Our stay was wonderful. We came into town for my grandmothers funeral, we were a little confused as check in is contactless, but we met Rosa and communicated via text and it was easy sailing after that. They did inform me of contactless check in, it just slipped my mind with all going on.
The property was great, loved spending one morning with the cows and later with the two pups on site. Really loved that the animals were rescues. Our room was small, but cozy, plenty of other rooms to relax in or play cards.
But the heart of this Inn lies with Rhonda, who took very good care of us during our stay. She was so empathetic and warm and welcoming and helped ease the burden of what could have been a very stressful trip back. It was a healing expierence, and ill never forget that, and I thank her and everyone else there.
I hope to visit and stay again sometime.

Built in 1786, has a lot of history which we like. Was easy to check in and out. Rhonda was helpful . Was a good stay.

The restaurant/bar on the premises was EXCELLENT, and allowed us to visit the country and have the freedom to have a drink and shoot some pool. A great place, with incredibly friendly owners.

We arrived after dark, finding Nick, the proprietor, on the property. He seemed very nice, showing us to our room, who he said was an upgrade from the Rebecca, we had reserved, probably because we were staying for four nights and he was not booked. From here on things went downhill. At daylight, instead of finding a charming Country Inn, things were in disarray. Don't expect cozy common rooms as displayed on the photographs. We did never see a staff person affiliated with the Inn and our bed was not made once. Besides, the mattress was lousy, there was no TV, which was not a big deal, since we had our laptop and the WIFI was good. It would have been nice to have some other amenties like water glasses, wash clothes and some tissues. Our room had a free standing bathtub with a showercurtain wrapping around the entire tub. Being both octogenerian, for safety reasons, we did not take showers there.
The Inn may have been a wonderful destination in the beautiful Beshires years ago, but we were very disappointed to say the least. The owners are running a popular music venue in a barn on the property, which seems to be much more lucritive, consequently more attention is paid to that business. Had we not prepaid, we would have left early.
We have travelled the world and don't write reviews often, but felt we needed to let travellers know to skip this one!.

Loved the Vibe.. Fireplace, rescued animals, music, food, billiards- Just great people!

Will never stay here again, and would not recommend it to anyone due to an uncomfortable room, lack of hospitality, lack of food, and terrible value for the price.
The inn isn’t very comfortable. We stayed in one of the basement rooms, which was cold and noisy. We heard people walking around above us, loud music from the venue, and a freaking rooster crowing all day. There were no amenities, such as a TV or mini-fridge. The bed (which was labeled as a king on Hotels.com but was actually a queen) dipped in the center so badly that I spent the whole night trying not to roll into my husband—which is pretty unacceptable at a hotel.
Food was very misleading. They have breakfast, which you pay for separately, but not as many options as I saw online; after viewing the sparse menu, with almost no vegetables, we chose to go elsewhere. It claims to have a dinner restaurant on site, which is total crap—what they have is a music venue. We tried to eat dinner there, and they wanted to charge $25 per person just to enter, before ordering food! So essentially, there’s no real food onsite. And the water fountain was empty the whole time.
I never saw a staff person while we were there (aside from the woman selling coffee); not a welcoming vibe at all. The inn shares a parking lot with the music venue, with no parking dedicated to the inn, so parking is a challenge when there’s a show.
Overall, we were uncomfortable and annoyed the entire time. We couldn’t wait to leave!

A very special place! Nick is wonderful with the right balance of being available but giving you space. The rooms are very clean, but it’s an old house; nearly 300 years old, so there will be creaks and normal settling for a home that age. There is no tv; I bring my laptop, but also enjoy the solitude. The Barn is open Wednesday through Sunday and provides a small menu, full bar and entertainment. The food was good; the service was excellent and the locals are very friendly. Probably my favorite part of the property is the rescue farm. I love waking up and visiting with the animals or coming back after a day’s adventures to see all these sweet animals. Nearly all are rescued from horrible situations and live happily with each other. It’s really the icing on an already sweet place. Also very convenient to Great Barrington, NY, and CT area towns. This is definitely a wonderful place to unwind and explore.

I loved how unique of a place it was. The farm, the barn music venue, and all the interesting books and items around the house. It's too bad they are having such a hard time finding staff. The coffee was great in the cafe and I would have loved to eat there.

There were a few maintenance issues that we were made aware of upon our arrival that involved rectifying a mold issue. Also, even though they advertised nightly entertainment at the Barn, the venue was closed for a private party. It would have been great to know both of these things before booking.

Inn is in good location and we appreciated the on-site cafe (but for price would have liked more coffee options besides drip included with stay) and nearby live music. However, we did not see an inn staff person at the front desk all weekend. Check-in: keys were left out for us which we appreciated as we arrived just before front desk hours ended, but that option was not communicated to us (no one answered phone) so we rushed unnecessarily to arrive in the check in window. Room: Benjamin Room was under a part of the house that was very noisy - heavy footfalls, pipes, creaking floorboards, things being dragged (and more thundering footfalls) from before 7 am throughout the day until near midnight. Hand soap in room was very low when we arrived and with no one at front desk we were unsure how to replenish:( Disappointing for the price.

Lovely inn with a great vibe. There is a restaurant/cafe on the premises and a music venue with drinks and food. Both were fun with friendly staff, but our room was still very private and there were no issues with noise. Also dog friendly, which was a big plus. We arrived late and they left us directions for our room and it couldn't have been easier. This is not a fancy place, but if you're looking for clean, convenient and friendly I highly recommend.

Not what you would expect from a New England B&B. Very little warmth and charm.
Room was clean and quiet but very basic. House is tired and in need of updating. Inn staff were absent most of the time.
Cafe on site is charming and bustling in the morning, but breakfast is not included.

