From arrival with the doorman to front desk check in to restaurants, to the centrality to what we needed this hotel is unmatched for friendly attentive service. The room was clean, modern and a beautiful view. The breakfast restaurant, Honey Salt, was spacious and had a great menu and service. The Victor restaurant on the 5th floor was an incredible dining experience made even better by the suggestions of our incredible server Christopher. Would highly recommend this hotel!!!

Had a wonderful stay there. Even though it was short I felt everyone was very helpful. Only wish because I was in a convention that they extended my late checkout to even later as carrying my luggage around was just inconvenient.

Everyone we interacted with was very friendly and helpful, from the front desk to concierge to the lounge folks. Rooms were spacious and clean. Great location, steps to the ferries to Granville Island. Excellent overall experience. Would definitely stay again.

Great property! Great location!
A couple of things... we received 2 for 1 coupons to use at the 24/7 casino restaurant. Absolute chaos! Staff had no idea how to accept them leading to a 30 minute wait at the till to receive our food. Also, imagine a casino with no free coffee...bizarre...
The ridiculous charge of $50 to self park is insane!

Great property, very accessible to events. Expensive and parking is outrageously expensive. $50 for self parking!

I did not like Honey and Salt, on site restaurant. It was a disappointment. It did not align with the standard of the hotel. Also, some of the staff, particularly in the lounge, were somewhat concealed in the space on their phone. I found that disrespectful.

We had a very nice stay at this hotel. Very friendly employees. The hotel was very well maintained and loved the water front so close. Too short of stay, we’ll have to come back again!

The room was clean & spacious. However, the service was poor. The first night the hotel hairdryer and it wasn’t working so I called the front desk. 1/2 an hour later I was still waiting. I called down once again and was told my request “was put on a list” but that it would be expedited. 20 mins later and still nothing. I happened to open the door to see if they’d left it outside and saw a staff member and asked her as well. 10 mins later and I was able to finally get the dryer. If I hadn’t seen the staff member I don’t know how long it would have taken. Note that my family and I were going out to dinner so to have an hour delay for something that should have been resolved easily was frustrating. I’ve had to make similar requests at other (much cheaper) hotels and have never experienced such a lag. The next day, we went left the hotel in the morning and got back at around 5pm. Our room hadn’t been serviced yet and we had no towels. I can honestly say I’ve never been to a hotel where by 5pm the room wasnt serviced. I realized that it was likely because they only wanted to service once at turn down (not twice). Interestingly, the rooms in our floor that had the “privacy please” door hangers had a note on them saying “I’m sorry we couldn’t service your room to respect your ask for privacy…”. So the staff clearly visited the floor…they just didn’t service the rooms that actually wanted servicing. If you want to be a higher-end hotel, don’t cut corners. Not worth the $$$ AT ALL.

Lack of soundproofing was an issue. Rooms and hotel are lacklustre for the price.

Excellent service from staff and it's a beautiful property that is kept up very well. We didn't have a car as everything is walkable. Many great dining experiences on this property. This was not our 1st stay at this property and we will stay again.

Sad to see homelessness and drug use, person had a shoe box with a needle and some type of vial, all within walking distance from hotel, but it’s a beautiful hotel and yes I’d visit again.

Be prepared to pay extra for internet as it is not included in the price. Our room had a fault with the lights which they were unable to rectify and caused issues during the night, we then had water pouring down from above us onto a glass roof outside our window which was like a very loud waterfall interrupting sleep. $900 for one night was very expensive when we did not even get a good nights sleep $50 given to compensate!!

Nice hotel lobby and areas . Rooms are older and dated beds are not comfy . Usually stay at paradox which is alot nicer and newer and larger rooms feel alot cleaner and more up to date .

We visited for two nights to meet up with old friends and see a soccer match. The first night was great, as the hotel and its staff were performing beautifully.
The second was a nightmare when a group of loud partiers entered the adjoining room at 3 am and would not quiet down despite several calls to security. We could not sleep as their music and shouting was just too loud. With over 24 hours of travel ahead of us to Europe, we left the hotel exhausted. The front desk staff sheepishly apologized for the disturbance but said the group next door was in a VIP unnumbered room and not cooperative with security’s requests to be quieter. They offered enough Marriott point to book the hotel for one night in the future, but after my long day of travel that seemed inadequate. It took me a couple days to feel like myself again.

Surprised that there were no drinks in the bar/mini fridge. There was only one sink in the bathroom. The staff was very friendly.

The beds and the linens were fantastic- also the shower (the sprayers and the pressure) was the best of any hotel - I was next to the elevator and yet it could not hear a sound - totally quiet
