Had a fantastic stay in this resort!
Great service and hospitality.
Also 2 great dives on the house reef! Great dive master Tintin.
Food was also great!
Could have had some more comfy alternatives for seating in the lounge and bar area.

We had a nice stay and hotels area looks and feels amazing. Staff is nice and we would like to give a special shoutout to the evening shift ladies who where exeptional. However... If you are looking for a party place then this might not be for you. We would definitely stay again.

I like the natural materials used in the construction. I do not like that there is no signal/wifi in my villa hut. I also do not like that there is no intercom either.

Pro’s: Food was excellent. Good sized portions. Layout of the site was very pleasant. Set in a green valley running down to the sea. There was internet in the restaurant but nowhere else on site. Cons: No cellphone coverage. The rooms had mosquito nets. It means if you want to escape the bugs you have to sit on the bed. It would be much better to have screens on the doors and windows. No aircon in the rooms. I believe a limited number of rooms have aircon. The room itself is open to the thatched roof so there was quite a lot of bugs and a few spiders as well. Especially in the evening. You do need the doors and windows open to get any fresh breeze in the room. There is a provided fan. No fridge in the room. All the steps in both the rooms and the restaurant are unnecessarily high. Very few path lights to illuminate the uneven pathways. No TV in the rooms. No tea or coffee making facilities. Parking for just one car on site. All the seating in both the room balcony and the restaurant are locally made rustic wood and very uncomfortable to sit on for any length of time. Summary: A good concept let down by detail. Another was the owners attitude. On arrival the owner rudely demanded to know what was in our cool boxes saying you cannot bring food or drink in here. You have to buy everything from the restaurant! Also on checkout the owner informed me that because I booked via Expedia, breakfast was not included, even though she knew this was an issue with website!

The room where we stayed is comfortable for us, then we proceeded to dinner. Since it is already late when we arrive at the hotel, the dishes are not really good and expensive. The next day we are booked for a whole day tour during our lunch we decided to get full meals since we did took breakfast and our meals last night are not really appetizing and expensive. Since we cannot eat it all we decided to bring to the hotel for our dinner. During our dinner at the hotel we asked if they could allow us to barrow utensils since our meal our wrapped in plastic and if they could also reheat our food. However, they did not allow us even we are going to buy something in there menu. Also for us to saved some money during our trip and the food are still ok and just needed to reheat. For me this type of request must be considered for customer service and take care of there guest. We ended eating our food in not really good way since they did not allow us to barrow plates. Also, we noticed that the comfort room (which is a couple room) has no door. On our side since we are not a couple it is not comfortable to use the comfort room without any way to hide. The rooms are quite expensive and breakfast is not included. For travellers who are on a budget this hotel is not for you and quite far from all. However, I commend the area it is so relaxing and fell the waves.

I reserved and paid for a “king” size bed private cottage, as this was our honeymoon, but they only had available a two “twin” bed cottage - I received no monetary compensation for this discrepancy. Moreover, it’s advertised as a “beach” resort; unfortunately, there’s no beach, just a rocky drop-off into the water. Additionally, they do not accept credit cards - cash only, and the only two (Gov Bank) ATMs didn’t work with USAA VISA debt cards. The cottage had no air conditioner with daily humidity at 90%, and was infested with ants - they were even in the bed sheets. The food (herds, veg, fruits, meat) is advertised as grown on their own farm, but that is debatable after stating that their coffee is grown and harvested by local monks, but in fact I watched them spoon instant coffee into a cup of boiling water. Furthermore, eating locally at other restaurants was more than 1/2 of the cost as eating at their restaurant. But the biggest disappointment was their advertisement as a “Dive Resort”, but that their scuba air tank valves were not standard valves (like every other country I’ve visited = 31 countries) and would not accept our US Divers regulators. So, the only way to dive with them was to “rent” their gear, which is a scam. But, the only other two dive centers on the island did have standard tank valves. Positives: Exceptional staff, very professional, beautiful landscaping.

every thing was good... they provided scooter rental at a reasonable price. Because the property is right off the main road.. traffic noise is heard during daylight hours.. For example fish vendors on tricycle with loud speakers driving past at 5:00 am - 6:00 am were annoying but other than that the place and rooms are very nice..

A wonderful place, the resort is kept with a German perfection of rural Philippines tradition and modern facilities, unlike most Philippines home with hot water! For a diver it is total unrealistic to be able to just walk out the door and down on a beautiful reef. The colors are so intents. The arrange trip to Mantique Island was nice for the family, but the dives were not better that the House reef, just outside the door. The staff score 10 out 10, no less BUT in this session, July, the mosquitoes are so many and so aggressive that is had a negative impact. Camiguin has a lot more to offer that diving and recommendable, but transportation is the double compared to on Mindanao (Cagayan de Oro)

Quiet place. Good for relaxation. Near the beach .

When I was looking for a place to stay in Camiguin what I had in mind as a peaceful...quiet place...where I can disconnect from the network...see the ocean when I wake up...then spend the afternoon reading a good book under the sun... but I essentially experienced what I was expecting....
Although the resort has no sandy beach front...snorkeling is fun and exciting as well...
I recommend a stay in this resort if you have cash to spare and if you want to reflect and disconnect....

stayed in the resort for a quick break from work... and its all worth it... the villa is so comfy and you can get in touch with mother nature due to its eco friendly design and the fact that is the ultimate goal of the resort. staying in the resort will give you serenity and tranquility at its peak. the resort staff are very accommodating each and every one of them even the resort owner that will actually talk to you and make you feel at home. the food omg its all delicious and the dinner menu they change everyday to give you different choice and variant. the tour is really the must to try, it is the one you really need to enjoy and take a look what camiguin has to offer. all in all really really recommend this resort to all you guys there who wanted to experience the virgin island of camiguin

There's hard to find a wifi access even in lobby. I stayed two night, and second day, room wasn't cleaned well. Overall, for location, convenience, relaxation, unfortunately I have not enough reason to recommand this place.

