Our host Toni was wamr and friendly. The hotel is very well located. You can park there and it's a short and easy walk into the town centre. The hotel is very nicely furnished, with comfortable beds and a spacious bathroom. There was even some carrot cake in our room to welcome us! Excellent breakfast, too. We will definitely be coming back.

Breakfast was delicious. Tony’s suggestions were helpful. With Tony’s help, parking was easy enough. We mistook Henrietta Street for Henrietta Road and ended up at the wrong place, but Tony quickly straightened us out when we called him, and he directed us further down the street until it turned into the Road and met us out front. We did not need our car at all in Bath because we could walk wherever we wanted to go from here. Chestnuts House and our hosts were truly a delight.

Everything about the property was excellent. It's in a quiet convenient location and just a short walk into the centre. We received a very warm and friendly welcome from Tony and his staff. The house is immaculate throughout. Our room was tastefully decorated, very comfortable with everything you could need. Our breakfast was excellent with plenty to choose from, cooked perfectly and tasted delicious! Tony has a really good knowledge of the area and gave us great ideas of things to do and see. Our stay was perfect and we can't thank Tony and his staff enough. We will definitely return in the future and thoroughly recommend Chestnuts.

Chestnuts was almost certainly the best B&B we have ever stayed in. Every detail was covered unpretentiously without fuss. Breakfasts were excellent. The fine weather, despite dire forecasts simply added to a very enjoyable stay.

This is a special B&B. Extremely well organised and little touches you would expect in a 5* hotel. Dressing gowns provided,well stocked drinks tray, sweet treats replaced every day. The breakfast choice was amazing with nothing too much trouble for Tony the owner. Limited parking available and close to the city sights make this a perfect place for a visit to Bath

Immaculately clean, spacious room. Breakfasts were incredible. 10 min walk into the centre of Bath, 15-20 min walk to the train/bus station. In a beautiful part of a beautiful city.

Great location, fabulous and helpful host, comfortable and beautifully put together rooms, nice bathrooms with loads of amenities, excellent breakfast. Highly recommended. My only complaint would be the rather ineffective hairdryer provided. But no complaints are warranted as this is an exceptional place to stay.

The chestnuts is in a fantastic location, it takes 10 minutes to walk into the centre and being able to park on site is a big bonus, our hosts were very helpful and friendly, the room was very clean and up to date, forget the fancy hotels in the centre unless your after the whole spa experience, this is a little gem and the breakfast is amazing

Wonderful stay, very friendly and helpful. Situated in a really good location. Once parked up we didn’t use the car until it was time to leave. Facilities were clean and comfortable. Air-con in the room was a godsend as temperatures outside were in the 30’s. There was a fridge in the room too which was extremely useful. Would definitely stay again.

Lovely room for our trip to bath, check was efficient and advice and maps for local area were well received! Breakfast was perfect! Milk and water in the room with a good selection of teas and coffees were a lovely touch, even had some biscuits!

We really enjoyed our 2 night stay although the bed was a little too soft for our liking in room 2. Touches like the mini fridge i the room, tea/ coffee and great toiletries in the bathroom would all appreciated. Our hosts were very accommodating and helpful. Breakfast was tasty and of a high quality. The Chestnuts felt very safe from a COVID point of view. Well placed for a 10 minute walk into town. Would happily stay again.
