I cannot say enough good things about our stay at Urban Stripes. Our stay was enjoyable and effortless. We had clear communication with our host the whole time. We landed in Athens around 0900. Our check in time wasn’t until 1400, but we received a message from our host the day before that we could leave our bags at the hotel once we arrived so we could explore Athens without them while we waited for our room to be ready. We received a call as soon as our room was ready (about an hour before our official check in time). When we arrived our host gave us a map with sights on it that’s common for tourist, she took the time to highlight areas and routes that we should take and areas to avoid! The room itself was great! It was VERY clean and VERY spacious for the two of us. It was a 2 level apartment with a living area, kitchen, dinning room table, balcony, and restroom downstairs. Upstairs was the bedroom, closet hallway that lead to the restroom with a shower and toilet, and an additional balcony! The location was extremely convenient as well. We were just enough out of the super crowded area that our room was quiet but a quick 5 minute power walk to the area surrounding the acropolis with all the cute shops and delicious restaurants. 10/10 would recommend Urban Stripes to anyone staying in the Athens! I would book here in a heartbeat when I return!

Had an excellent one night stay in the two bedroom family maisonette! By European accommodation standards it was very big and very nicely appointed. It is located in a great spot, we were able to check-in early and were helped by a very friendly receptionist who ensured we were settled and helped us with advice on how to get around Athens. Communication prior to check-in was excellent, and they were very helpfully able to accommodate two extra guests in the apartment for a small fee. Would definitely stay again next time we visit!

This is a beautiful new property with a great view! Centrally located with all the benefits of being near the sites without the noise and hassle usually seen in a popular area. Easy access to metro station and easy for taxis to find. This is the perfect location to launch your tour of Athens and beyond. The staff is amazing! Airline lost our luggage for 3 days and Alex really helped us navigate this headache. And since we were away on tours most days, they made sure our bags were delivered to our room and communicated the status throughout. I have nothing but positive things to say about Urban Stripes! Book here, you won’t regret it.

We're a family of 4 with two teenagers and stayed in a Acropolis Maisonette, Acropolis View room at Urban Stripes Athens. It was everything we expected - clean, comfortable and cool on hot summer days. Being able to see the 2,400-year old Parthenon lit up at night from our room was pretty special. Location was good - close to Plaka, the Acropolis Museum and plenty of local dining options. Concierge Maria recommended Kalamaki Bar (less than 5-minute walk) and it did not disappoint. Delicious Greek food. The area is safe and the building is secure. We would stay here again. Recommend.

I don’t usually write reviews but I cannot say enough good things about this property! We stayed on 6/F and the view of the Acropolis was to die for, especially during night time. The staff Anna and Maria were more than helpful, always went above and beyond to help and make us feel comfortable. Location couldn’t have been better - walking distance from the Acropolis and restaurants, allowing us to take a break in the middle of the day to escape from the heat before we set off again. I would definitely highly recommend this property to anyone who is visiting Athens!!!

It was my Fiancés birthday and our engagement anniversary so we stayed at the penthouse as it overlooks the acropolis and has a spa on the roof. It was great, modern, clean and very nicely appointed. We work in yachting so our expectations are high and this did not disappoint! There was plenty of good coffee laid on and a bottle of complimentary wine which was a nice touch. Very friendly and professional handling of the booking and check in, full marks and thank you for a wonderful stay in the hub of Athens.

I cannot say enough about this property. I stayed here with my family (2 adults and 2 teens) and we had a fabulous time here. The view of the Acropolis at night from here was unbeatable. The location is fabulous with a 5-10 minute walk to the Acropolis metro and to the Acropolis museum and the Acropolis. The best thing about this place is the staff. Alex went out of his way to drop off a personal item that I had left behind to drop it off to my friend a little drive away. I cannot thank him enough for going above and beyond his normal responsibilities to do this for his guests. I am very appreciate of this and I hope the staff at Urban Stripes recognizes a good employee like him. Maria was great as well helping us check in with a warm hospitable smile and Anna was our main person helping us with all our pre-travel arrangements. Kudos to the staff at Urban Stripes. We will definitely stay here again and recommend them highly to whoever is visiting..

We booked the Acropolis Suite on the 5th floor for 3 nights for our family of 5. It was the perfect place for us to spread out and relax. We had family staying on the 2nd floor who were happy with their suite as well. The apartment was conveniently located to cafes, bakeries, restaurants, markets and the Acropolis. It was clean and as pictured. The stairs to the downstairs bedroom don’t have a handrail so we were extra careful with our toddler. All in all, it was a great stay for our first visit to Athens and we would not hesitate to stay again!
