Beautiful setting in a state park. Great view from our room and porch. Quiet, serene and relaxing.

Our room didn’t have heat. The thermostat was broke. We reported it that night. Have us blankets. No heat. Said they would fix it in the morning. Came home the next night and the thermostat still wasn’t fixed. So we went up to the check-in and they said they would give us a heater. So I had to go up and get the heater and bring it to my room. Then I came in and looked at it and said it couldn’t get fixed so we didn’t have heat that night either. When we checked out the girl at the desk, asked me if I would bring the heater down to them. I said I left it in the room. Didn’t ask me about didn’t ask us how things were. Poor communication.

We had a great stay. We enjoyed the Tavern! It was a great place to meet the other guests. The tavern staff was awesome! The front desk staff was very helpful to us.

For a non smoking room. There were cigarette ashes all over the balcony. Should have been swept up. cigarette butts on the walkway to the lobby.
Breakfast eggs were cold.

We stayed for the weekend in the lodge. The breakfast and amenities were fine. We liked the location. There was so much to do! Everything was clean and functional. A little out-dated, but charming. We would definitely stay again and we're pleased with our stay. Dan at the Tavern made our night!

Beautiful lodge. Very clean. Comfortable bed. Staff very nice. Dining and buffet were excellent. Only negative is A/C is controlled by lodge and satellite tv went out.

Close to Natural Bridge. Eating place right there and good Breakfast . Nice deck to each room

The room was in need of work. The area above the entrance to room, vanity and bathroom all needed work. The were wet spots on the ceiling in those areas. The room has a smell of some mildew. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. Had a good nights sleep. All staff we encountered were very helpful and friendly. The restaurant had a variety and the food was very good. Nice gift shop. The area of the Natural Bridge State Resort Park is very nice and beautiful. My only recommendation would that an definite update to room 131 in the lodge is needed. This did not negatively impacted our experience as we were not in the room that long.

I loved staying there and would do so again. The only negative is that the lodge is looking a little worn. But everything is clean and I loved my room and the balcony view!

It had great hiking available and was in a nice quiet setting. There is quite a hike down to the pool, and no easy access to it directly at the motel. The complimentary breakfast is ok and gets the job done. The hotel itself is just ok. Its looking rundown a bit, but was bug free and clean enough for a 1 night stay. Honestly there aren’t a lot of options for lodging close by the Natural Bridge trails and SUP kayaking.

The rooms are a little dated but clean. A microwave in the room would have been nice. Good breakfast and lunch good. The park is very nice with lots of hiking trails. Be sure you take the skylight to the Natural Bridge and then take the overlook trail for a great view of the bridge and the mountains.

Dan, the bartender, was a treat.

The cabin was a little outdated, neat, and had sufficient utensils. However, the vinyl flooring was filthy and looked as if it had not been mopped in a long time. The toilet tank wouldn’t refill and I had to take the top of the tank off each flush. Cabin 201
The wooden walking path to the lodge was taped off. Therefore, I had to walk down to the Hoedown area and then back up a number of stairs to reach the lodge.
The website I booked my stay with said there was a different pet fee.
It is a beautiful and convenient location.

The lodge was a little outdated and retro, like most of State or National Park places. But that's what makes them so good. Right? Everything was great, Staff, food, facilities and loction. The trail to the bridge was right at the edge of the parking lot.
Red river gorge is a short drive away.

Pool was broken, cottages are run down. Moved to a room at the lodge that was at best a 2 out of 10. Whole place was in need of updates.

Lodge has been updated. We knew the pool was closed but unfortunate for so early in the season due to staffing shortage. Breakfast was included and simple but worked for us. Many negative reviews and it could have kept us from booking here. However many rooms now updated and we had no issues.

Cabins are a joke. Ours was a duplex with zero sound proofing.

Beautiful area. Well maintained park. Nice design for a lodge. Good restaurant.
Lodge rooms have nice private balconies.

no patio lights (pitch dark )
Shared a patio with neighbors, no fire pit
Inside has 23’ tv’s in bedrooms and possible 32’ tv in living area… none work. Not even local channels. No Wi-Fi either. Pool is 10 min drive away and there is no driveway to pull into gotta hike all stuff and luggage down about 100 steps.

Our air conditioner wasn’t working. We reported it and were told there was no room to move us to. The air filter was terribly dirty and the screen to the outside door was pushed out, so we couldn’t get fresh air in without also getting mosquitoes. We were led to believe we would receive a discount at checkup but received nothing other than a “we’ve reported the problem”

We stayed in the one bedroom cottage. The property was well-worn but comfortable. Check-in was easy and there were no issues with the stay at all. The environment was peaceful and beautiful. The only suggestion I would make is to let the guests know how many steps there are to the cottage. Lugging our things up the steps was brutal.

Staff was professional, knowledgeable and pleasant.
Dinner restaurant was excellent , we will definitely be back . The hiking paths start at the property so that was a nice surprise
Thank you

The location is great. The place itself is outdated. Hard to find when we entered in the gps. The pool was closed. Other people said it’s been closed all summer. The workers were great and kind. I had an ok stay.

Beds were hard, pillows flat, everything was outdated, building was falling apart.

Check in was possibly the worst service I have had in a hotel in a long time. Being a former front office manager for a large hotel, the lack of effort and communication was impressive from the front desk agent. We arrived early, so I fully understand not getting in, however, when I asked if she could notify the cleaner so our room could get done when it became vacant so we could get in sooner she seemed dumbfounded at that idea and when I asked if she would take my number and call me when it was ready and she said, we don’t do that, is even more impressive considering when we did come to check in the other front desk lady said they could do that. Obviously the first worker simply did not care about us or our stay at all and was more interested in playing whatever she was playing on her phone. Highly disappointed. Room was clean and nice. Customer service at the desk needs an overhaul.

Great location, the pool was actually open during our stay but ran out of pool towels, the breakfast was wonderful and staff were friendly! We asked about a playground and were sent to one tha apparently had been closed for some time due to storm damage. Our second stay in 2 years and will definitely be back!

The property was close the the bridge. Because we booked through Expedia we were the latlst to get our room. Check in 3 pm. They kept telling us our room was not ready all while we sat and watched other get checked in for over an hour
Then our room was right next to the ice machine ,so loud could not sleep at all.

The cottage was run down and the smell was so awful I couldn’t stay for the time I paid. I paid for two nights but only stayed one because the smell was so nauseating.

When we first saw our room, we were thrilled - a spacious, private cottage inside the Natrual Bridge State Park.. Then we realized that many comforts were missing: 1. No internet (the listting said "free internet" 2. The TV had no channels (weak channel signal). 3. No one was available to help (sorry, it's after 7pm). 4. The A/C was terribly noisey. 5. The bed was soft and kind of lumpy 6. When a storm came through at 4am, we realized that the roof leaked (fortunately, not over our bed or suitcases). So, if you don't mind roughing it, it's a charming place. But be ready to forego the comforts.
