This property was not up to my standards. No internet, no front office. Manager was rude, no irons in rooms.
Towels looked unclean.
My first room #215- the air conditioner was broken. They had to move me to another room. Such an inconvenience. I asked for coffee, manager said "no coffee" and hung up in my face.

Check in was very easy, we arrived late. There was still someone there to give us a room key. The property appears to have been recently updated. In general, it was decent for such little cost. Seems to be used more by blue collar workers overnight working out of town. Lots of work trucks. The room was fairly clean, there was one "little friend" under the sink area which is to be expected in Louisiana I suppose. We just needed a place to lay our head so it served it's purpose. We felt safe. Got decent rest and continued travel the next morning. If you want bells and whistles, this is not it but if you just need a safe comfortable place for a reasonable price to rest overnight, perfect!

The hotel is good for affordability and pet fee however it does have bugs beetles crickets and huge mosquitoes that wander in from the surrounding areas .

Good enough that I would stay again. Metal bed stand had a loud pop sound in room 105 when getting in or out of bed, AC did not blow/cool very well. (Good that it was not so hot outside, or I would have had to move). Lawn mowers very near room next morning early was agitating.

There was no where to hang your clothes, fridge was barely cold with no control. There was no way to make coffee. When we came in at night to go to bed the floors were still sandy other than that the rooms were clean and the air conditioning worked great.

First, you have to talk to the office staff through a window eventhough it’s 3 pm. There is no phone in the room, wi fi does not work. No closet to hang your clothes. The towels look like rags. The refrigerator has rust inside and out, it needs to go to the garbage. The floors are new and the bathroom is newly replaced. It looks they are still renovating. The good part is it’s close to Coushatta. Just bring your own towels, bedsheets and pillow case. You get what you paid for.

Comfortable and clean for the price.

I hope it’s OK to compare it to American inn, which is a couple doors away. Kinder in is far better by the price. The floors are clean the bed is comfortable. I like the idea that there is a refrigerator that works and also a microwave. It is very basic, but for the money it’s great, it also has hot water. The place may seem a little old and outdated, but very clean and comfortable. The towels may be a little, dingy, but clean, much much better than the American inn and better than oil, which is in the same vicinity.

This past weekend we had to make an unexpected, last-minute trip to Kinder, Louisiana. It was a Sunday night, and due to the Coushatta Casino hotel being booked, we had to scramble to find lodging. The Kinder Inn popped up, so we booked it. The exterior of the hotel looked like it had been recently painted and the parking lot was well lit (a plus for us seniors). The hotel is family owned and run, and we think it’s important (especially in this financial climate) to support local “mom and pop” businesses. That being said, the good things were the room was exceptionally clean, and the bed and pillows were really comfortable! There was a mini-refrigerator and a microwave. On the “need improvement” side, there was no closet, the furniture was very dated, there was no coffee machine or bottled water provided and limited amenities. The room needs to be updated and painted but they’re doing the best they can with a huge renovation project. However, it was adequate for us, especially for the price and last-minute arrangements.

Looked like new floors were installed. Room was clean but the walls and doors need new painting. We were expecting much worse but it was a decent place to sleep. Just beware of the train, it passed at 3:00am blowing its horn and scared the daylights out of us. At least we could laugh about it the next day!

We had a King room and the bed was the most comfortable bed I have slept in. And surprisingly the comforter was much better than I have come to expect from most hotels.

Upon arrival we checked in 2 rooms 1 for my boys & 1 for me and my spouse & the lady that served us Amanda was amazing. After no Amanda the service was disappointedly unacceptable. I paid for a 3 night stay and I was the housekeeper for me and my boys room. There's hardly no housekeeping, both refrigerators didn't work, I had to get out for towels daily plus bath tissue. On the web it states there's a suite with a full kitchen plus rooms that's not true if they did before those hurricanes they need to remove them off the web being there's none their. It also states free breakfast there's none available not even coffee. Each time I needed something we had to ring a bell and take through a window. In kinder the only breakfast spots are McDonald's service their is horrible. They have breakfast at Sonic's other wise you have to go to the casino and pay $14 for eggs, grits, toast, & or bacon/sausage. Thank God for the bucket market grocery store it's the only reliable place to shop beside family dollar & dollar general. Getting bk to the rooms if you don't put your trash or dirty towels outside the door it's no inside service. Only 1 roll tissue was in the room had to walk to the desk and ask for a roll. It's the worst stay I've ever experienced in my life and it's just my opinion I should've been refunded some of my $$$ back for such horrible services.

They said pet friendly but the manager complained about my dog barking and made us move to a trashier room. The towes that were given to us werestained. And basically dirty and they chased me around asking about payment for their pet fee of $15 a day..Once I paid it the hot water was turned on before that it was only cold water running..The room had dead and aluve bugs in it and there was 2 dirty plateson top of the microwave from previous tennant..which means they dont clean or disinfect the rooms. When I asked for a refund the 1st night the rude ladyat the front said I would have to get it from expedia..ofcourse thats their scam..they get you stuck at that rat hole. Ifonot reccommend anyone ever staying here at all..Please go somewhere else!
