Not the best not the worst. Close to everything in town.

Excellent friendly staff

The guy at the front counter was ridiculously nice and the room was just what we needed for a cheap peninsula getaway. Some people in the reviews were saying things like "it's outdated" and "you get what you pay for" but honestly I've paid way more for way worse. There was working AC and the bed didn't leave me aching in the morning, which motel beds always do! Thanks for a peaceful and convenient place to stay.

This place is a dump. Windows broken, bedding stained, air conditioner cover gone, carpet is gross… just the last vacancy in town.

Young man at front desk very nice at checkin … but was no where to be found when we needed to tell him NO soap, TV not working, NO hot water, dresser drawer broken. Definitely NOT worth the price! $49 a night would have been overpaying!

Building dated and other than flat screen TV there haven’t been any notable upgrades since about the 1970s. Patched holes in doors, key locks with keys, cracked ceilings and walls, drain cover missing from shower, not counters in bathroom, broken outlets.
What the place lacked in upkeep was balanced by helpful owner/staff.

The conditions were terrible! Very overpriced for what we got. Extremely small room, bathroom in terrible condition. Had to ask for clean pillowcases and wash cloths. Towels were so thin you could see through them. I really don’t know why hotels.com would even advertise a place like this!

The hotel got certain age and would benefit a refresher. Rooms and building exteriors. The service from the staff was ok. The breakfast would need improvement. Also the cost is high compared to similar taking in considerations mentioned above

The building and room are old but the beds and everything else are clean. No thing is fancy but you can stay overnight with the reasonable price.

Place needs major repairs. I would not recommend to anyone.

Staff was friendly! Building was pretty run down and a bit dirty on the inside. No big complaints. Was as to be expected.

No good

Pros: Young man at office friendly, helpful.
Cons: Filthy, bugs in bathroom, holes in walls, bedspread stained, carpet worn through and so dirty feet were black after walking barefoot, no table, one very old and stained chair.

Disgusting, the ceiling was crumbling, the bathroom was so worn there’s no way it was clean, the tv didn’t work, damp carpet, crackheads dealing across the street. The only thing good was super clean bedding. We only needed to sleep and move on thank goodness.
2.0
Used towels, no lightbulbs in the lamp fixtures, no hot or water pressure, hard beds, sliver of a soap bar
2.0
There was blood in the comforter, lamp broken, curtain rod broken out of wall. Had a very strong odor.

Everything bad.

Not feel safety to sleep.

Shabby, noisy, smelly, rundown.
Unlike my neighbours I didn't have bugs in the bed but still there was an uneasy feeling throughout my stay.

This property is a sad excuse for a motel, I cannot believe these people can rent these rooms that people are living in full-time with a straight face. There are holes everywhere in the walls, the front door didn’t even fully open because the second mattress was blocking it, the ceiling had some tape on it that was supposed to hold it together and it was falling down. A giant box screwed shut in the room that was just scary looking, tv didn’t work well, shower didn’t drain and was filthy. The area is a drug activity heavy trafficked place and lots of sketchy people coming and going all night.

Upon arrival they did not have a room clean and ready even though we tried to check in almost 2 hours after check in time. Also the room we were assigned, the door wouldnt lock with the key. A maintenance man had to come change out the locks. Didnt feel safe

Fridge didn’t work, ac was half broken, no soap bar in bathroom just a 1oz bottle

We run a high-ranking VRBO in our city. We needed a vacation of our own, and rooms were scarce in Port Angeles. We settled on Holiday Lodge for $187 per night. (It was not worth the price of admission.) The lobby had a funny smell and was very hot. The clerk was kind. Their key opened the lock, but you had to force the door open because it got stuck in the frame. The odor in the room was pungent. It was akin to a wet dog needing a bath. Running the jerry-rigged air conditioning unit all night was required to mitigate the stench. The lamps had dirt inside the shade. I suspect mold, but I do not know for sure. There was sheetrock around the room that had not yet been vacuumed. Fixtures were pulling out of the wall and others were filthy. Attempts to patch the wall were abysmal. The plumbing was broken, and the toilet hissed throughout the night. Fortunately, the bathroom door that was difficult to open kept the noise down to a minimum while the air conditioner ran concurrently. It had a fridge smaller than a college dorm, but it made a terrific stand for the microwave. There was dried paint on our sheets and must have been used as a drop cloth at some time in the motel's history. The door had no security deadbolt, but it had a chain. Unfortunately, the chain did not fit, so you could not use it, but alas, not to worry, any intruder would have a difficult time sneaking in, because the door would be stuck. Finally, although they boast of providing breakfast, they don't!

Absolute garbage. Would be poor at $29.99/night but at the prices charged it is just insanely bad. Mold everywhere, nothing works, missing bed coverings, ceiling looks like it is going to fall down due to water damage, all the furnishings inside look like it was grabbed for free off the side of the road.

Beyond rundown

No desk or table. No bedside table or plugs anywhere near the bed. No hangers in the closet, which is ok I guess since there was no hanger rod in the closet anyway. Bathroom was disgusting. No toilet roll holder and no extra toilet paper. At best this is a $50 room. Certainly not the $188USD that i paid. Only reason I stayed here was it was all that was available on almost no notice. DO NOT stay here if you can help it.

I reserved three rooms, but one of the rooms, number 216, didn't have hot water. I informed the staff about the issue once, but it wasn't resolved. We couldn't use the shower.

Terrible hotel with no cleanliness and felt highly unsafe.

Stuff comming out of the sink, no one emptied the trash once and we were staying for 4 nights, no refridgerator or microwave in our room, the door was not locking properly, the bed sheets we're dirty

Highway outside was pretty noisy; didn't get a good night's sleep really. but, not much you can do about that given the location.

People were loitering next to my room.

Very good budget lodging. No coffee maker in the room, but coffee available at the front desk. Room was comfortable, and parking was easy.

it was very dirty, the rooms where not very clean

My family and a friend's family both rented a room here together..
Our room basically had no blankets just sheets and a very thin small blanket that sat on top they DIDNT keep us warm, our friend's room had a big comforter on 1 bed and a big soft fuzzy blaket on the other.
There was NO trash bins ANYWHERE in our room or on site the premises that we seen.
Shower curtain would not stay up and when it fell it came apart into 4 or more pieces.
We also only got 1 towel, 1 wash rag, and the towel rug.. no option to get more after office hours.
Carpet needs replaced or at least GOOD cleaning, it felt sticky and gross.
No room temperature control..

The bedding had burn holes in every single layer (bottom sheet, top sheet, blanket) and there was crumbs and gunk all over the floor. 2 pillows were flat as a piece of paper. The pictures make it look decent but we got there and I was afraid to leave the car 😂 in a sketchy neighborhood, cars peeling out every hour. Just… don’t go here

Friendly, low cost option in Port Angeles. The first room they offered smelled musty, but they gladly changed rooms to a cozier one

Friendly checkin, slept all right, very disappointed the bathroom shower had not been cleaned- hadn’t noticed til morning when I wanted to take mine- after my disappointment - too tired to look at when I checked in. I won’t make this mistake again.

It’s an excellent bargain but you get what you pay for. It’s a good location for Port Angeles, Olympic National Park, and Indian Casinos.

Always a very chill, and pleasant stay.
