Lovely couple of days and our only disappointment was the noise from road repairs between 11pm and 1am, no double glazing to help dull the noise.

Asked for a different room so we got bigger windows, which was arranged no problem (thank you). Overall it was a nice stay.
Staff were friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was ordered at the table. Sausage I was served was clearly a very budget one. Shame as the rest of the hot breakfast was good. Choice of 'other' breakfast was limited to 3 cereals and toast.
Checkout at 10am is very early

Excellent stay.
Very comfortable and lovely room
A+++

Efficient and friendly check in, pile of junk on the floor whilst checking in at reception, room door was open when i got to the room, bedding stained and dirty, unsure if fresh. Half a toilet roll, no soap or shower gel in dispensers, wouldn’t stay again, convenient location. Needs more than a lick of paint as currently being painted throughout.
3.2
The staff are all extremely friendly, cheerful and helpful.
The hotel is in the process of being upgraded and the public areas are very nice (apart from the toilets needing an upgrade). The bar/restaurant offers a range of drinks and a good menu and the food is a very high standard.
We booked 2 rooms quite late and didn't book seafront rooms and they were quite disappointing and in need of a fair bit of TLC (nothing like the pictures!). We would book again mainly because of the staff but would hope for better rooms.

Really disappointing. I had booked a Deluxe Seafront Room some months ago as it was a choice of my Husband whose Birthday it was.
We got there and the room was the incorrect one - we were given a standard room. I queried this immediately and we were given another room but it still wasn't the room I had booked.
Kind of rectified but apparently it was a technical error and my room had suffered a leak and I was not added back into the allocations.
Shame really - it worked out okay in the end but not 100 percent to my requests.

hotel was lovely, surrounding area was beautiful! The only issue was the shower was extremely small
3.2
parking there was nothing in the way of allocated parking for the hotel so spent a hour looking after asking if my blue badge would be okay in the loading bay till morning I got a mumbled reply that was unsure of regulations for parking outside the hotel. I thought there would be help with baggage especially as I’m disabled there would be an offer of help but alas not even an and told where the lifts were. As we make our way to the room the hotel was in a state and was paint and construction going on everywhere there was no mention of this when booking also! Got to the very underwhelming lopsided room with the sea view beyond the birdshit and dirt covered windows! The bed was missing covers for pillows and the bed sheets were covered in so many stains that we had to request to be changed and also having to get towels that were also not in the under prepared room! The staff who came to the room stank so bad we had evacuate the room and leave the windows open! As said the hotel was under constitution we could not sit in the lobby’s or rooms where the views from the hotel were due to the conditions of the constitution as well as the constant noise that comes with it totally unacceptable for a hotel! A small medical that the hotel failed to help on so many levels be it more worried about answering the phone then medical care when my partner asked for the med kit it had no more then plasters in it so bad wasn’t even asked if I was okay let alone any first aid! Dreadful so bad!!
3.2
Comfortable bed and lovely sea view but room had all white bits on chair that looked like they had fallen from ceiling and the room smelt abit musky where they looked like they had a leak on the walls.

Very nice room recently decorated it seems ,comfortable and great bed

We did not stay. When we arrived, the outside of the hotel was tatty and railings rusty. The reception was tired and the carpet old and dirty. The receptionist had his shirt was untucked and was creased all over. We asked him to let us have a look at the room. On the way, there was carpet rolls and paint all over the corridors. The room smelled and there was damp all over the ceiling and walls. We left. The receptionist didn’t show us down and disappeared.
3.2
Budget friendly hotel, good value for money.
3.2
It was brilliant only two things negative
1- no fan in room was extremely humid
2- bar service was not great, was served flat lemonade with my gin.
But good other than than that lovely room, brilliant view
3.2
Very small room, old table, no dryer, no iron or even toilet roles, don't go for the pictures, rooms are nothing like pictures.

Awful ... had to change rooms as
The ned was nroken. Then fleas were on the bed in the second room, the bathroom was filthy and the t v did not work .ended up leaving the hotel.at 10 pm and found other accomadation

Came to check in. Waited for someone to get of the phone, and when she did get off the phone and saw me waiting she proceeded to check someone else in 1st with out hesitation, there is one lad there English guy very very very helpful ran up and down them stair just to help someone. Get more people like this and sack the women that only help in there preference, if you get what I mean. TERRIBLE SERVICE FROM THE FEMALE STAFF
3.2
Parking is a bit of an issue but we managed to find a space in a nearby back street.
Breakfast was basic but acceptable. Unfortunately, the chafing dishes were not very good at keeping the hot food hot. Maybe they would be more effective if they had 2 burners each rather than just the one.
3.2
Breakfast service was disgusting all cold
Cutlery and crockery was wet and just left on the side
Hot water was brought in a small jug and left on the buffet table kept running out had to wait for it to be refilled customers were sharing part used butter pats because the service was so slow toast took 10mins to be brought to the table no white sugar for tea who takes brown sugar in tea I could say a lot more but suffice to say we left 1 day early and forfeited over £70 don’t book you have been warned

This hotel was absolutely dire! The carpets were covered in splashes of paint, the chairs in the room were filthy. Limited sockets, not near mirror.Knob fell off drawer.
Breakfast was horrendous, the scrambled egg looked like white mousse, cheap baked beans & sausages. All food cold as food heaters not lit! Coffee in sachets & only one jug of hot water so constantly running out, also ran out of cutlery! Butter sachets sat in pool of water. We came to watch the famous tennis tournaments & requested a taxi for it,he didn't know what we were talking about & he said we could book one ourseves but we asked him to which he didn't like! Everyone complaining!!!

