House keeping did not come to our room . We used the same towels two days in a row. I asked for more towels and did not get any help. The room was not cleaned while we were there, and no one on the premises to help you.

I asked to check in earlier as I was inside the property however I was told via phone that House keeping was still making rounds so I sat in the lobby waiting & no house keeping was in site. Overall, the place was nice.

The reason I chose the room was for the jacuzzi tub but there was no way to plug the tub and make it hold water; the plug in the drain was broken off and the knob that seemed like it may also stop the water did nothing. The deadbolt on the door of my room was missing. There is no way to close the bathroom door; the latch is missing and the hook that they put on in lieu of that is missing the I bolt. The ceiling of the tub looked like a crime scene splattered with something red. On top of all that, I had a loud neighbor until 1 am and there was no management on site to deal with it.
This was my worst Expedia stay ever.
The management will not refund my money.

They have definitely done some work. Though the general age of the place shows it was still comfortable and clean and we will definitely stay again. They had 2 beautiful sitting areas in the lobby along with an outside area. Check-in and Check-Out was simple and easy.

The short walk to the beach was exactly what we were looking for. The neighborhood was clean and we felt comfortable there. The ice cream shop next door was a nice bonus. The only downside was that the shower soap dispenser was empty and one lightbulb was burned out in the shower room. I wish we could have notified someone about that for the benefit of the next occupants. We really enjoyed our brief stay.

Great service on the phone from KEES. Very basic but clean and quiet. Queen deluxe had a nice mini fridge and Keurig coffee maker. No front desk or staff, but the cleaning people were very nice and helpful when they were there. Check in was a little confusing. Cleaning staff helped us and two other guests.

It’s a great location with easy access to the beach. Nice accommodations. The shower gel needs to be refilled and the ceiling in the shower room should be cleaned. Their are red splatters all over.

Overall it was a good stay. The room was on the small size but the price was great for that area.
There was no mirror in the bathroom, that should be corrected.

Room door code changed before 9am and couldn't get back in for suitcase. Code wasn't to change till 10am at checkout.

Imagine, for a second, you spend $175 on a hotel room and then you arrive there after a three hour trip. You're ready to get to your room but find out the front door is locked with a pin pad and there's not a single human being on site to talk to. You have gotten zero instructions from the booking place and zero instructions from kees.
What to do?
You've already paid for a room and now you can't even get in. You contact your booking agency who tries to call their front desk only to find that they are so cheap they can't afford to put one there. An hour goes by and you're clueless. You scour the website and no instructions there. More time passes. Eventually you find a review that has the phone number to call. You call that number and speak to a rude person who doesn't have a clue. Finally, said person gets a clue and helps you inside. By this time you're so angry and pissed off and you ask them for extra towels and soap since there's none of that. Or shampoo. She says there's instructions in the room. You look around the room and find absolutely nothing! You take a shower and realize you're not getting more towels so you can't take a morning shower.

Room was adequate. Unfortunately the jacuzzi did not work. Most of my issues involved check in. I should have received room assignment, passcode to enter room, and Wi-Fi password prior to my arrival. Unfortunately that information was emailed the next day. If it had not been for assistance from maintenance personnel who just happened to be there, not sure if I could have reached anyone via phone. The maintenance individual was very helpful and made a call for me. After getting checked in, the rest of the stay was good.

That is fine, however when we were moved to the new room, we were given the wrong Room key number and we had to wait a 1/2 an hour to be able to get into our Room. We were not offered turndown service or replacements for the Keurig coffee in the Room even though we were spending 3 nights. The soap dispensers in the rolm were EMPTY...so we had ro go to the store to buy hand soap for use in the bathroom. We were not offered any fresh towels for 3 days and when we arrived the building was absolutely freezing! In addition, the shower was dirty, and actually had black hair all over the walls. I will not be staying here again, and had we not paid for the entire stay already, we would've left after the first night. This was supposed to be a celebration for my 40th birthday and I can say it was far from that.

Loved the location and history of the inn. Rooms were rustic but clean and the bed was very comfortable! Things I'd like to see improved upon...was not notified through email of keyless entry codes prior to arrival. We arrived and had no idea how to access the building or room. Also, it's always nice to have amenities available, only the bare necessities were included.

At first I was a bit concerned after reading the reviews from other people especially about how hard it was to check in but everything went so well. I contacted the Inn beforehand by email, which I suggest to do if you have any concerns, and they replied back to me promptly with all of the instructions on how to get in the building and into the room. I had no problems getting in and the room was clean and comfortable and included a Keurig and a small refrigerator. We even had a hot tub in the room which was a nice surprise. We were 2 minutes walking distance from the beach and walking distance from a few restaurants and grocery stores too. My experience was wonderful! I didn’t mind that there was no one there during check in and had no problems while we were there. They do provide a number for you to call in case something is needed and there was a housekeeper there in the mornings that I’m sure would have been very helpful if needed. I will definitely keep this place in mind if I ever go back to Nags Head.

The jetted tub did not look clean, the jets had discoloration on them.

Our unit lacked cleanliness.The floors both carpet and hardwood were not clean. We discovered the jetted tub on/off power button was broken. It was fully depressed and would not move. Disappointing! There were no customary bathroom toiletries (barsoap at the sink, etc) Does not Kees Vacation Resorts provide them at any of there properties?!?! This was our first experience with this organisation. We are not planning any future stays at this point. Sorry!

This is cute little hotel, but the only issue I have is A/C is not working properly and it was really hot in the room, both times I stayed here. and u have no staff on site so don’t expect any help.

Many problems. No response from management when emailed. No cable, no way to get in, didnt receive code. Alarm going off for over an hour. Much hassle to get someone to come and turn it off. No one onsite at all.
