It's a very good hostel

PRO: Although there was only one person who was able to speak English fluently, the staff was very friendly and welcoming. They did housekeeping of my room 1 of the 3 nights there, so that was great.
Room has a fan that will keep you cool enough. The share area has a bunch of local recommendations you can rely on.
CON: Ok bathroom and shower.
It's barely a breakfast - I would not rely on it. Milk, juice and some cereal-looking thing.
Bed had fleas or bed bugs.... got bitten all over my legs... very uncomfortable there.
Wifi was slow at best - not connecting most of the time.

Stayed in a shared dorm room and there were many options for the bunk beds. I had a queen sized bed to myself. The place has a funny multi levelled lay out but it is in line with the interesting place. Great location to musume and shops.

We stayed here for 6 nights in the end. It is very well situated in Guadalajara with the Central Historico and other attractions nearby. Some reviews have said that the street feels unsafe but we didnt feel that. The double room was good with a comfy bed and hot water in the shower (most of the time). Reception staff were helpful with suggestions and called us a cab to the airport. It said there was free breakfast but we didnt witness this happening and no one mentioned it on check in, we didnt ask as we were happy eating the incredible local food. It also says that there is housekeeping daily but our room only got cleaned once.It didnt really feel like a backpacker place as no one seemed very sociable and on the last night the place was full of children who arrived at 10pm, were super loud until after 11 and then again from 6am!We were happy with everything overall, particularly as it was such a good price. If you are a budget traveler looking for somewhere to rest your head whilst enjoying the splendour of Guadalajara i wouldnt hesitate to recommend.

Let me start by saying I've traveled a lot and been in many hostels before, so I know that a hostel isn't supposed to be super clean or comfortable. Given that, this was one of the worst, if not the worst experience in a hostel. There was usually no one in reception, the bathrooms and common areas were dirty and a mess, the bed was super uncomfortable ( I could feel all the springs ). If there happened to be someone in reception, they weren't very helpful or knowledgeable. They say they provide breakfast, but they really don't ( only the first day there was a tiny bowl with cereal and some milk, juice).
Positives: they allowed me to check in at 7 am when I arrived, internet is relatively good, and there is hot water for shower ( although the water doesn't go down the drain creating a big puddle).
Overall disappointed with this experience.

We had a good stay here. Brilliant location near the old bus station and centre of town and a good price. All the beds are also double beds. This being said the floor was always dirty (I had to give up washing my feet) and the kitchen was a bit of a tip with dirty dishes everywhere. It took us a few days to figure out who worked in the hostel as often no one was around so it made it hard to ask for tips although they do have information on the walls. One day a guy arrived, we let him in and tried to find someone to check him in, no luck. Went out for dinner and 3 hours later he was still waiting so I tried to find someone and finally he had a bed. Another problem we had was after 2 days in a room the manager kindly asked us to move as a 'family' was coming and needed a private room. He was nice so we obliged even though packing and unpacking was a pig. We were not angry or bitter about this until two things happened... 1. Another lady who worked there very abruptly told us to move our stuff now and just had an awful manner about her, she should not be working with people at all and 2. When this so called 'family' turned up it happened to just be 2 sets of backpackers??? Don't know what happened there but they should really sort their organisational skills out so that they don't have to move guests around.
Overall however we did have a good enough stay here for the price we paid just don't expect much - the breakfast is also not worth mentioning.
