Very noisy construction across the street. No fault of the hotel, just saying

The hotel has a beautifully decorated lobby and excellent customer service. The room was small but cozy and comfortable. Bed was comfortable. The linens smelled clean and inviting. I will say that the shower was a bit dirty and the shower head wasn’t functioning very well - the extended shower head wasn’t functioning at all. There was a small cutout hole on the wall that was open and creeped me out a bit. Overall though, the hotel experience was good.

I new parking wasn't included but I didn't know it was valet only.
Employees are nice and friendly!

We were in town for the Joni Jam at the Hollywood Bowl.
This was the perfect location It was a friendly and casual setting..Easy acsess to the Dolby Theatre.(City Sight seeing bus). Good restaurant recommendations from the front desk. It has a great bar , with lots of comfortable seating areas. We would definetly recommend it.

This hotel is fantastic. The decor is soothing, modern and yet very comfortable. The staff were friendly and solicitous. The location is great, central but still quiet.

The hotel was clean and comfortable, but watch out for the hidden fees. Upon check in, we were informed of a $35 "Amenities Fee" which they also called the "Resort Fee". This was a mandatory fee that included a certain number of copies run, one free drink in the bar, a $15 credit to the restaurant and a bunch of other stuff that didn't matter to anyone.
Additionally, in order to make the television work in the room we needed to log in to Google TV and take that charge as well, including the over-the-air TV.
And then there is parking..... $65 per night plus tip for the valet.
None of this was included in the info on the website.

Check in was easy and the Champagne didn't hurt after driving in traffic. From the hotel, it was an easy walk to dinner and the Pantages. We slept great and the noon check out was great too. Breakfast at the hotel was delicious too!

All good, just beware on- site parking plus all junk fees and taxes added $120/nt. To the Expedia price

Parking not free, and only valet. It’s a hassle calling for your car and not being able to go and get it on your own. Not to mention valet rate is almost equivalent to hotel rate per night and that was for two nights.

The view of Hollywood sign and the space was very roomy. We would come back here.

Loved the hotel and the location. Just need more lights in the rooms.

This was my second time staying here and I would definitely come back. The staff was incredibly friendly, informative and hospitable. I love the ambience, as well as the sort of community that congregates near the bar for wine/champagne tastings and finger foods. The only area which could use improvement, albeit minor, is the maintenance of the men’s bathroom by the bar. I was there for 9 days and I’m pretty sure it wasn’t cleaned once. The same stains below the urinal collected to the point you leave with sticky shoes. Other than that, my stay was very pleasant and would still recommend it to to people.

We have an incredible experience every time we visit the hotel. The staff, food and ambiance is amazing! Highly recommend the hotel!

Charge $65 per night for valet. No self parking available.

The hotel was lovely, as was the staff. The pool was small and we didn’t get a chance to use it because the chairs were all taken. Not the hotel’s fault that the pool was small, though. Next time I’ll know to get to the pool earlier.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The bar and restaurant were quite good. The area around the hotel was a little sketchy, but I understand that this is the reality for this part of Hollywood.

We enjoyed being able to bring our dog.

Nice lobby. Dirty rooms. Had to move rooms and the second wasn't any better. Definitely not what I expect from a Kimpton property in terms of cleanliness. And I shouldn’t be in the room of a four star hotel afraid to touch things because I feel like everything is dirty. The night valet was also very rude letting it be known how inconvenient it was for him that everyone came back at the same time of night with their cars. I’m paying almost $67 a night to park my car there, I should be able to bring it back whenever I happen to come back without the terrible attitude. The daytime valets were awesome though so at least it was just limited to the one person and not all of them.

It was a great stay and the service was perfect. The beds were just a bit too firm. The room was great the ceilings looked a bit rough a bit unfinished. Overall, I’d stay here again

We were in for the weekend for a concert at The Hollywood Bowl.
We found the hotel to be very nice, the social hour gets you a couple of free drinks, there were other snacks/candy put out during the day and tasty fruit/mint water available in the lobby.
We were able to walk down Hollywood Boulevard to a nearby In-N-Out Burger, and also back from the Hollywood bowl after the concert with no trouble.
There is a CVS, Dunkin’ and an awesome record store two blocks away.
The hotel staff was all very friendly, the valet’s were excellent, although the $60 parking fee is pretty steep. Those guys literally run to get your car though, we never waited more than three minutes for our vehicle.
The beds were fine, and white linens looked very clean And even though the 101 runs right outside the hotel, the room was very quiet. We were on the “city side“ though.
We did not use the pool. The deck area looked nice, but we could see a film on the top of the water that caused us to stay away.
The JaneQ restaurant makes a great pizza and was not busy at all.
The best part, the shower was amazing. Great water pressure, super hot, and really nice shampoo/conditioner/body wash products. No gimmicky rainfall showerhead, just a standard adjustable showerhead placed at a good height.
We would definitely stay here again!

The Everly is always a nice place to stay every time we have to visit our child at school in Hollywood. The bar is always always fun and we love the living room. It’s a good vibe.

It has good walkable access to stars and Chinese theatre etc. you can see the Hollywood sign but sadly on the other side of the building anc not poolside which it looks like in photos. Staff is great and you can txt what you need. They check on you everyday.

Property was nice… some of the finishes in the room seemed a bit “worn” expected the rooms to be more polished

The staff were very polite and happy to help. The hotel was clean and has a fully equipped gym, a relaxing and clean pool area, and has nice perks (fully stocked in-room spa-like bathrooms, robes for guests' use, flavoured water in the lobby, and coffee every morning.)

Pool area was great! The restaurant was very good with friendly staff.

Lobby area is really nice. Food and drinks are good. However, the surroundings are a bit rundown; lots of homelessness. Also, my daughter left her iPods in the room and now they are missing. Not sure I would stay here again.
8.0
Lovely property however, a little more TLC to maintenance would be great. A few examples, safety hand bar and shower and cap bent and hanging large crack in sink and drain holes were extremely dirty. All edges of room were dirty and definitely in need of vacuuming. However, the carpet areas were clean.

Everyone was great, the front desk, the bartenders, the housekeeping staff, as well as the Valets. They all treated us like family and that just doesn’t happen like it should sometimes.

It was nice.

Not happy at all. Make sure to check the bill during checkout. They imposed lot of hidden fee that we were unaware. Room service is ridiculously slow. Not going back here ever again

Quality decreasing and staff are unattentive
