You get what you pay, don’t fall for the photo of the hotel and good review.

The property is in a very central location in Vientiane and there is a very nice small but pleasant swimming pool right in the front entrance area, which is something I enjoyed very much. It’s my second time staying here and I will definitely come back because the price is right, and the people are very friendly and helpful.

Very nice pool and nice room, basic ammenities but worked for us. They only have 3 bikes so it was hard to get one and we werent allowed to reserve it for the next day, luckily we had extra time to do it another day. For us it was not clear that breakfast wasnt included was the only thing to note and it was very expensive and same price for me with an egg allergy to only get a piece of bread as my husbands- if we had known we wouldve just eaten out or I could give him my eggs since we paid for them. If we had known it wasnt free (we expect a menu if its not included and shouldve checked booking but we are traveling long term and never had it offered this way), its not big deal just FYI for future guests and maybe staff can let people know since the cost was highest weve had in SE Asia. Staff was helpful in other ways and kind, offering to help us order pizza since we didnt have Laos number. At the end we did feel a little pushed out since we were by the pool until check out at 12, we were told time to check out at 11:50 so we felt like we were asked to leave though hopefully it wasnt meant this way.

I really enjoyed the ambiance. The pool and the pool area were lovely. The area is away from the riverside so there are not coffee shops and international restaurants everywhere. But there is a french restaurant quite near which i loved for breakfast, a seafood specialist place and of course plenty of local Lao restaurants. My room was comfortable and clean with excellent wifi. The staff were supernice and just get a translation app on your phone.

Nice place, fantastic view to the mountains, hospitable staff that speaks English, big rooms, a good breakfast buffet included (in our case), the room was not dirty nor sparkling clean, with air-cond., and a small fridge. All in all a nice plays to stay - you feel safe and sleep well.

Good location, large room and decent restroom. Wifi, A/C and TV very good.
For a budget Hotel it was better than I expected, The Front Desk attendant spoke very good English and was very attentive. He will book some tours or arrange for out of town bus tickets.

This is a very cozy hotel, in a good way. It is nice to be steps away from the pool, which is salt-water, instead of a journey away as with most other hotels. I usually stay at much more expensive hotels, but I was happy with my stay here, despite a few "blind eye" moments (an ant zoo on the floor and other minor horrors).

Helpful and kind staff.
In our room we had old air conditioning, noisy and dirty. In room was bad smell of humidity. Breakfast was good but didn’t included of rooms prize. Pool was nice, to adults because of deep.

Amazing value for money and a fantastic pool that was a welcome relief from the heat in Vientiene. I would definitely stay there again. Staff were friendly and eager to please.

Problems with cleaners. Room cleaned only twice in first week and afterward I had to clean own toilet. No bottled water many times. Always something missing. My partner was made to feel unwelcome by female staff.

Beautiful classic laotian style hotel with great architecture and good large swimming pool with plants around. Its a little bit far of center but cheap taxis and the hotel is quiet and confortable. If you want to be quiet and relaxing after hot visiting walking day or to stay some days for relaxing , its perfect.

This hotel is just not clean. The walls have cracks in them and are dirty the bathroom is very bad. I was afraid to turn on the light at night cause it would stir up the large amount of flying insects. The toilet and the sink both leak non stop. The aircon is cold. The wifi was decent to watch a movie. I am super low maintenance and don't like to complain so I stayed my entire 6 days. Just be aware it is not paradise.

Nice pool, quiet street, good location. Easy to get to from the airport. Take the bus for 19000 kip, get off at stop B10 and the walk from there is 5-10 mins. It was so nice to have a fridge in the room and aircon in the hot city! There’s also a water cooler in the main lobby so you can fill your water bottle and minimise plastic waste.

Only stayed here one night before going to Vang Vieng. Service before arrival was great, they organized airport pick up and bus tickets to Vang Vieng. The room was okay for one night, but the pillowcases had hair on them so I dont think they had been cleaned from the previous guest.

The owners were lovely, very friendly. The bedding hasn’t been washed and the bathrooms were dirty and smelt. We booked this hotel as it was advertised as having airport shuttle however this was not the case, they just ordered us a taxi. The swimming pool was nice.

I enjoyed my stay at Villa Sisavid. I was in Vientiane for the first time, doing a visa run, and hired a bicycle to get around, which I recommend doing.
The location is reasonably quiet but there are shops nearby for food, drinks, etc.
The pool is lovely and kept very clean, definitely a big plus! Sitting near the pool and having a drink at the end of the day was very relaxing.
The rooms are a little run down. The bed in particular was old and needs to be replaced with a new one.
The walls need a new coat of paint and some cracked tiles should be replaced.
I would say that with a little work done, Villa Sisavad could go to a 3.5 rating but at the moment it feels a little run down so I would give it 2.8
