The hotel was clean and cozzy. It was very close to the train, bus station , and popular places must see inTakayama. Staffs were also friendly and spoke English. Two thumbs up.

The hosts were super kind and friendly, and the rooms, bathrooms were super clean. The common area is cozy and perfect to have a talk with people staying in the same hostel. It’s also really central and a2 min walk from the main station

I think the staff is really kind and they are good at English. The room is clean (including the toilet) but the room is a bit small. It is better to bring your own slippers (so far I think they won’t clean the slippers for guest haha). First time to live in a hostel, but it feels good. Remember to keep quiet, otherwise some people will knock your door 😂

This was our first time to stay in a hostel, it was cosy and felt like living in someone else's house instead of a hotel. Staff were very hospitable and accommodating. Luggage can be kept before check in and after check out. Common areas were clean and did not feel cramped. When we were there, all guests followed the hostel policies. There was a common refrigerator where you can keep your food, just label it well. There was free brewed coffee in the morning at 7:00-10:00am. Instant coffee and tea were also provided 24 hours. You can use the kitchen to cook food, just clean up after. Very near JR Takayama station and the Nohi Bus Center

The location is super convenient! 3 mins walk to train and bus stations. The people who work there are extremely friendly and helpful. The room is clean and also there is a elevators which is also helpful to move luggages. Some hostel doesn’t have any elevators.

Nice hostel except that there is no lift to the lobby area so with big suitcase, it was quite troublesome. Other than that, our stay was pretty good.

Loved the traditional feel of this hostel, had a double room and it was very spacious, very comfortable bed. Staff extremely friendly and welcoming. Easy to access old town area and the main tourist sights, as well as a short walk to the train station

5 min walk from the JR and Bus station. 10 min walk to the morning market and old streets. Booked the Japanese style room for 4 pax. The hotel has a rooftop and level 5 where you can chill and relax. It has a common kitchen where you can cook your meals.

This is the 3rd Ks House I stayed throughout Japan. As usual, high standards was set. The place is meticulously maintained, and it felt pleasant the moment you step into the reception. The dormitory is pod style, with lockable compartment & power point within. The mattress & linen are comfortable. Washrooms spotless. They have washing machine & dryer on site too. Basically, they took care of every necessity a backpacker could ask for.Takayama is a good transit point for visiting Shirakawago & the Japan Alps.

We stayed in Japanese room for family. The room is adequate for 2 adults and 2 children and very clean. However the bathtub is a little bit too small for us. Location wise, it is near the station about 7 minutes walk.

The hotel was clean enough and in a good location, not too far from the train and bus terminals. It was our first time staying in a hostel so it was not what I prefer. We only chose this one because the other available choices in the area were too expensive or sold out. But for the price, it was decent enough. If you are looking for a budget experience then this hotel is a decent value.

The staff were very helpful. I called them to inform I would arrive after 9pm. They helped my checkin process very smooth even there was no more staff at the front desk. Thank you! But one more thing to inprove: Shower rooms are a bit too few.
