We stayed for 2 nights here, when we checked in the lovely receptionist upgraded our room and also brought a portable heater for our room as it was snowing so very cold. Would definitely stay here again.

Kitchenette in room was very useful. Location is great. Was a little hard to cool off the room, probably nice and warm in the winter.

Our King bedroom had a kitchen with everything needed to dine in, and a door to close off the kitchen from the sleeping room. The motel is in the center of the town of June Lake within a very short distance from restaurants and only a couple blocks from Gull Lake marina. We enjoyed our 3 night stay here and hope to return again. Our room was clean, and comfortable,

Everything was just as it should be, fortunately, because I never actually saw or talked to anyone in the office. It was always closed, but my room key was ready and waiting when I arrived, clipped to the doorway, and I was able to leave the key in the little wooden box when I left. The room was clean and well appointed. Very cool kitchenette for people who want to cook and eat in. We didn't, but that's OK.

Was not aware how steep the grade was to marina or certain restaurants. The room was clean and quiet, but did not know that there was a visitors center nearby or how far the lake beach was from motel. Did not like waiting until 3 pm to check-in ... It was inconvenient, even though I was warned by letter that I needed to be out by 10 am. Everyone thought I was lying about the check in time. This was humiliating.

We had a blast in June Lake. Thank you!

The ceiling fan and microwave did not work. They had technician try to fix but couldn’t. They offered a table fan. I told them I was ok without the fan and microwave but was letting them know for the next rental. They were diligent in trying to fix. The room overall was great.

Really great stay! Adorable, clean, old-style hotel with a full kitchen and coffee maker. Easy walk to June Lake Brewing, grocery market and The Tiger Bar. View of the mountains from kitchen and bathroom. We would definitely stay here again.

There was a small glitch with the type of room reserved, but Kimberly took care of the situation immediately and we had a very pleasant stay.

Nice option

I stayed one night for a quick ski jaunt at June Mountain. Location was ideal (next door to general store and easy stroll to dining options), room clean and quiet, and I especially liked the fact that the property supplied a real coffee maker, cups and utensils, as opposed to the weird pod things so many places are using these days.

The wall unit heater didn’t function properly; the attendant brought us a portable heater

Location is great on the main street where it's walking distance to the general store and restaurants.
Quiet, clean room on the 2nd floor.
Had a kitchen and breakfast table which was great for cooking, eating, and staring out of the window in the morning. Though the view was just of the neighborhood, the trees and mountains were nice.
Beds and pillows were comfortable. TV had various channels.
The sofas, toilet and sink counter were all lower than usual which is perfect if you're a child but that was fine.
However, it was hard to get a hold of anyone as there was no one in the office when we checked in/out.
They need to write on their check-in sheet what the check out instructions are as we had to guess to drop our key in a "Key" box but it was unattended...

Very nice staff, but less parking space.

Perfect location in central June Lake, walkable to everything. Nice staff and clean, comfortable room. Will definitely stay again!

A well kept clean place in a nice small community. The room is clean, bed is nice. DirecTV only worked about half time time. Weirdly the kitchen / bathroom lights are on motion sensors ONLY, so if someone gets up in the middle of the night the lights come on BRIGHTLY, waking others in the room up. Such a strange choice - the one thing that sorta ruins an otherwise awesome place.

For a two-star hotel it was a lot better than what I expected... a lot of these reviews that are talking negative act like they're out of five star hotel. I had a great stay.

Nice kitchen, shower. Toliet needs fixing. Clean, but bed spreads needed washing. Very friendly owner. Too expensive for the value, off season 95.00 way too much. She was very nice let us in early. Old and rustic, no air conditioning, but had a ceiling fan was cool. Beds were ok, three if you had more people.

First of all, didnt realized there was no airconditioner,we requested for one C5 supposedly newer but it was like a dump, depressing motel room...went back to original first room, ceilingfan broken, temp was so hot 90s...thank God the guy gave us another room with working fan and extra stand fan...my friend and i tried to kill moths that got into our room..thought we got them all but one crawled in my hair, jump out of the bed my friend awaken and tried t get it..she didnt got it but she left light on inthe kitchen until we fell back t sleep,no moth attack on me but the ff am,my friend told me she was awaken and kicked spider..we both woke up with sniffles and allergies restless..shower and coffee was the only thing that we like inthe motel..and nice smell of the towels too..

Mountain cabin charm (moths and all), very well kept grounds, convenient parking, lots of thoughtful interior comforts like extra pillows and towels, quiet and near local amenities. The room however had a horrific moth problem. Every night we’d be swarmed with moths from who knows where (disappeared in the day). Unable to open windows in fear of more moths and mosquitos left to hot sweaty nights with no AC.

We were travelling a long distance to get to the hotel from San Francisco, the long way around because the short route was still closed by snow.
We attempted to contact the motel several times in the days before we were due to stay to check what routes were open and about late check-in both via hotels.com and direct email, but received no reply at all. So we ended up having to decide to stay elsewhere rather than risk arriving late and not being able to get in and possibly having to sleep in the car in below-zero temperatures.

Clean room, no fuss check in and out. Bring your own soap, shampoo, and conditioner!

it may be an old building but everything is well kept and clean. Only negative is that the motel doesn't allow guests to bring their snowboard/ski in the room. I hope they change the policy.

Our room had a full kitchen and next door is the town grocery. So we had the option to make our own breakfasts during our stay. It was wonderful.
The staff were friendly and warm. The room was clean and they had excellent streaming options on the TV.
I highly recommend this Motel for stays in June Lake.

This property needs a renovation. Our room, which we were told was not a pet friendly room, smelled like dog. The outlet for the phone and computer charging station did not work. When the staff was informed, she just walked away.
It was a very basic accommodation for $200 a night!
