Management sucks. Staff members suck the whole place is nasty. I wouldn’t recommend that place to nobody and they all very rude They all Indian.

It was convenient location for my visit, they say u get what u pay for but no price is worth this place. AC/heat not working refrigerator never turned on leaking drain from bathroom sink

The motel is hard to find it sits down in a hole. There is motel 6 that shares the same hole and the sign for that os much bigger .

The “no-smoking” rooms reeked of cigarette smoke. Our 2nd room was slightly better than the first. Smoke saturated the pillows. Sheets were stained. Never again!

The Red Carpet Inn is a comfortable, if not spotless, motel. The staff is very attentive and friendly and the location is very close to New Brunswick and Edison. The property is, howei, dated and it shows.

The front desk was rude and unhelpful when asking questions. There was no coffee in the morning. Very loud and room unkempt. It was nonsmoking and there were burn holes in the shower curtain.

You are right near Route 1 North. You can do laundry there but to me it looked like a tight spot also the ice machine is in the same place. Nice size room for a single person. The floors are hardwood and the furniture is wood made. A flat screen tv, and a refridgerator in the room. Good for a short stay. A couple of vending machines there.

We had a burnt out light and slightly noisy heating system, plus the non-smoking room smelled of smoke, though the cleaning staff did their best to rid the room of the stale smoke smell. The burnt out light was dealt with promptly, as was the request for an iron.

Bullet holes in the glass window of the original office were upsetting. AC didn’t work. Room was damp and smelled strange. Men were hanging out near my room drinking, knocking on doors (including mine) and talking loudly until the wee hours of the morning.

My first room had no light in the bathroom. I tried to call the desk to get maintenance to change the bulb, but the phone didn't work either. I called on my cell and the clerk said that she knew about the problem, but she didn't want me to wait for another room to be cleaned. There was no maintenance person so I would have to change rooms. All of this after I dragged my luggage from the car. I found a watch under the dresser (not mine) that housekeeping didn't see. I checked out a day early and was told since I prepaid with Expedia, I was out of luck. I couldn't spend one more night there. I've been in nicer motels that rent by the hour. NEVER AGAIN!

This hotel is just the right thing if you are looking for an overnight stay. There were no bangs and whistles to it. Just a bed, TV and a regular bathroom. Great place if you just want a place to shower and sleep. There was also a refrigerator that woke me up a few times while I was trying to sleep.

The staff was friendly, but the rooms were disgusting. It smelled like cigarettes. I even had to wash my bag when I got home because it smelled so bad. The blanket was thin and one pillow was dirty. It was so disgusting.

Sheets were dirty with hair all over bed and when asked to change rooms, they gave me clean sheets instead.

Not worth the price. The bathroom door did not close. Nothing was provided--no breakfast; not even coffee in the rooms. Much too high a price for the simple accommodations.
