The most dangerous place full of gangsters and prostitutes full of cigarette smokers, very hot no window and no friendly approach from the reception and no English speaker and not secured at all. There is as well time limit for entering room because of the danger that may come from the area. I won't recommend for anyone who needs comfort and security. I did not stay the whole time there I walked out on 17/11/2024 because of all the dirty situation there. Despite they did not give me the right service, they were not in a position to give me back my money which I paid for ten days. I only stay for 3 days they could not return my 7 days paid money.

This hotel was in such a bad, dirty neighborhood. It was super dangerous at night. The hotel is very run down and needs many, many repairs. There were sometimes no toilet paper in the bathrooms. The room itself was so small it was hard to move around in. I could touch both walls with my hands and I am 5’2”! There was no air conditioning or WiFi. There was a tiny, old fan blowing very little air. The staff was pretty nice and helpful though.

Brazil friends advised me not to stay in this
vicinity because it is not safe for foreigners

The place looks like an old poor man's shelter. The entry is through a locked, jail style steel door with bars. The room's only window connects to the only hallway so all the smells and noises are shared with everyone. This place is cheap but not worth the low cost if you intend to sleep or if you have respiratory limitations like asthma or are generally used to sleep in a smoke free environment.
My neighbor was chain smoking and the only cooling are ceiling fans which spread smoke and the smell of ashes and old urine throughout the place. The smells were vomit inducing. The noise was constant. This place is incredible in it's own way but not even suitable to store luggage for a few hours.
I had to catch a flight in the early hours and discovered that we were locked in for the night. Had to make noise for a while, banging on doors, to wake up the warden who is the only one that can open the door. What if there is a fire, I wonder?

So So...hotel is very cheap but quality leaves alot to be desired. Bathrooms are communal but clean. The internet did not work for the time that I stayed which was annoting. And there are often mosquitos in the rooms. Also alot of people who smoke inside their rooms leaves the whole place smoky. Beds not very comfortable but they are clean. Old TV with poor reception

Because of a visa issue I missed my stay and went to the hotel late, booking a room for an additional night because I needed somewhere to stay in Brazil. When I opened the door to the hotel and saw the dead cockroaches on the stairs, I should have turned back. Unfortunately, I did not.
The first issue was trying to book the room: it was extremely difficult because the receptionist does not speak english. I even took my money out of my wallet and pointed to the room cost on the wall. He was so confused, I had to go into the office and behind the counter and converse with him using Google Translate.
The room itself was extremely small and burning hot like a furnace kiln. How could anyone design a room like this? Not even the bed could fit a full person!
In the 30 countries I have traveled to, I have never walked out of a hotel and booked a different room at a different place(let alone be upset enough to write an expedia review).

It was 37 degrees during summer time but there is no air-conditioning. The windows were open due to broken glass. We have no way to avoid from mosquito bites. We are afraid that we have already infected with Zika Virus.

Very cheap, very basic. Just a room with a bed, a tv, and a table fan. Shared bathrooms.