Friendly staff, good room and a short walk to restaurants. This part of town has few parking spaces.

The worst stay at a hotel ANYWHERE...EVER.
It was horrific.
No room service.
Nothing.
Broken shower.
Broken TV selector.
No phone in room for reception.
Lots of room doors left open , jammed by chairs. Stench of paint throughout.
Tea and coffee...had to ask at reception for it.
Virtually non English speaking staff.
Smell of Mariana everywhere.
Grass growing on the entrance steps..
I have photos as proof.
I used my redeemable night for THAT!
To visit a lifelong pal in Eastbourne hospital.
I HAVE Photos as proof.
10 of them.

Not like it shows on line, practically bear , l believe housing imigrants. Could not stay had to go home.
3.2
The hotel is decent enough and the view from the room is great. The noise coming from other guests made the whole experience very poor. You could hear them going in and out of rooms, slamming doors, talking in the corridors, this was all past midnight as well, made it impossible to sleep.
3.2
Its a low budget hotel, but on the busiest period was expensive. Paid 100£ for the night.. room doors locked with a locker key , yes metal, blade key…
Room very basic, with window blids falling off… pictures on the website are misleading… you will be unpleasantly surprised
Then no ice in the bar.. on street parking is 5.6£ for 4hrs…
But one night , just to crash in this hotel after going out…
View from the room window was nice ! Thats the only thing i liked about this hotel
3.2
Terrible place TV smashed in room furniture falling apart, mold will not be staying again
3.2
The hotel is under refurbishment.
Hopefully when ready

Upon arrival immediately we were met with the issue of no parking despite the website claiming they do. The front lobby looked good until you turned around and saw the clear evidence of water damage. Our room door lock was loose and spun when putting the key in. Our toilet did not work and the room stunk of fresh paint. We raised our issues and was moved to another room only to have the sound of pouring water intermittently throughout the night.
Breakfast was poor, no visible staff ever except one lad on the front desk. This hotel is very run down.
3.2
Do not stay here until refurb is finished. No Bar, we paid for but did not take breakfast on the second day as the first was that bad...went to McDonalds instead..better value. no bar open no teaspoons in room, no toilet paper yet this is alleged to be 3 * in what alternative universe I have no idea. I want my money back!!
3.2
Hotel wasn't very nice looking from the outside, but the room was really nice, breakfast wasn't very nice but overall good stay.
3.2
Convenient and cheap
3.2
Do not stay here it is not as advertised it is probably an ex immigrant hotel that has been left abused and dilapidated, holes in walls ,floors, ceilings, plus damp ,mould very dirty everywhere in room ,furniture broken ,cheapest mattresses very bad experience no advertised facilities working either eg bar or restaurant, hotel full of workman doing a refurb of sorts
3.2
The hotel is being renovated the room was good and clean yhe view was spectacular.
The staff were very helpful and pleasant.
The food was ample and good
Would i visit again yes.
3.2
The not so Majestic had dirty carpets in the public spaces, nothing that a vacuum wouldn't have resolved.
After entering the room, there was only one bedside cabinet for twin beds at the side of one bed. When I tried to move it, it fell apart. It hadn't been assembled properly. Reception replaced it with sincere apologies.
Later that evening we decided to watch the TV news. TV didn't work .
After comfortable sleep in fresh linen, had a shower but the doors didn't close as they were hanging off the runners.
Poor maintenance was everywhere. Alongside the shower cubicle the plaster was coming off the wall. Overnight it had rained and the outside wall had wet patches all over it. Even the windows were dirty and the curtains were hanging off the rails
In a hotel all internal doors should be self closing as they are fire doors. Our room door would not close on its own because the very nice carpet was holding it.
Although we didn't need it there was no hair dryer.
Hotels.com site states that there is parking. Oh no there isn't. It is on street paid parking. Other sites state that it is on street paid parking

I know they doing up bad parking for disabled we will not go there again breakfast cold
3.2
We arrived at the hotel and were told that our booked room was not available. The owner later said this was because the renovations were behind schedule. We were then booked into another hotel down the road which we had not wanted to stay in. In order to get breakfast in the morning we had to walk along the seafront back to the original hotel. We very much felt like a problem to be fixed and not guests. A risky stay until the renovations are complete.
3.2
For £45 i expect a clean bed, functioning plumbing and a working lock. I got all that. The wifi didnt work, the tv remote didn't work and a broken gutter outside the window was cascading the heavy rain onto the mock balcony. The decor was dated to say the least. The sea view was amazing as was the location. What do uou want fir 45 quid? I was very happy.
3.2
This was a very cheap stay, the management changed between when we booked and when we stayed. The new staff were really lovely and very honest with what they were able to provide. However, nothing was too much trouble and they were constantly running around trying to please people.
It was disappointing to see how some guests treated them. We would definitely return in the future once they have had time to make the changes they hope to.
3.2
We were pleasantly surprised with this hotel. Staff were just brilliant and could not do enough for us. Room was nice and clean with tea and coffee making facilities and a great sea view!
Shower was not that powerful but other than that we enjoyed our visit.
We were even permitted to bring a takeaway and eat it in the bar! Staff also provided us with plates and cutlery how cool is that!!
We will be returning here again next time we visit Eastbourne for sure.

The floors are wooden and creaky otherwise everything else was good
