I had two major problems with my stay;
— There was loud music being played somewhere in the neighbourhood of the hotel all night until almost 6 in the morning. I could hear the bass, but nothing else, as if there was a nightclub operating nearby. The hotel provides complimentary earplugs in the rooms, so I assume this is a regular issue. If you sleep deeply, or have poor hearing, you may be fine anyway.
— I stayed in April, the hottest month of the year. The air-conditioning was clearly underpowered, and that contributed to a bad night’s sleep.

We had a lovely stay here. The staff were very kind and welcoming. Unfortunately in the morning the water for a shower did not get past Luke warm, for me or any of my friends in the other rooms. Also there is a bar and a night club in walking distance, so it does get pretty loud from the hote however, if you are looking for a place to party at night, that is your place. . I found it also consistently smelled of sewage from the pool chairs. I think the amazingly kind staff makes up for all of this tbh.

First clue this is a noisy hotel is the earplugs they provide laying on the bedside table. There’s a nightclub or bar that plays load music till the early morning hours. Even on a Monday night.

There is a huge bar next to the hotel, make so much noise almost whole night.

The hotel is very comfortable, there is a pool area where you can relax.
The staff is very helpful and they are not afraid of foreigners.
The area is very nice as well, there is a KTV and some nightclubs nearby that you can just walk to.

We just stayed one night, because the hotel is close to the airport. When I first book the hotel, it was saying on its page at hotels.com that they have a free shuttle to the airport, which is not true… not a big deal, the hotel is nice stuffs really helpful.

Beautiful renovated hotel built around a traditional building. The courtyard and pool are just as pictured. We were in an unrenovated room and the beds were second rate, like sleeping on a box spring. Also, a nearby karaoke club pounded out the bass til midnight but the hotel-provided earplugs took care of the problem. The location is near-ish the airport and the free hotel shuttle helped us get from the airport and to central Vientiane. The location itself is commercial/light industrial and has little to recommend it.

We absolutely loved Chandara Boutique! We had high hopes and they were only triumphed by the actual quality of the service and hotel itself! Due to an extended stay, the staff actually upgraded our hotel room which was such a lovely touch!

I liked the atmosphere of the hotel very much. Surrounded by good ornaments and greenery, it was like a different world from the surroundings. I think the hotel is not new, but it was clean and tidy. The meal was very delicious. I used breakfast every day. As for the night meal, I used the hotel restaurant because there was no place to eat around. There was something like a supermarket nearby and it was convenient. The staff was helpful because they speak English. Transportation to the city and the airport is free when you make a reservation. When I consulted the staff where I wanted to go sightseeing, he made a tour. The price is higher, but I think I am lucky because I met my own wishes. The smile of the staff who always responded at the meal was impressive and healed.

Nice laotian style hotel with great architecture and large swimming pool with plants around. A great place after à long visiting walking day or just to relax some days in a beautiful place. A little bit far of center but cheap taxis. Nice employees and van driver.

Beautiful small hotel. Small hotel means bug service!!! Nou Nou was very attentive and helpful. He went above and beyond several times. They even opened the restaurant early on our last day because they knew we were leaving early. We will definitely be back!!

Very nice boutique hotel. Lovely carden and pool. 30 minutes walk from center but free shuttle-bus every two hours during daytime to the center and also to the airport. Restaurant in the first floor offers good food and nice breakfast. Nearby was a chinese hotel which nightclub was a bit noisy during the New Year.

The door had a regular lock with key. The knob fell off in my hand. It was a large room, flat screen TV, table and chairs in the room and a huge bathroom (with tint are to shower), and a huge balcony. Since almost all TV was NOT in English I planned on watching You Tube and playing some games on my laptop. Wi-fi was so bad that was not really possible. Could not play any games and you tube spent more time buffering than playing. 2night I stayed I went to eat at their restaurant, don't forget their is no place else to eat in the area. I ordered spaghetti with meat sauce. After an hour wait, I was the only person at the restaurant, I asked what's taking so long. They checked and said it would be another 10 - 15 minutes! I asked why spaghetti takes only 5 min, to cook ant it is taking them over an hour? No answer. I said to give me free garlic bread as I was starving. They brought me warm French bread. 5 min. later they brought me French fries. I said fries with spaghetti? No answer. Then they brought me a plate of cubed beef with cut up onions and red peppers and beef sauce! I said this is not spaghetti. I was dumbfounded. This was the dinner I ordered the night before. I asked twice saying why is the spaghetti taking so long. I used the word spaghetti. When I got the bill they charged me for the fries. I refused to pay it. I payed in Yhai Baht as the Laos kip is garbage and everyone in Laos takes baht. I got kip for change and was asked to come back the next day to exchange.

The hotel itself was nice and staff accommodating. We enjoyed the breakfasts but the room was very disappointing for $60 we could barely get hot water, their were lots of bugs and the air conditioner leaked. The communal areas were nice but the room was on par with a $25 place.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Went out of the way to help find a handphone lost in the city. Helped organise taxi for site seeing.

First, the hotel is far from the center, further than i was informed by the website. But the hotel offers free shuttle bus to the center and pick-up 4 times a day (but not the evening). So it was ok for the day, but in the evening you had to take a tuk tuk which was really expensive, 50,000 Kip for one way.Second, my room was big but not nice. It was old and had a bad layout. But my friends room was great and totally different from mine. We asked to change to another room like that but impossible. There was no hair dryer and telephone in the room. Is that acceptable for a hotel like this and for what i paid???I thought the neighbor would be quiet once it was far from the center. But unfortunately it was not quiet at all. The motorbikes riding in the street in front of the hotel was terribly noisy at night. Plus a karaoke or club with loud music until late at night too.And finally breakfast was poor.Only the service was good. And the staff were friendly.

The hotel is 2km from centre of town. Everything was dated and looked old and used up: very old carpets, shower came apart, sink almost did as well... Needs fixing.
Staff was friendly enough, but spoke very little English.
Breakfast was very good. Pool looked nice, but we did not go for a swim.

A cozy hotel with good atmosphere and very helpful staff. A real boutique hotel. Neighbour Hood is not that inspiring but no concern. Expect some noise from a nearby music venue up to around midnight.