We enjoyed our stay here considering that Camiguin is a small island and there are not that many great hotels to choose from. Food was decent and staff were very helpful. We stayed for 2 nights which I think was enough time to explore the whole island. The hotel were able to accommodate us checking in early (7.30am) which was a plus. The sun deck is the most amazing part of the hotel, we had the whole deck to ourselves pretty much each time we went - it is so peaceful and the views are absolutely breathtaking. The only downside was that there are a few ants and small bugs in the room but this is due to how the rooms are open and on grass land. There is no wifi in the rooms only in the main area which was very very slow, but I believe this is the case everywhere on the island. I was surprised that there was no body wash provided by the hotel, or hairdryer.

My partner and I recently stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. The hotel itself is in a lovely tropical garden setting with simple bungalows, but access to the water is a bit difficult as it would involve jumping off rocks.
Upon arrival, we were told that any credit card payments would have 6 or 10% added to them. We told the front Philippino person at the front desk that this is against Philippino law.
The room was appointed very basically. The bed was comfortable. There was no door bathroom/toilet and bedroom/main room. The airconditioner was also placed in an odd location which made it less effective.
We decided to do the Camiguin Highlights tour, but unfortunately the hotsprings and trip to White Island were not on the itinerary. The tour itself was quite nice and we visited several places around the island in the back of a jeepney. They prepared a packed lunch for us, and my sandwich was full of ants. Even though several of us opted to not do the zipline, they still included this in the price of the tour.
On return of the tour, we came back to our room to find the door unlocked, posing a security threat to our belongings.
Furthermore, we requested a 4:45am wake up call to be able to catch our early morning flight, which we never received.
Wifi was almost non-existent, there was no phone reception and use of the hotel phone was 50 pesos per minute.
Upon checkout, we were again told there would be the 6 or 10% credit card surcharge and the front desk told us we were warned.

The staff is nice, the rooms are big and have a great balcony. there is a sunset view and a very nice breakfast! However, the resort is in a sort of jungle so there were ants in the room. Hot water were not available all the time.

Nice staff. Nice place. Lots to do if you dont want to just relax. If you want peace and quiet at night dont go late April and May, there are very noisy parties at a nearby resort, quiet outside of these dates. Dont go there if you have a slightly younger Filipino partner though, the male owner/manager makes it obvious youre getting the cold shoulder for whatever hes presumed. I was the only male there he didnt talk to, he was quite friendly to others, said it was mostly nice to have you when my partner and I left.

We stayed in one of the cottages which was gorgeous, nicest place we stayed in in our time visiting the Philippines. No phone signal but if you travel 5 minute up/down the road you are connected. Got a motorbike around the island which was really fun. Nice food but restaurant next door was a little better (and cheaper!) Good opportunities to scuba dive and the perfect place to chill out.

Having stayed here about a year ago, my partner and I were looking forward to a little romantic getaway.
What we got was, a room with no hotwater, ants crawling around the bed and bathroom, wifi so slow, they may as well not have it. Limited overpriced food at the restaurant you'd be better staying away.
After notifying the resort staff about the lack of hotwater, they told us they fixed it, we did manage to get 1 hot shower during our 3 night stay. On the last night once I brought it up with the front desk staff member the response was, 'we can provide you a bucket of warm water' She then showed me the new hot water system in the box, which needed to be installed at a later date. Had the room rate been $30-50 a night you could put up with the nuisances, the fact was at $100 a night you'd expect a lot more!
I doubt we'll be staying here again!

We stayed here during Christmas for a short break and had a really good time. We received a warm welcome from the owners upon arrival and were explained the most important things about the place and the optional tours. We did a day of diving with the great instructors on Mantigue Island. As we are not very experienced divers it was nice that they took the time to explain everything which made our dives very relaxing.
On Chistmas eve there was a small party with a band and good food prepared by the restaurant, really nice evening. For us this is certainly a place to remember when we go back to the Phillipines.

Found this place online by browsing google maps, and decided to go to Camiguin because of this place and not the other way around, though we discovered in the mean time that Camiguin itself is definitely worth the visit.
The resort is a strong mix of western and native architecture, lifestyle, staff and food. It blends into the natural environment to provide a place for both retreat in itself and as a base to see the many natural and historic attractions around the island.
To best experience the beauty of this place, you will want to book one of the villas or cottages rather than the hotel-style standard rooms, though the former lack aircon so it can get a little uncomfortable at night if you are not used to the tropical heat and humidity of the Philippines.
Don't stay here if you are after a white sands beach resort experience. There is no sand to speak of, though the waterfront platform and the hammocks spaced out among the trees more than make up for that.
Rooms are best shared by couples or family, as they offer little privacy to those inside.
Staff are lovely and more than helpful. Will most certainly return.

A very relaxing few days. The service was good and although off season the staff were friendly and attentive.
A really relaxed outlook from the room across the gardens and trees.
Power outages were regular, but were due to a few storms overnight knocking some power lines down.
The rooms were clean and well presented. Hot showers :). A great getaway spot that was an easy drive to local restos and the sites.