Peaceful country inn. Great coffee shop and barn on-site serving good food and drinks. Live music in the evenings (we stayed Thursday to Sunday). Room was spacious and clean - could use a refresh and would have been nice to have more than one chair (especially when we were snowed in on the Saturday!). Overall an enjoyable stay

Great stay at your Inn. We utilized the common room adjacent to our Room #2. Nice small fridge was helpful. New Years Eve at the Barn was great. We were here for a funeral and this lifted our spirits.

Good 2 night stay. Did not spend a lot of time there other than to sleep and shower. Worked for us on our trip.

The property was constructed in 1796 I believe but whoever designed the interiors of the rooms had a marvelous eye for the modern aesthetic. Our room was wonderful. The bathrooms are small, not much room for your kit. But the bed was so comfortable. Very sad, the owner's mom had recently passed away. I think she had a hand in creating this little treasure. Thank you.

No TV in the room. If this is important to you beware! Inn is otherwise lovely with goats and chickens out the back, a veggie garden and a large lawn to walk on. Onsite cafe only opens Wed-Sun as does the onsite restaurant.
The Inn is located about 10 minutes from Great Barrington. Not much within walking distance so make sure to bring your own supplies

The Inn itself was very cozy and quaint. The rooms don’t have TV’s which was nice because it allowed us to focus our time on reading or doing a puzzle to relax in the evenings or mornings. I think it would be nice for them to expand the puzzles/board games they have as there one only a game of scrabble and one 1000 piece puzzle.
The room was clean and there was contactless check in so the key was in our door when we arrived.
Unfortunately we didn’t see a staff member, except someone who worked at the cafe one morning. We stayed for two nights. No one outlined the check out process so we just left the key in the open door as we received the room.
It said breakfast was included but due to lack of staff sightings we planned to go out to breakfast each morning. The barn hours posted on the website weren’t accurate and neither was the menu.
Despite not seeing staff, in the welcome letter there was two names and numbers of people to contact if needed but we didn’t opt to call them.
Location was central- which was great. It was only about 15-20 minutes to a few local surrounding towns like Stockbridge, sheffield and bash bish falls which was awesome.
I had a coworker stay there a couple years ago and she was the one who recommended I stay there. From talking with her it seems like she had a very different stay when she was there. While the inn was cute, I don’t believe I would choose to stay there again.

The AC in the room was noisy and hard to regulate.
The Breakfasts were delicious
The staff were very helpful and friendly
They were preparing to add a coffee shop so there were construction materials around - that will be a nice addition
Because of COVID, it was difficult to find dining options near the Inn - Most nearby nice dining options are closed Mon-Wed

As seasoned B&B travelers, we would not recommend staying here. We left hungry after our “breakfast” each morning, which consisted of a small plate of scrambled eggs the first morning. This was after being asked if we would also like toast and fruit. The second morning, we shared a plate, and it was better, but the coffee was empty with no one around to refill it. Basically, we found ourselves purchasing coffee and food off the property in which we had already paid. The owner was very inattentive throughout our entire stay. In addition, the house is old and lovely, but not updated with central air. I would not recommend staying here at all in the summer months as it was quite uncomfortable.

Charming, friendly, comfortable. Good breakfast.

Room was as expected - clean and comfortable. The floorboards creaked loudly enough to wake the dead but it IS a very old house and I quickly figured out how to navigate the room. Breakfast was not as expected - the food was very good but service was a bit disappointing. Scheduled for 8-10, it got a late start 2 out of 3 mornings I was there - after 830. Coffee ran out quickly and fresh coffee was not made even after being requested. Ran out of orange juice the first morning and staff seemed surprised when I expected it to be stocked by the second morning. Previous reviews mentioned an attention to detail, but this was not my experience.

Lovely old inn in Egremont. Only possible complaint would be the service at the continental breakfast but then who ever heard of waiters at a continental breakfast! The breakfast was delicious, rooms excellent and clean, refreshing not to have a tv, phone or clock (at least in my particular room), the inn keepers were very accommodating, really...no complaints here.

I would highly advise against staying here in the winter. Our experience was accidentally walking into someone’s home and not having use of the amenities advertised on Expedia because the entire main house is closed . We stayed in a detached building that was excessively noisy at all hours of the evening and morning.

Charming historic inn. We stayed in a spacious room. Bed very comfortable. Bathroom a bit dated. The restaurant next door in the garden was a fun place to hang. The village is cute. I loved riding my bike. Had interesting talk with owner.

The property owners were welcoming and accommodating especially with having our dog there. The location was perfect between the berkshires and hudson valley. Having a bar and live music on the property was a nice bonus. Missed a little bit of the bed and breakfast feel because of covid but that is not their fault. A little too many spiders in the room for this city girl.Overall would recommend to anyone.

I was there for a lovely weekend to enjoy the arts of the Berkshires. The Inn is very welcoming. My room was quite lovely, quiet. The breakfasts are yummy, full and varied, the grounds are lovely. If you come towards the end of the week the barn offers food, drink and music. I would definitely stay again if I were in the Lenox/ Stockbridge area.

The innkeeper is attentive and gracious, offering many good suggestions of places to explore nearby. Breakfasts are delicious and healthy, with lots of fresh fruit, veggies and herbs, and homemade pastry. There are 3 cozy areas to sit for TV, reading, games, pool table. The building is old and while the sense of history is lovely it needs refreshing, decluttering, and (in the case of our bathroom) some basic upgrading.

Everything was wonderful. The staff, particularly Melissa and Jason were delightful and on top of everything. Breakfast each day was different and the cookies/blondies each evening were a treat. Accommodations had everything we needed and were very comfortable. Beautiful facility overall.
