This is a second time we have stayed here. A very comfortable stay in the North Star room. Walkable distance from town center, about 12 minutes. Very comfortable bed.

Great location

This is like what good B&B's used to be like,
Except without breakfast & the $300 price tag. The place is clean & very comfortable. Not a modern "cooky cutter" chain.

Extremely convenient for us but not necessarily for others. Quiet and comfortable after a major holiday weekend.

One of my favorite places to stay!

Great place for an overnight place to sleep and get a shower on a motorcycling trip. The bunk room was comfortable and clean, bathroom was clean. Host was very flexible with a late arrival.
Salida is a very cool little town as well with a good vibe and nice places to eat.

I had a wonderful experience at Salida Hostel! Audrey was very accommodating to my check in/check out needs. The hostel itself was extremely clean and comfortable. I felt totally comfortable in the bunk room and everyone was very friendly!

1st stay in the regular private rooms. Beautiful and quaint place, friendly manager, nice rooms, BUT, we discovered (too late to call) that we only had bath towels and one hand towel. No wash cloths. I found (In common area) one wash cloth and one more hand towel. Then I discovered two wash cloths---very dirty and obviously left by the previous guest. Very disturbing. Also no cups in room.

The hostel was nice and clean. The twin bed in our room was a twin mattress on the floor in a closet with very low ceilings. That should have been in the room description. Thank goodness our grandson is a Harry Potter fan.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this location. It was very roomy, the beds were comfortable, everything clean and this was our first time in a hostel. Audrey was very helpful and have us a town map and some great local recommendations.

The inn was very clean and provided all of the services I was looking for.

Thought I had booked a different hotel so when I found my mistake and saw it was a hostile I was a little concerned. This place was charming. The beds were very comfortable pillows really nice and the shower was very good. All rooms have a private bathroom which was a plus. We had the upstairs suite which was a queen size bed and then there was “the nook” which contained a single bed; Think Harry Potter style bedroom. There is a shared living room and kitchen area. You can put food in the refrigerator but it just needs to be labeled.

We loved the homey atmosphere! A perfect room for us.

Very nice place with excellent rates.

Very tidy, many amenities.

Easy to find, parking is a breeze. They have an excellent family room with bunks and really good mattresses. Some historic charm left in the rooms. Walking to downtown is a minute or two. We have stayed here twice and would not hesitate to visit again!

It is a renovated farmhouse, beautifully done, in a quiet, safe neighborhood. My room was cosy and comfortable with a private bathroom. The bed was great!
4.7
Very clean and tidy as well as comfotable!

NO TV and the shops closed early on Sunday which left us sitting in a room with nothing to do! Ridiculous

Loved my stay here! I wish it hadn't just been for one night. Mike welcomed me warmly and showed me around the house when I arrived. The house is the perfect combination of beautiful, comfortable and clean. Great common area and kitchen that guests may use, fresh muffins and coffee in the morning, and a lovely, well-decorated room with private bath. It was a perfect night's stay.

Nice common area and room was very clean.

Beautiful Inn in Salida that had the right blend of simplicity, ease of use, "at home" amenities, and quiet. Would love to return when in the area again.

The hostel is an old house that has been converted into a pleasant stay. Creaky floors, tall baseboards and old fixtures makes it quaint and homely. The kitchen is well equipped to make or reheat food. Coffee & muffins in the morning. Quiet and cozy, the hostel is within walking distance to the river. We will return!

The rooms and kitchen were clean. The owner and staff were friendly and super helpful. Great place to stay.

Very charming. Nice vibe. I had left something important behind, and they mailed it to me.

A very quaint and small Inn close to the heart of downtown Salida. Bed was comfortable, room was nicely decorated and clean. If you're looking for a romantic option, make a different choice, as the walls are very thin and sound travels from room to room easily.

The Hostel is in an old Bungalow close to downtown, the river, and multiple trails. The house is well kept and the rooms have the charm of its age. We enjoyed a quiet, comfortable night and will definitely return.
