Stayed two nights while visiting The House on the Rock. Friendly front desk, the room was clean and spacious, had a fridge, microwave, coffee maker. The first night it was kind of loud as we heard TV in the room on the other side, their TV must be just by our bed, the 2nd night was quiet.
The coffee shop inside the barn was cozy and had a good selection of coffee and pastry. Overall nice place to stay.
2.5
The room was amazing, my friends and I were more the comfortable in the room the only issue I had was that I was a tad to chunky to use the spiral stairs that led to the second floor of the room properly, but still 5/5 stars for sure.
1.5
noisy. could hear people talking in next room
2.5
Perfect location for a visit to the American Players Theatre. Room was comfortable and roomy. The attached coffee shop was a great place for breakfast.
3.0
The thing that turned us off about our room upon entering was the persistent smell of what appeared to be unsuccessful suppression of ancient cigarette odor. Otherwise, the room was spacious and reasonably comfortable. But, the odor just made it unenjoyable.

Great room, clean and easily accessible.

Large, comfortable room. Nice coffee shop adjacent, tho not open on Sunday,

The staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and we had a great time swimming in the pool!
4.0
Really liked the property and very well taken care of. Only issue, minor, was that the walls seemed thin and you could hear a lot of doors slamming.
2.0
Convenient location for attending APT. Older hotel and large room but hallway was dark and carpet dirty.
4.0
I like that it was a small business, not a chain. Very personable staff. Loved the coffe shop.

The woman at the desk was extremely rude and unprofessional
5.0
Enjoyed our stay. Close to American Players Theatre. Anita’s Diner for breakfast was excellent!

Great place to stay if visiting Taliesen!

Large, comfortable room

The room was very spacious and the hotel was quiet with a nice pool. There are a couple of restaurants nearby, but no sidewalk, so walking felt a little treacherous.
1.5
"Jetted Tub" was disconnected, the tub itself didn't work because they disconnected the plug. The remote didn't work, so the TV didn't work and they didn't know w=how to program the remote. The coffee shop is nice!

This place was just cozy and charming... nice staff greeted us upon arrival. Just a charming stop.. nice looking pool, on site coffee shop (really great). Highly recommend a stat here when you visit House on the Rock, Talliesin or American Players Theater. 100% would stay again

Delightful stay for our Taliesin experience!

It was great, very quiet and peaceful. Quick and easy checkin, and the bed was very comfortable.

Staff was friendly. Stayed 3 nights with no complaints. Pool was warm and pool area was clean and well tempered.
3.0
Staff was friendly. Hotel was clean. Unique round barn structure with indoor swimming pool was great for kiddo. Outdated loud HVAC system in room, mattress was uncomfortable and too hard for my liking. Very inexpensive basic shower head with not great pressure. Unique suite with lofted bedrooms and small spiral staircase but weird that loft looked into master. Attached restaurant closed on Sunday with no food served.

Everything is perfect about the room and the property. The room was spacious and comfortable and very clean. Nice staff. Great location for what we were doing and who we were visiting. Thanks Round Barn!!
1.5
Walls very thin so could hear everything. Could only use tub as shower and inconsistent room temperature
The location was good though!

Pleasant location in nice little town which was resplendent in autumn colors. Very handy to House Built on a Rock and Taliesin. Easy check in. Very large room. Comfortable bed. Good linens. Clean. Sign in bathroom advised that jetted tub had been disabled and drain plug removed, and that only shower should be used. The vertical blinds could not be opened. Pool was inviting, but I didn't go in. Very decent place for the price.

Historic older building, with all the charms and limits that implies. Exceedingly clean, quiet and well-maintained. We're happy.

This property brought out the charm of the area , it had a very interesting history of it's development, maybe a little difficult to find a ample selection of dining, but we enjoyed our stay very much

Best coffee so far on our trip. No black out shades. There were vertical slat blinds that worked better than I thought they would. Nice lady checked us in.

Rooms not abound proof enough
4.0
Room was clean, bed comfortable. Drains in tub and sink drained SLOWLY. The room (non smoking) definitely had the smell of old smoke.
5.0
a very positive and safe environment with excellent cafe next door.
4.0
It was an average place to stay. A little overpriced since they didn't offer a breakfast.

The size of the room was great!
5.0
Everything on site- including cafe and pool. And the structure is so cute.
3.0
Great location if seeing a show at APT or visiting Taliesin, but not the nicest hotel. It’s clean but outdated and the wifi is spotty.
