The property overall was pretty clean but there was a blue stain on the mattress but i didnt complain since the sheets appeared to be clean and that probably wouldnt come out easily. The rest of the room was clean. There was no refrigerator or television, but i was only there for one night for the full moon party. My room wasnt on the beach but was very close and walkable. I was charged a security deposit i was told in case i lose the key which I did not. They refused to return my deposit due to a very small blood stain on the sheet from a cut i received on my leg that they claimed was body paint. I only had bodypaint on my left arm and none of it was red and nowhere near where the stain was. I was never informed of this policy and i feel they are just trying to rip people off and get every cent they can out of you. I will never return and i will make sure to tell everyone i know not to stay there.

Rooms nice and air conditioning worked well. Showers were hot. Stayed in A1 so it was a bit loud at night, but we were warned by the staff prior which was appreciated. Staff very friendly and accommodating! Didn’t have our room cleaned while we were there for 3 nights but able to get water daily and clean towels and TP at the house keeping area which was fine for us.

No deep bath in a seperate bathroom as advertised. Gap under door so the room was full of insects. We checked out after the first night early and the hotel refused to refund us even though they clearly sold the room again woth no problem as it was the nye party. Very dissapointed.

The floors were dirty, the fridge didn’t work which is unfortunate when it’s 95 degrees outside, the air conditioning remote didn’t work so I had to climb onto the desk to turn it on, the bathroom was so dark I had to use my flashlight to shower and the shower floor was dirty and something I found strange was the bathroom had a lock on the outside so you could be locked in the bathroom.

Expedia sucks as a platform . They just list properties now . The pictures , reviews everything is misleading . I will take Expedia to consumer court for this . Worst experience ever , dirty , ants , shoddy , unsafe , rude staff . The place is worse than a run down motel . Location is horrible . Don’t use Expedia and burn your money on this property . Everything is horrible . This should be closed for safety reasons and being a health hazard for inhospitable conditions .

So this hotel gave me mixed feeling. The location is perfect. They're not lying when they say they're in the heart of the fullmoon party. It was a party every night basically. The hotels restaurant is also amazing. They have really good food and drinks... The bungalows themselves were definitely needing some upgrades. There's literally no sound proofing or insulation. You basically can hear everything just as if there were no walls at all. The door didnt have a good seal on it and there was a significant size gap at the bottom of the door where bugs and other things could easily get in. And in the bathroom there was lots of cracks and little holes and gaps where you could see led outside... i was terrified that spiders were going to be there, but i never saw one. There were some cockroaches that came into the bathroom, which freaked me out, but i never saw them in my actual room. Also management quickly sprayed my bungalow for bugs and that seemed to help some. The other bad thing is the bed. It's the hardest bed I've ever slept on. I had to sleep on the comforter just for extra cushion and i literally got bruises on my hips from sleeping on my side and it would hurt my butt just laying down too long lol. Its definitely not the nicest place, but the location is what is the best part of this hotel. Like you literally could not ask for a better location if you're looking to be right on the beach and looking to party. I'd bring ear plugs because theres loud music everynight.

I didn’t know I was staying on the party side of the island, which was very loud, lots of music through the night which made it hard to sleep. I ended up leaving early to go to a quieter spot on the island, but overall if you’re looking for a party area this is probably a good option. No specific complaints, just not my style.

We booked this to be close to the full moon party.
However, what we didn’t realize was that leading up to the party the bar next door would be pumping music until 3 or 4 am every night. So there would be no sleeping before those times.
The management was helpful about helping to book things . What I will say though is the manager can be difficult at times depending on her mood.
The place overall was nice and the bar staff were friendly and the food was reasonably priced.
If you are staying for the full moon party it’s great. If not then I suggest you stay somewhere further out from the beach. Everywhere in town is only a 10 min walk to the beach.
Also something to be aware of . The night of the party if you are out walking the edge of the city around 8pm they close off the streets. So you have to pay 200 baht to get back into the main part of the city, even if that is where you are staying . So stick to the city centre to not be gouged.

The owner was so kind and helpful and had an honest smile that made you feel incredibly comfortable and welcome! The only downside was the shaking of the cabins until 6/7am most days due to the beach parties however we had anticipated this and booked a relaxing retreat on another island to catch up on our sleep! 100% would go back!

Decent resort, clean and close to the beach. However staff disregarded our ' do not disturb' request and came in to clean the room. Also, do not stay there if you want good night sleep- late night parties on the beach last till 3 am.

I’ll start off with cockroaches, found a huge one in there and they said they would come spray the room just to find more later that day. The place looked gross when we got in, it was a literal sauna the second you got in there. There are little signs everywhere saying what you owe if you break anything. Bathroom has holes in the wall so big insects and little lizards can get in. Bathroom always filled with moisture do to leaky pipes. Don’t go here unless these things don’t bother you.

