No complaints at all. Ive seen reviews on it being nasty and dirty. Our room was nice, no wierd smells. Shower pressure was better than any hotel I've been to. Pools were nice and clean. Food and bars were great.

My kids and I had a blast to stay. I love the indoor water park. Can’t wait til I come back for 4th of July weekend.

We booked last minute and stayrd for a great rate that included the water park and a wonderful clean room! This was a great gem we didnt know about but we definitely will be back!!

Definitely not as expected for the name. Bed was comfortable but sheets had stains. Stains on the ceiling and terrible paint job in the bathroom. The rooms were not quiet. Constantly had someone slapping the door or slamming doors. You can also hear walking above.

Front. Desk check in was awkward. My son made a comment that she looked exhausted and wasn’t friendly but not mean. Just looked annoyed to be there.
We stayed in the stone hill first floor and to get to the room was weird felt like we were in a basement and no ground access.

Room was clean and beds were good to our standards. Room amenities worked, staff was helpful in anyway we needed. We stayed at stone hill which is across the road from waterpark, that was the day 1 just arrived confusion of whole trip. Inflation made food prices not friendly but we understand the economic times we are in. Shuttle bus was a very good bonus and great drivers to pick you up and take you to the park, that was great. Water at park could be warmer in our opinion.

So much fun! Took our 3 year old grandson and it was perfect!

We had an amazing time in TN and Wilderness Stone Hill Lodge was beyond amazing! Our two children had the best time at the waterpark, arcade, and food shops. We have raved about our stay with family and friends and will return next year and hopefully with a large group :)

We had a blast! Best trip we have encountered. The resort was awesome, clean, quiet and fun! Lots to do and see!

Our stay was amazing starting from the friendliness at check in to the cleanliness of the room. Not only was the resort beautifully decorated but the indoor water park was a hit with our children .

Staff was fantastic. We had an issue with the TV and maintenance took care of it immediately.

Wish there was other entries so as to not have to Walk so far from the front door to the room. Both times we stayed our rooms were the farthest away from the front door you can get. We were so exhausted from walking that distance. I realized that is impossible but that long of a Walk is crazy.

It was my birthday and i wanted to go to waterslide and found this AMAZING PLACE!

There was nothing I liked about this stay. The hotel rooms are very expensive for what they are. The bathroom is very small. You can’t get in the bathroom without stepping onto the toilet, squatting. This is terrible for kids. One bed took up most of the space. Called for extra towels & got none. Noticed a few weak spots in our floor & it scared the hell out of me. We stayed away from the room for the most part because of this. There is no room to walk in the room. It was a horrible stay. Parking was horrible because the hotel is hooked onto their convention center. The hotel was presented the opposite of what I experienced. The hotel staff just started and never spoke back or even smiled. They looked miserable. There was no room to unpack in the room.

We won't be back. From the beginning, the front desk worker was super unwelcoming and then when we were being charged $200 more than I was quoted, she really got attitude then. I had the 10% coupon from our previous stays and it still came out to $50 more than I was quoted instead of 10% off. The people above us were stomping on the floors for HOURS, night after night. It sounded like they were jumping off the bed. We finally called about it on our last night and it still kept happening. After we checked out, I was notified I had an outstanding balance. I was being charged for places we hadn't even been! It was the same woman with the attitude so I didn't get anywhere with her but we didn't even go to the places I was being told I charged things to the room for, and I paid cash for everything! Last year during Labor Day, it was not busy at all, but this year it was insane. The waterparks were fun when you didn't have to wait in crazy long lines, but overall, everytime we had to deal with the front desk or gift shop, we felt very unwelcome. We have stayed in many hotels in the area through the years and we've never felt like we had such a bad time as to leave a bad review. But when I'm paying 300 a night, I expect to have a good time at a hotel, and overall, we were just treated like we were very unwanted from the front desk staff.

Not worth it. The entire property is just outdated and very obviously outdated. Paint chipping, dirty and faded. The bathroom in the room had mold growing all over the ceilings and the fan was disgusting inside. These were the obvious things so imagine what isn’t. I’m not one to inspect and I didn’t, these were obvious and stood out. Truly not worth the price of the stay. The water parks are fine, basic but also look very unkept and dated. Needs a serious make over.

We showed up at 12 on a Monday to use the waterpark and lucky us! Our room was ready was at Stone Hill. The room was very clean. Waterparks were tidy and had many lifeguards. The week went by smoothly. Shuttles were everywhere and the drivers were all super nice. It was also a perk Soaky Mtn ticket week which was also fantastic. Strict on not bringing in outside food and drink. Definitely recommend a cabana. Overall this has been my best trip ever!!

All the signage was helpful because the property is so large. Everything was clean and there was plenty of entertainment.

At check in we were prepared to pay the other half of the amount that was listed on Hotels.com but were unaware of an extra $68 in "resort fees" we had to pay, so that was great. Second thing was that one of the reasons we booked was because of the new attractions, which 2 of the three were down for our entire stay. The Kalidescope Lazy River and the new water coaster kept having issues and was going down often. We also upgraded arcade passes to be unlimited and the kids went to the 3d shooting attraction and loved it, but then was informed that attraction was not included in "unlimited". Also, paid for a $4.50 fountain drink, left it for just a minute on the table, came back to get it, it was thrown away, when we asked to get another one a very grumpy person said no. This place is not very friendly and seems like they don't really care about service but by gosh they want that money. Definitely not like Disney or Dollywood, or for that matter, Chick-Fil-A. Guess they're more like McDonalds in that they don't give two rips about customer service. They had a $99 stay again deal and that still wasn't enticing enough after the way we were treated.

Not a good light in bathroom and we had to walk too far to get to our room

Check in was quick, not informative at all being this such a giant property. Food choices on the entire property (over 11 buildings) was limited with limited hours. We were kicked out from the only available food court while eating at 10:15pm. Water park says it closes at 10pm, not true, the kicked out everyone at 9:30pm. Beds are extremely uncomfortable, old and worn out mattress.

The facility was excellent, and the staff was excellent. The choices and options for food and drinks were extremely overpriced and just not that great. My family had a great time and we will probably go again.

I liked that everything you needed, was there. Everything was within walking distance. I would say that things are a little too pricey, but that's what you pay for for convenience.
4.1
We love the Wilderness. Yes, its expensive but worth it for the waterpark. They will let you start using the waterpark the morning of your stay before your room is even ready....then all day on check out as well. We usually stay one night but spend two days in the waterpark. Worth the price if you do it that way.
As far as the hotel itself...Super friendly staff, very clean, and comfortable beds.

Had a wonderful time.

It is what you would expect for a family waterpark resort I guess. First time staying in a hotel like this, will be the last as well, atleast at this one. LOTS of people, EVERYWHERE. For someone triggered by germs, would definitely suggest grabbing flip flops or swim shoes and keeping them on to avoid athletes foot. Carpets are dirty and smell like moist feet. Hard floors are constantly wet and SLIPPERY. Food is expensive and areas to sit and eat are hard to come by. Would suggest going to the waterpark as soon as they open to avoid crowds and lines. Plus its MUCH cleaner at that time.

It was our first time and we loved it!
