We had a wonderful time staying here. Cute and campy, its everything you'd want is a fun little mom and pop motel! Will stay here again. Loved how colorful our room was!

This is the cleanest hotel I have ever been in. The furnishings were dated, but in amazingly perfect condition. Room was large, beds very comfortable, large bathroom. Sink in the bathroom and in the main room. Parked directly in from of the first floor room. We were extremely happy with this motel and would highly recommend.

Upon first glance I dismissed this property, but was swayed back by the low cost & high reviews. So glad we gave it a chance - this was a great property that is meticulously maintained. At checkout we had the pleasure of meeting the owner and hearing the story of the motel and its history. Definitely a great place for a stay on our trip through the state.

We had the pleasure of staying with the Cedars Hotel in Ironwood Michigan. The room was clean, comfortable and nice sized. We enjoyed the retro fixtures of blue and red. The decorating was a reminder of a past relaxing era, while being well kept. We highly recommended this Hotel. Wish i had snapped a few photos.

I had the clean clean really clean room. Check in is 3:00 pm I got there 10:55 pm. Room was ready super peaceful. Only negative is 10 am check out.

This was the cleanest motel we have seen in a long time!!! It’s family owned and you can tell they take pride in it- it looked like it was painted yesterday, not a scuff mark anywhere- spotless, comfortable bed and loved the retro character left from days gone by. We’ll definitely stay again👍👍

This place is fantastic. It’s the perfect place to unwind after adventures. The rooms are spacious and the beds are comfy. Then there’s the staff. They couldn’t be nicer or more helpful. I look forward to my next stay here.

We have stayed in this hotel in the past. Once again a fun, brightly colored blast from the past experience. Super clean, great beds, friendly staff. The price is right, too for this spacious standard king room. You will not be disappointed!

So normally, I'd never stay at a motel. Cleanliness followed by comfort are my number one and two reasons. After reading the extremely positive reviews, I figured I'd give it a shot since I was just passing thru on my way to Copper Harbor and needed a place to lay my head. The reviews were accurate and did not disappoint. Very clean room. Comfy beds. It is like stepping back in time, but somehow in a great way. Met the owner in the morning in the office. Gracious lady that works very hard to make the place what is. Do not hesitate to give her your business! Next time I pass thru Ironwood Michigan, I won't even look at other places to stay. Cedars will be my go to! Thank you!

Classic roadside Motel. Super clean rooms, and best value for money. Staff was also very accommodating. Would absolutely recommend the place. Only thing worth mentioning is that it gives off an 80s vibe, which was absolutely fine for us.

This was a great drive up motel to stay in! Everyone we encountered at the front desk was so friendly. We had a king suite room. It was very spacious. The room was very clean. The bathroom did not provide a hair dryer. No biggie! The room had a microwave and frig. There was a seating area outside right off the parking lot to sit and relax. I definitely recommend staying here!

This hotel was clean and well maintained. I will definately stay here in the future. There is a large yard area. The location is conveniently off Hwy 2 and close to everything in the area. Nice owners and staff.

I had a great second stay at the Cedars Motel. The room and bedding was clean and simple enough for a two night stay. The only drawback was that the office staff was only open between 3pm and 7pm - the office staff was accommodating and cheerful but it was challenging to reach the office staff after 7pm. I would recommend the Cedars, however and will return again.
