Very clean rooms

Check in was easy. The owner and wife were very nice. It was well lit at night and felt safe. I was very impressed with the room! It was spacious and very clean. It was bright - it had 3 lamps and an overhead light. Also had a small fridge and microwave. The heater worked well, kept my room nice and cozy. The bed was comfortable. It had a coffee maker, but it came with only 1 package of coffee, 2 creamers, and 3 splendas. That definitely could have been better. Some sugar would have been nice; not everyone is on a diet. There were 2 very large mirrors. There was a bathtub! Yes, a real bathtub! It's impossible to find hotels with bathtubs anymore. They were not generous in bathroom supplies: 1 small bar of soap and 1 packet of "conditioning shampoo". And the towels were terrible! Thin, small, and scratchy. I will stay here again, but I will bring my own supplies and towels. It is those that keeps me from giving it 4 stars.

Room very clean, bathroom was clean and modern . Bed s were a little stiff. Sleep was great both night s. Quiet roadway going by . TV came on slow on channels then was fine.

Just needed a cheaper and convenient place to stay while in town visiting family. Fit our needs. Outdated, but this was expected. Wasn't able to contact them by phone directly, before making and commiting to the reservation. That was the only downfall.

Large room with lots of space. Room was outdated and in need of upgrading, however it felt comfortable.

It is exactly whatcyou pay for..no frills no thrills. Quiet..walking distant to gas stations and a nice park across the street. Could upgrade the towels and, soap and toilet paper. I'd stay again. Carpets need cleaned, ruined all of our sox.

Great location, clean rooms, comfortable beds, friendly staff. Easy check-in and check-out. I like staying here when I'm in the area.

Brochure said "recently updated". When--1980? One light on headboard side non-working. Showerhead didn't work. And had sign for service on the door. Nada for linen change. Complementary soap bar was hard as a rock, and poor lather. Only reason I stayed here was proximity to weekend destination.

For a non-national chain, family owned Motel, I was very pleased- very clean, very neat. Room would compete very well with the Holiday Inn Express in town, at half the price - no breakfast, but for the 75.00 saved, can get a nice breakfast in town.

It was very plain .. nothing special for 85$ , it was more like a motel 6... 35-50 $ max for a night ..

Clean, well-maintained, very quiet heating unit in room, friendly person at front desk.

Older motel but it is well maintained and our room was updated. Room was clean. Pillows aren't the best so was glad I had brought my own. We'll be back in the area next year and we would stay here again.

Nice people

The Property looks to be a typical 1970ish Motel. The rooms, or at least the one I stayed in, had been recently renovated. My room had new paint, lights, carpet and Heating / cooling unit. Very clean. Convenient to shopping and dining. This will be my "go to" accommodations when I visit the Hasting, MI area.

Cute little place to stay, reasonable price

The hotel is in need of being updated. Smelled "old". Quite disappointed after reading the online reviews, seeing the rating numbers, especially compared to the "big name" hotels.I was disappointed.

I slept well, there were people hanging out in the parking lot, but the A/C drowned out the noise. I had everything I needed for a night's sleep away from home. It is a small town, so close to anything I needed.

Room was large and parking was available right out front of the room. Room was kept clean. The staff was polite and seemed to have owners onsite.

Gross! Terrible smell. Brown stained ceiling tiles, rusted grid. Everything in the place was way beyond its useful life. Shower was gross. Thread bare towels n linens with stains on them. Found a couple of hairs on the sheets. Did I mention the smell?.

Nothing fancy but clean and comfortable. Odd smell that seemed like it might have been a cleaning product.

This is an older property with squeaky wooden floors under the carpet. Everything worked; it’s just not new and not the same as all the other places I have stayed.

This time stayed for only one night. Have relatives in the area and have stayed here before. Has all the conveniences that you need: frig, microwave, coffee maker, TV, Wi-Fi, hair dryer, desk, table. Always clean. Very reasonably priced and good service.

Fast check in clean quite and very friendly

This is my second time staying there. First time very unpleasant. Was reluctant to this time but it was enjoyable. Staff was very friendly and not so rude.

The room smelled heavily of Febreeze and the sheets had a synthetic residue that smelled like strawberry bubble gum that transferred to my clothes and skin. I had to turn heat up in my room when I left to help air out everything. The smell was strong and made me uncomfortable.
