There were no towels, the women's restroom was a floor above where we were staying. We got haggled by a random man as we were walking to the hotel. Not sure what he said but it was not polite. The room was exactly as the picture so can't complain about that, as I knew what I was getting into, my major complaint was the lack of towel so I was unable to shower. With the women's restroom being so far away it was incredibly inconvenient. At least there was an elevator.

Very easy to locate and was a fairly short walk to the nearest station. Also was very quiet. Definitely recommended place to stay

Word of advice: book a NON-SMOKING room. These rooms are so much nicer than the regular, smoking rooms. Also, note that you get what you pay for. This is a bare-bones place to sleep. It's safe, clean, and secure, but it ain't the Ritz, let me tell you.

I'm used to small rooms and low-cost guest houses, and usually enjoy them. This place, however, was bad. There was only 1 bathroom for the entire floor (38 rooms)--3 urinals, 3 stalls (one a squat), and it was in bad shape. The doors were broken, and the stalls so small, my knees pressed against the door. There are only 3 showers for entire hotel. Those were only available from 15:00-18:00, and they charged for towels. There were zero amenities (excluding some vending machines on the first floor), and check-out time was 09:00, not 11:00 as listed in their advertisement.

This place is a little rough around the edges but you get what you pay for.The hotel is located in a shadier area of town but it is close to Shin-Imamiya and the subway Station (Dae-imatsu or something like that). Staff in the residence was nice enough and the rooms are just large enough to lay in with your bag and not much else. The hotel is not as clean and cheerful as I wouldve liked it to be but for $20 a night theres nothing to complain about. The pillow they give you is quite uncomfortable and the provided mattress isnt very comfy either. My biggest complaint was with the noise from dripping water from all the AC Units and you could hear people in the hallway quite clearly which lead to bad sleep at night/early morning. The shower unit was very clean and nice but there was only one. I didnt have problem with waiting to take a shower but the hotel wasnt busy when I stayed. I would stay again if I was backpacking through Japan but I wouldnt recommend it to those who are here just for a couple of weeks and are looking for an affordable comfortable experience.

It is surprised no spare power point available in the room. I have to take off the tv power plug for laptop connection

1) bad experience
After I signed for keeping my luggage and then started my trip, I discovered I had left my pen at the counter when I arrived the JR station (after 5 minutes). I believed that it should be ok (they should keep and return when I ask)
However when I asked after I checked in at the night. They staff said there was no pen reported loss and he asked me to check with the am Staff when I checked out the day after. However I found they he was holding my pen in his hand. When I further questioned, he said it was the hotel's pen But I found they other colors pen were cheaper than mine (the one he was using)
When I checked out and asked the am staff (actually the same person as the am staff the day before when I checked in), he said no pen was there. I was totally disappointed
2) a bad finding
As the room booking is full, I can only book smoking room although I am non-smoker. When I turn on the air conditioner, I found that it in-jet air with smoke smell from outside. I can only off it
