Lovely quiet place on the beach

We liked the location as it felt secluded . We found next door was loud over the night however. The staff were very friendly !

Very nice spacious room with sea view. A short walk down the beach but very peaceful and relaxing.Very nice view and they have great food. They could use some work on the drinks but all in all the staff is wonderful and want you to enjoy your stay.

It’s a small resort which I like,it’s quiet not crowded,our room was big enough for 2 the bathroom was huge with garden view.I recommend you book a room with the ocean view,all the food we ordered was good! The staff was friendly,attentive specially Kim & Lovely from the front desk. The beach was fantastic!!you can relax at their lounge chairs while having your drinks.the only drawback was the property has no direct access from the street,you have to go thru another beach resort parking & pay (don’t worry they’ll reimburse you for the entrance fee)then you have to walk about 10 minutes along the beach to villa umi.Alona beach is about 15minutes ride from the hotel,airport 20 minutes.overall it was a great experience!!thanks villa umi!! The staff made our stay memorable. They always went above and beyond, showed hospitality at its finest. I recommended this place to my friends.

We stayed in the property for four days—the place is beautiful and clean that my toddler calls it “our other house” -when we reached home my toddler said I want to go to “our other house” The staff were all amazing. I’ve never seen such teamwork in doing their jobs. They were all very hospital and accommodating that my mom said she misses the staff . She was sad to leave the property :) Overall we had a great and relaxing vacation. Again, thank you to all the amazing staff who made our stay a wonderful experience. The

Beautiful beach and quiet area

Perfectly located directly on Dumaluan beach but requires full mobility to access it in a small pick up truck. This small hotel offers a personal experience with a wide breakfast choice served at your table (no buffet). The staff are very attentive to all your needs. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Aircon was good.Only issue was that there wasnt a road to the property.. We had to park at Dimuluan Beach and have our bags carried over to the hotel.. Nevertheless the stay at the hotel was worth it.

Villa Umi is certainly the best Boutique Hotel in the area. I had planned to go to Boracay for the white sand and crystal blue water, but due to the closure I had to look elsewhere. I’m quite honestly glad that I had gone to Panglao, but Villa Umi made my experience most enjoyable. First, the location is perfect for those looking for a quiet getaway. I stayed for a week, and what I enjoyed most about the location was the proximity to the beach. I had room 5 on the ground floor which meant I could literally open my door and 3 feet in front of me was the white sand and crystal blue water I was dreaming of. The connection between the hotel and the beach felt like I had my own private beach! In combination with the low foot traffic, it made for quite peaceful moments relaxing in the sun. They also serve as a restaurant, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. The food was delicious, of quality, and well presented. They also offered variety, from traditional Filipino dishes, to Western options like a cheeseburger and fries. I also enjoyed their fresh mango shakes! What truly makes Villa Umi the best is the service, which I found to be top of the line. I had just flew in from a 5 star hotel in Manila (Fairmont Makati), and found how the quality of service was paralleled although Villa Umi isn’t rated as prestigious. Because there are only 5 rooms, the staff went above and beyond. Thank you Villa Umi, I sincerely can’t wait for my return and wish you all the best!!!

Photos of views in expedia are accurate but needs updated pictures. Overall, very good experience with the hotel. Cost of hotel room is worth the stay. One quirk that needs to be addressed is the transportation to and from the hotel. Hotel needs to provide transport and to and from hotel

Fatima from the reception works really hard to make sure you are taken care of. Bryan one of the servers also makes us happy everytime. The hotel restaurant is the best around. The free use of the canoe is a welcome bonus. Great hotel overall.

Nice hotel. Great staff. Even better food from the hotel restaurant. Came during monsoon season so the beach was not so nice. Lots to do around if you rent the van or tricycle. There is currently no road going directly to the hotel. You have to do a 5 min walk on the beach and through other private properties. Welcome drink upon arrival was a nice touch. We got room no.5 on the ground floor. It’s a small room but clean and comfortable. Pillows are soft but could be bigger. Bathroom though is a little let down. Dirty grouts. For the price you would expect better condition. Otherwise, I have no problem recommending the hotel. I would come back again.

Villa Umi was So Good!!!! All of them were so excellent... a clean room, a beautiful view, services, food, and so on... All the employees looked like professional and nice. I can say that if you don't choose Villa Umi to stay, you have to try their restaurant... I bet, you would love them!! Also, they offer a free transportation to the pier or the airport. So it works for you to talk about their services before making a plan.

Small, quiet and peacefull hotel just right on the amazing beach. Staff is friendly and helpful.