The property was nothing like the pictures on Expedia. The property was extremely outdated, we woke up to no power and extremely hot, bed was VERY hard, the door locks were padlocks. We had 2 nights booked but after the first night and having no power, I went to ask about cancelling the second night. I explained that the room was nothing like the pictures and that they should update photos to show the bungalows. The lady at the front had the nerve to say she shows the good not the bad in photos. They are not truthful whatsoever. She would not refund us the second night and we left anyways. DO NOT STAY HERE

Thai family-run budget resort. Good value for money. Clean and has all basic amenities. Directly at the beach front = daily party 5PM - 5AM. Bring earplugs! Has a double dozen of budget bungalows at crawling distance from the beach. One (1) bungalow is literally at the beach with direct views to sunrise and full moon. The owner / family is lovely and service-oriented. Regardless how you show up at breakfast, they always welcome you with a smile ;-). Good Thai and international breakfast / lunch / dinner. Would definitely recommend.

Where do I start! Awful......We paid over £100 per night as we had been travelling for 2 weeks so wanted a bit of luxury We booked a bungalow on the beach purposely as we we going to the full moon party so wanted to be close if we decided it was too much for us. How disappointed were we on arrival, not in the beach room bungalow was small, dated boiling hot on arrival, no wardrobe or anywhere to hang any clothes other than a few hangers jun on coat hooks. The bathroom was old dated and nearly as big as the bed area (weird)There are sheets put up all over the walls with prices if you break anything I.e. soap dispenser, sheets, towels, fridge, and so it goes on. Bed was ok not the most comfortable! Curtains had fag holes stained and didn’t block the light out al all.Really bad noise from the road, clubs and the beach bars we expected it on the full moon party and we we’re right even with ear plugs it was unbearable- then the next night was a rave close by so I literally didn’t get a wink of sleep for 2 days. Not to forget to mention there is a bird in the trees outside that constantly the only was I can describe it as a wolf whistle! it’s relentless. Beach was about 1 mins walk through the resort to the beach bar which then led on to the beach so was very close just not what it’s sold as! There is literally 2 Bungalows that are on the beach front,There is a fridge, 1 plug socket hanging from the ceiling which was not ideal. I’ve ran out of room to carry on anymore

You can get a tuk tuk to the property from the ferry it is a 30 minute drive but only 100BAHT per person. The huts are right on the beach and on the main strip of bars and restaurants. If you walk into haadrin a little bit and away from the strip food and drink is cheaper. The lady in reception is lovely and very helpful. The huts are right on the beach so if you want quiet accommodation do not stay here, loud music plays until very late. Great location for the full moon party, two minute walk from the beach.

They refused to let us cancel. Its not a good place to book.

Hotel is situated directly on Haadrin beach, perfect location to enjoy all Full Moon party festivities. Room was clean with large comfort bed and breakfast was good ( perhaps could have more choices for the free breakfast)

DO NOT GET A FAN ROOM. Upon check-in, the front desk almost laughed when telling us that we were in a fan room with no aircon. While it was our fault for booking, it was clear from the managers reaction that she knew we were in for a miserable stay. 110 F temps, the bathroom felt like an oven. When asking if we were able to cancel our last night there (2 nights after Full Moon), we were still told no. Our neighbors had the same experience but we were told wildly different rates if we wanted to cancel our room and rebook an aircon room.

Way too expensive for what it offers. You can find cheaper and better in Thailand and in the Island in general.
Had high expectations according to price but was very disappointed.

Rooms were basic but clean, good plave to stay if YOU want to be on the party scene, not so good for familys or people looking for a bit of a rest, partying the odd night is good bit not gor 14 nights

We picked the front beach room because of the full moon party. Also to have a beach access from our room. that was great and we really enjoyed the service from the hotel.

We had wonderful holidays in Haadrin resort. Good comfort, perfect location. We asked for bungalows far from the noise and were not to bothered by everynights parties. Personal is amazingly nice, helpful and welcoming, especially 2 ladies in restaurant. Breakfast was good, fresh fruit juices.
Only thing, don't let anything outside your door at night, my son's shoes were stolen.
Though we really enjoyed our staying, will surely go back.

The only reason we stayed here was because it is a very good location for the full moon party. We payed a lot of money and it definitely was not worth it. First impressions were not good. The little shack was dark, dingy, smelly and dirty. The room was full of cockroaches, on our first night I got awoken by one crawling on my arm. We spent as little time possible in the ‘shack’ as it was just horrendous. The bathroom was ok. The whole place just needs updating. Do not stay here unless you are going to the full moon and intend on spending as little time as possible in the room :)

The haadrin resort is a little gem as it is a cozy and private area in the middle of the busiest part of the city. Be aware that you are on ground levels and in an area where there might be a few bugs, but this place I would highly recommend. Confy, the kitchen food is great, the staff are unbelievably nice, and the beach and anything you need from stores are seconds away.

Great, cheap place on the beach. My room was back from the beach so quiet at night in case the music is something that bothers you. Friendly staff. It's in a good location since you can walk to the beach parties and all of the restaurants and bars in Haad Rin pretty quickly. I will always try and stay here when I visit Haad Rin.

Amazing hotel and service. Right on the beach. Clean and professional. We stayed in the 6 bed room qih 6 people. Nice beds. A little bit cramped space but for the price you pay and location can't ask for better. Ideal for a group of friends going to the full moon party.

This place is the PERFECT location for a full moon party. It’s literally right on Haadrin Beach - 20 steps and I was on the beach. Breakfast was included, which was a bonus. I thought the staff was very nice and helpful. I can’t say enough good things about this place, especially if you’re in town for a FMP. Great all around!
