Very secluded (loved it) area. Quiet. The pool was beautiful and clean. Rooms were very spacious and very clean. AC worked beautiful. Free washer and dryer. Landscape very nice and kept up.

This is a beautiful property with convenient amenities and a wonderful breakfast which you must contact the property directly to arrange. If you want the hot tub ready at your arrival you may also want to contact the property and specifically ask otherwise it takes about an hour to heat up after you turn it on. My family had a wonderful time.

Great experience overall. Bed was very soft, clean throughout room, and beautiful view from balcony. Water pressure in shower was strong but water couldn't get down drain quick enough so it did stand a little. Easy check in/out, friendly staff, and beautifully decorated for the season.

Nice owner/manager. You do not get breakfast with this property if you buy through Expedia or any other third party app. The interior of our room was not very clean. We had dead spiders in our bathroom and a baby bottle just under our bed. I don’t think the floor was vacuumed prior to our arrival. Other renters came and sat right outside our patio door super early and woke us up with their loud talking. They stopped when we opened the blinds to let them know we were there. Overall, good location.

I rented the pool house/cabana. I can't say enough about what a great experience this was! It definitely has a 60's vibe, but it's comfortable and clean. The property is very serene and quiet. The staff was super responsive and friendly. This is a true bed and breakfast, and the breakfast was amazing! It was brought out to the pool house fresh from the kitchen. I'm seriously trying to find reasons to go back to Uvalde just to have the excuse to stay here again.

I've never stayed at a B&B before and this was absolutely a joy for my first time! The room was magnificent, the breakfast each morning was hot and fresh and delicious, the staff was so friendly and overall, it was just amazing! Thank you Live Oaks!

I was in the Mustang room upstairs. The large home is where the family lives~ so keep that in mind as you will encounter normal family clutter such as shoes and socks around. The tub did not drain quickly and the bathroom sinks appeared not cleaned. The upstairs balcony was not swept. Pool area had OLD palm fronds all around which I picked up and put over the fence. The beautiful outdoor entryway had bird droppings and a tiny dead snake on the floor the entire time I was there. Truly the room was beautiful and the surroundings were entirely peaceful. Probably the outlying cottages are delightful just be aware that the rooms are part of a home.

My kids and I stayed at the Poolside Cabana. The stay was amazing. Very relaxing, quiet, safe and very comfortable. The young woman that dropped off our breakfast was very sweet and kind. The pool was nice and my son and I got to enjoy our it by ourselves. The owner/manager responded quickly to any questions I had. I will definitely stay there again. Thanks for making our stay so relaxing and comfortable.

Excellent property, very clean. Property manager Clarissa was very attentive and quick to respond to text, made everything clear and a smooth check in process. My family of 4 stayed in the “Big Lazy” 2 queen beds and a large bathroom. Plenty of room! Our kids enjoyed the swing, trampoline and nice clean pool.

Live Oaks is a beautiful property...very well maintained and wonderfully peaceful. The owner is 100% dedicated to customer service and satisfaction and was great to work with when I had a question about my bill. I would definitely recommend Live Oaks to anyone looking to stay in the Uvalde area as a relaxing and tranquil alternative to a hotel/motel...my daughter and I even saw a deer on the property!

I cannot tell you the joy and peace that we had staying at Live Oaks. The kids played in the yard, on the swing and climbed trees the whole time we were there. We watched deer while relaxing and drinking coffee in the mornings. They also helped us through a very difficult time. We originally stayed there because we were going to a wedding in Uvalde. That wedding turned out to be a tragic event where the bride and groom passed away on their honeymoon. Cara (the owner) treated us so well during our time of grief. She made us breakfast and Cara’s brother (Ryan) and his family brought us dinner. This is more than a business, this will be your family. I pray that the peace and the comfort that my family felt is passed to everyone that stays there. I would HIGHLY recommend Live Oaks Bed & Breakfast, It’s a home away from home!
