People are so warm and welcoming. We really enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was delicious as well.

Very pleasant four nights at La Villa Serena. Fresh breakfast made to order everyday, rooftop terrace with beautiful views, clean, and a most pleasant staff. Tucked away on a quiet side street. The place is close to the sights and restaurants, but, then again, Antiqua is a walkable city. We only had to take an Uber/taxi a few times and that was only because of heavy rain. Only $70 a night. Good deal.

The staff were very helpful and accommodating; breakfast was simple and delicious; morning coffee was so good! My room was nice but too warm and no air movement. I asked for a fan and was given one which helped. There was a window, but no cross ventilation.
It was close enough to shops and restaurants to walk.

Lovely hotel that felt like a family pension. Beautiful courtyard and rooftop, full of blossoming plants. Very nice staff, warm and very helpful. Situated in a quiet part of the city, it felt like a haven of peace.

It was a very nice and clean B&B. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The views on the terrance were beautiful. The only thing was I had a hard time getting hot water out for a shower but after learning the trick to get it to come out it was fine.

We loved our stay at Villa Serena. The property is beautiful and the staff were all wonderful. We particularly enjoyed the breakfasts in the beautiful garden area and the views from the rooftop. Would recommend Villa Serena without hesitation. We also stayed one night at their nearby sister hotel, Las Marias, which was similarly beautiful and staffed with some of the same really helpful people.

Villa Serena is such a beautiful boutique hotel. It is just a few blocks from the busier part of Antigua so easy to get to the heart of town but it is so quiet and peaceful away from busy streets (which is so appreciated with all the motorbikes and buses you hear in the busier areas!) The staff is so kind and they offer a delicious breakfast every morning. We traveled with our two young children and our family room had a bunk bed in a loft that our boys thought was SO FUN! And their rooftop deck is just gorgeous. We highly recommend staying here when visiting Antigua!

This is a very quiet and safe property. Small number of spacious rooms, well equipped, clean. Employees are courteous and helpful. Breakfast is included and delicious. You can have it in the terrace, where there is a clear view of the three volcanos and surroundings.

Stayed for 6 nights with my daughter and her friend. What a unique property. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. The breakfasts were outstanding. Everyone at the hotel was extremely helpful and ready to support in anything. The only wish for the future is to fix the shower pressure. It was doable but low.

Beautiful, quiet property about 10-15 minute walk to the city center or artisan market.

The front desk had his friend standing in the hotel lobby with him yelling and screaming for a half hour at 2:00 in the morning banging doors It sounded like they were having a fight I had to leave my room to ask them to stop and they still kept going. I had to get up at 3:30 in the morning to catch a taxi to get to the airport on time for my flight and because of this noise I only had 3 hours sleep when I had to travel the entire day

This B&B was amazing! We loved the kind staff, the quiet street, our room, the plants and courtyard, the rooftop seating, and breakfast! All so well-done and comfortable?

This property was in a quiet location but easily walkable to the main areas of Antigua. We stayed a total of 6 days, so the breakfast selections became somewhat monotonous; however, they did a decent job with the breakfasts except that the tea and coffee were weak. We used a bungee cord to attach the shower head for functionality. The room was kept very clean and the staff people were very nice.

I loved my stay at La Villa Serena. It's such a cozy little hotel, beautifully decorated, very typical architecture in a quieter dead-end street. Staff is extremely courteous and breakfast is delicious!

Antigua itself is busy, noisy, and bustling. What I love about La Villa Serena, its in a quiet, upscale, residential neighbourhood, Only a few minutes walk to market, grocery store, Parque Central and all the restaurants, cafes & sites. Antigua is a town where you easily walk everywhere. So at the end of your day, walking back to the Villa is a welcome retreat!.. peaceful, calm & relaxing! Rooftop views spectacular. The staff is lovely, accommodating, and polite. Keep up the great service!

A great place to stay! Quiet residential area away from the noise and tourists, comfortable accommodations with excellent internet, hot water, amazing knowledgable host and staff, in room coffee pot on request, delicious breakfast and the hundreds of orchids and flowering plants wrap you into a beautiful natural setting. The property is filled with art work from around the globe. You got to stay here...it's the best, best, best! Rick & Rob, Costa Rica

This secluded bed and breakfast is located in a very quiet part of town. The view from the terrace is beautiful and the garden is well maintained (breakfast is served there). The chapin brekfast is delicious and the staff is very helpful. Only a 15 min walk from the Arco. Great place!

We had a great stay at La Serena Bed and Breakfast. Rolando and Carolina took great care of us. Carolina spoke very good English, she booked our transportation and a Volcano tour and we were not disappointed. We had a great time visiting and learning a few Spanish words with Rolando during the evenings. The breakfast was delicious (made to order), the rooms are decorated with the Spanish Colonial feel, the water was hot and the WIFI was good. We liked that it was not located at the center of town (5 min walk) as we found it very quiet during the evenings. Our only disappointment was that we should have booked a few extra nights in Antigua. If you have time 4 to 5 days should be adequate to do and see the sights. We would defiantly recommend this B&B as it was very good value for the money.

The garden and rooftop area are just beautiful for relaxing and for views of the volcanoes.

The hotel is located at a quiet residenial area with 15 mins walk to the Central Park and 10 mins to restaurants and a handicraft market. The staff there are very welcoming and helpful! Breaksfast is also good. They provide different options for you to choose from. I will definately to stay there again if I travel to Antigue next time.

This place is cute, but the bed wasn’t super comfortable. It’s also 5-10 minutes away walking from most places in town.
