Pawlona! The owner was always available, they made as feel very at home. The room is big, with a seating area, great windows and very comfortable for a stay of 4 people. I highly recommend it if you are looking for something that feels unique.

It is a very lovely hotel, great location and great stuff. But it is a boutique hotel, if you are on top two floors, it is not an easy stairs, some might think it adds to charm :) my only bad review; you do leave on top of an Indian kitchen.

This was a beautiful hotel with an amazing family running it. Friendly and helpful service. Rooms are beautiful and comfortable and the restaurant downstairs is a definite must during your stay. The location on the quaintest square with 4 restaurants and very old buildings makes the evening very enjoyable to sit and watch the people as you enjoy a meal. The hosts offered information on transportation, tourist sites and suggestions. It was always lovely speaking with them.

Small hotel, so able to offer personalized service and accomodate special needs.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Was able to check in early even though did notify beforehand.
Charmingly arranged, spotlessly clean room with modern sanitary equipment.
Convenient location with tramline nearby. City center also reachable on foot (ca. 1km).
Quiet neighborhood, with a number of restaurants nearby, including the hotel´s own where I enjoyed sitting out front looking across the peaceful Paulowna Square.
Enjoyed the stay and am likely to return. Thank You!

This hotel was an unexpected delight. Situated in an old merchants house in a tiny jewel of a square close to the centre of The Hague, it is a wonderful place for a weekend visit. The owners are charming and so helpful. The room was delightful, quirky, spotlessly clean and full of individual personal touches which made our weekend special. We were there for Valentines Day and a card and two red roses surprised and delighted us! There is an excellent restaurant serving fresh organic food at lunch and dinner as well as a first class breakfast menu with yoghurt, muesli and fresh fruit as well as eggs, croissants etc.
