A great experience. The hotel is a gorgeous medieval building right on the main square. Our room was huge and nicely furnished. Free parking available 5 minutes walk away. The location means it was noisy at night, and there is no air conditioning, but that comes with the age and location. Nice staff, good breakfast, and an exquisite location in a jewel of a town.

Fantastic location, great apartments, ideal location, very nice breakfast, and great staff. Parking was offsite, but easy to get to and the hotel will send a shuttle to get you right away. Thank you!

Overall it’s a nice place with great staff. Wifi not very good in the room. Apart from that, nothing else wrong. Would definitely stay here again if I ever come back to the area.

We were given a luxury apartment that had a view of the castle and were also given a ride to the train station. The bar served us and another couple even when they were probably supposed to be closed. Awesome experience

The location of the hotel and the rooms are good but unfortunately, the service is quite terrible. Since cars without a permit cannot enter the pedestrian zone where this hotel is located, the hotel sent a car to pick us up from their parking lot. Unfortunately, the driver was quite rude and obviously did not want to do his job. Upon checking out of the hotel, we asked the hotel to drop us off at the parking lot again so our pre-arranged driver can take us to our next destination. The hotel said they can arrange the transport in 15 minutes if we paid a parking fee. When we refused to pay the fee since our pre-arranged driver was only pick us up near the lot rather than parking inside the lot, the hotel said they could only provide transport if we waited 60 minutes. When we asked to speak to the hotel manager, the staff at reception said that was not possible. I recommend you spend your money at a different hotel where you can get some respect.

we stayed at the adjacent rental apartment (not at the main hotel) and it was AMAZING! very nice place, wish we had stayed for a few more days

One of the front desk staff is really rude and make mistake on room arrangement without apology (actually I was blamed for no reason!) Luckily, another one is quite helpful on the day of leaving
Room is quite spacious but old fashioned, which is compatible with this old but beautiful town
Situated in middle of the town, very convenient to everywhere
Shower pressure can be low when more people accommodate in the hotel

Spacious character room with period furniture overlooking central square where most activities took place. Hotel could not have been better situated for festival celebrations. Amenities first class with friendly and helpful staff.

We had a wonderful stay in a charming town. We were given a super apartment.

The hotel location is fantastic, in the middle of the square. Our room (which was clean) was upgraded, which was great. Had an amazing stay overall!

The hotel is located at the main square so it is convenient to walk to anywhere. But Cesky Krumlov is very small town so the advantage of this location would not be so highly appreciated. The cleaness of the room is not very high. I found some hairs on the bed. Otherwise the breakfast is good. The service at the frontdesk is very good. The WIFI in the room is not good. The received signal was way too low.

I booked the luxury suit. It was so beautiful but unfortunately there was no AC. The weather in summer is so hot.

The receptionist in the daytime was ok. But the night receptionist did not answer the phone , and was talking to her boyfriend the entire night. Our room was loud, cold, next to a loud bar, and we could hear the dogs bark all night long. The bed was awful. This was worth $40 top. I paid 106 euros.. I wish i picked another place to stay

The hotel room was comfortable and quaint. The rest of the hotel smelled a bit stuffy and could use a facelift. The large-bus-groups staying in the hotel (and in the city at large) made for a lot of noise and resulted in hot water being in short supply at peak times. The management did get our noisy neighbors to quiet down one night when we complained. I suspect that this is the scenario in most older "quaint" hotels in the town center due to the bus loads of summer tourists dominating the scene in July. Given that the management was responsive, the convenient location and that we enjoyed our quaint room...it was a fine overall experience.

Fantastic place. Great location. Parking a little walk away, but there is no parking in the core anyways.

Was a little noisy being in the square since there is no air conditioning and we had the Windows open to keep cooler. But had a nice breakfast that was included

My family of 5 stayed here for one night and wished we would have stayed many more!! We had two rooms, a double and a triple. Would definitely recommend! One room was much louder than the other due to bar noise below, so ask for a quiet one if that would bother you. This is an excellent hotel. The only bad thing was our GPS went crazy trying to find the hotel and we got a little lost, because driving to the city center is pretty much not an option. We happened to find the parking lot on our own, so we parked and walked in to the hotel. That being said, just contact them ahead of time for exact instructions as they do offer a shuttle service. Also, the hotel does not have any elevators, so be prepared for stairs (a lot!) depending on your room. The breakfast room is also located up stairs. The food was very good. Our rooms were HUGE for American or European standards. The hotel has two restaurants and a couple bars attached to it. We ate at one restaurant and spent a very enjoyable evening trying different drinks in the bar area, which got very crowded. The location is fantastic - We could literally walk out the front door of the hotel and be in the main historic city square, which happened to still have the Christmas market going on. We strolled the city, walked up the hill to the castle and found many lovely shops and cafes in this city. We LOVED Cesky Krumlov and I would rate this as one of the best hotels we've ever stayed. Definitely stay here!

Excellent location right in the Market Square. When we first checked in, we had an attic room assigned to us. The bed was made and the towels were new on the bed, but there were a couple of things in the bathroom that indicated that this room was not entirely cleaned after use. For example, there was a shower gel bottle cap that was on the bathroom floor in the corner, and then there was also a small piece of garbage in the bathroom bin. Also, the toilette did not have the paper ribbon confirming that it had been sanitized. The next morning, we spoke to the hotel staff, and we were promptly reassigned to a freshly cleaned room that was much nicer than the attic room we had. Between the new room assignment and all the helpful staff working at the hotel, we had a very comfortable and enjoyable time.

Nice hotel on main square but surprised that this is top rated hotel in Cesky Krelov. While it was fine for one or two nights, it was more a Best Western type experience and we were expecting better. Perhaps our misperceptions from reviews. But stat and location both excellent.
