Riversleigh was lovely the old historic building was wonderful and outfitted beautifully however there was a lunatic across the road in Norton street who played loud music late at night and very early morning around 4am this ruined our stay unfortunately.

Upgraded to the New York room we were very happy with the comfort... spoil yourself & stay here to enjoy the 1880s way of life... great bed, lovely bathroom, a verandah from which you can breath in the sea air...

A real 'Hidden Treasure'! Wonderful ambience, and restored to a very high standard of authenticity and cleanliness. Convenientlyclose to the river, shopping centre etc.Highly recommended. Our recommendation to a neighbour has them planning a stay.

The guesthouse is a really beautiful old house, but that means less insulation. It is located next to a major through road, and guests in other rooms are easily heard. In sum: if you are after a quiet stay, this is not the place. However, there is beautiful scenery (and silen e) only a few minutes away. My room was big and spot clean. The Molton Brown toiletries partially replaced by refillable IKEA bottles. The Sydney feel as per the booking site was more like Bali. Wi-Fi was good. The TV did not work (wind?). The host welcoming and friendly.

The ambiance of an older building but with modern amenities makes it special. However, as can be expected sound travels between rooms which can be a little disconcerting. Wifi strentgh was weak.

Very pleasant. Wasn’t sure of time of arrival so had a call from owners to advise how to access in event they were not in. They were and were very pleasant in welcoming us and recommending were to dine. All very relaxed and very pleasant stay. Lovely room. You could tell the owners had a real passion and sense of pride

Riverlea B&B is a fantastic restored home that has excellent facilities. It is short walk to some great cafes, for morning coffees, and restaurants for relaxed evening dining. The hosts were very knowledgeable. Their advice where to eat and visit was reliable. Our room had ear plugs, not sure what for as we did not need them. Riverlea was relaxed and peaceful.

Very nice boutique hotel, with fantastic staff and welcoming feel. The property is very nice, and the location is very central. The bed was very comfortable, the only downside was that the extra bed was quite hard.

Recommend 100%! Love this hotel. So friendly owners/staff, clean room and bathroom, and very nice beds. Would stay again. If you're going to Byron Bay it's a 45-60min with bus, costs a feel dollars. Easy to get there. Time flied fast because of the view from the bus. Information centre, pool, waterslides and a small beach across the street.
