My wife and I had an amazing time. We really loved it! Sandra and her team did everything they could to make our stay comfortable. We were fed well and the food was amazing! They really care about the rainforest and work with a local wildlife rescue that rescues animal and rehabilitates them to go back into the wild. When you stay here, you help them with their mission to protect the Amazon rainforest. Alejandro was an amazing guide and has a great eye for spotting wildlife. Definitely recommend!

We stayed here 4 days mid-October. It was hot (35C) and humid, however - dry enough, with no biting insects around!
Cottages - very clean, thoroughly sealed against crawling and flying bugs. Showers - on the cold side - but - that was quite okay , actually:).
Very well organized excursions , with knowledgeable guide (thanks, Marco!) , kept us busy all days long; the night boat-ride in search of caimans, the Lake Sandoval excursion and all walk-abouts in the jungle were splendid!
Food - three 3-course meals daily (7am, 1pm and 8 pm), prepared by a professional chef, were just AMAZING!!:))
Transportation to and from the airport as well as the boat ride to/from the lodge well organized. Office stuff in their Puerto Maldonado base (thanks again , James!) very helpful and attentive.

Amazon Planet’s infrastructure turned out to be better than expected. The room and food was reasonably good. There was an excellent walks schedule set out for guests which kept us well occupied. Was a little disappointed with the knowledge of the guide and the room cleanliness. Towels which were removed were not replaced. Would have been a good gesture to provide water bottles for the walks rather than suggesting we buy plastic bottles.

A wonderful stay in the Amazon. Activities scheduled everyday were exciting, especially the trip to Lake Sandoval. Food was generally good - three courses for lunch and dinner. Service and drinks were excellent. They provide water in the room and have clean water in common dining area that you can refill your water bottle with. Very attentive and accommodating staff. There is no wifi, showers are cold, and electricity is limited to certain hours a day but we did not find this to be inconvenient.

Brilliant experience staying in jungle. We’re able to cater for vegetarian salad reasonably well. (Mess up on first lunch to which I was told I could get no lunch - so I suggested a sandwich and they gave me two pieces of bread with some cheese inside!) but the meal should themselves were good!
Staff are helpful and have good knowledge.
Canopy walk was great, overall didn’t see that much wildlife but that’s the way the rainforest is. Took us to a ‘farm’ slightly pointless given that none of it grows in the amazon, rafting in the river however during sunset was good fun.
The lodges are clean and impressively bug free. Bathroom is also pretty clean with hot Waterbury available all the time. The railings look like they’ve not been cleaned in years, but minor point.
The transfers were seamless with Sandra greeting us on our arrival, nice office with WiFi also. They are conscientious about flights and times as we were advised to leave early as generally they tend to amalgamate flights (starperu) and indeed they’d changed the flight to an earlier time, so great advice otherwise may have missed our flight!
