It was only ok. I expected it to look like the photos. They never do.

This is definitely the place to stay to get that Route 66 feeling. Park right outside your room, and enjoy plenty of entertainment on the tv or fast wifi. Most importantly, enjoy the nicely cleaned room.

our room could use some major cleaning, especially the bathroom. oof!

I stopped in told him that it wouldn't come and date my truck and trailer that I needed a refund and called Expedia Expedia tried calling them they said they couldn't get a hold of them so they was not going to refund my money poor business as far as I'm concerned would not stay there

Great little motel. Very comfortable and accommodating. Chairs outside of room to sit and listen to the train and relax. They kept the rooms almost 100% original.

Excellent hotel! We were in the James Dean room during our Route 66 trip. Area to sit outside. Lovely staff. Room a little dated but clean, we deliberately chose to stay here given its appearance and within Route 66.

Charming and very convenient place to stay.

Pretty disappointing stay. Turned up right on 3pm to find the office closed and no one about, so I just wandered around until the clerk showed up with his little dog who wouldn't stop barking at me (and even tried to nip me). The carpark needs to be completely resurfaced with the parks redrawn - they're all over the place. The room was fine but felt small & cluttered, and the floor was badly warped. The train was loud, but nowhere near as bad as Mountain Home ID, so at least I could sleep. Best thing about the place was the classic Dr Who channel.

It's an old Route 66 motel that hasn't been renovated in a while. It was clean but a bit noisy as it's not far from the railway. The bed was confortable.

I liked the look and feel of the property. It had a lot of route 66 themes and such including the ac temp being set at 66 which was a little funny. My only complaint is that they could maybe use some better pillows and some better curtains for blocking sunlight. Other than that it's a good place to sleep than hit the road again early morning

I was catfished! This place was nasty! Mouse traps under sinks. I even saw a cockroach on the wall. We left shortly after checking in and never came back! We enjoy visiting little known places like this. The clerk was busy playing video games and took forever coming out to help, even his dog was barking at me and he didn't come out

It was an old property but had been updated. I had booked it because it was iconic on Route 66. It was a comfortable night's stay and we got what we paid for. I wasn't looking for luxury, and I stayed there based on the price and the artfutlness of the place.

The floors are uneven and that made me a bit dizzy. That is something that they can't do anything about. They claim to be sparkling clean but the bathroom fixture was grubby, as was the wall around the light switch. Also their outside sign has half the lights out and that does not make a good impression.

Unfortunately trains were passing in the vinicity and we heard loud horn signals almost every half hour during the night, waking us up.

Brads was great. It’s older and small but we were very comfortable. Everything was clean. We stayed in the James Dean room. Trains go by frequently but the owner has ear plugs. She was a delight as well. I would stay there again.

If you are looking for luxury this is not the place. But if you are passing through and just need a place to lay your head and grab a shower in the morning before you take off this place will do. This place is very old but it functions. It looked clean, bed was comfortable. Microwave, fridge were new-ish. AC and the shower worked - (water was hot, good pressure.)
People were very nice.
The only real concern was the train tracks right next door. The train woke me up in the middle of the night briefly.
I stayed here because it was the cheapest place I could find. It did the job for the price.

Old time motel. reminder of Rt 66 days.
Ear plugs offered at check in due to frequent train noise nearby.
10.0 / 10.0
Ear plugs were provided at check in. Trains in back run all might. Be prepared.

The rooms are cute and comfortable. The trains at night take a bit of getting used to! Otherwise, fine and a good value.

We are deep sleepers so train noise didn’t bother us but it woke me up in the morning!! It is a great place to spend the night if you are deep sleeper!! Bed is comfortable and clean!! I would prefer floor is cleaner!! Rest is as same as any other hotels!

While the folks here worked hard to make this little motel clean and comfortable, they are working with an older building that hasn't been renovated much. It is not as bright and cute as the pictures. Still, there is a terrific Mexican restaurant within walking distance and if you like trains, you get to hear a lot of them very close by

It's an old Route 66 motel, don't expect some modern facility with large rooms. It's small. And I don't want to hold it against the facility, but there is a train track right behind it, and trains went by all night every 30 minutes or so, if you are a light sleeper consider ear plugs or you won't get much sleep.

We loved Brads Desert in. It was very clean. The bed was incredibly comfortable. We highly recommend and would stay again if in the area.

The hotel was very cute and the beds were comfortable, but the bathroom could really use a new sink with a counter or some sort of table or somewhere to put toiletries. We had to move the towels off the shelf and use that, as there was absolutely no room on the sink area. The trains were noisy, but I've lived near trains most of my life, so they weren't a problem, but I could see them being a huge issue for some people.

Jody was super nice! I enjoyed the white noise machine in the room and the bed was very comfortable.

It is a decent place and is close to the Petrified Forest and the Painted Desert. We liked that we could walk to an excellent steak house.
6.0 / 10.0
Staff was wonderfully accommodating but the train tracks were less than 100 yds. away and trains came through blowing their whistles every twenty minutes all night long.
2.0 / 10.0
A lock box checkin is unusual for a hotel, especially when no staff are present. It did not lead to a smooth process.

Kitschy? Heck yeah! And so very cute! Check in was a delight, kindest humans ever. We were surprised to discover we were so close to an active railway, but complimentary earplugs & kind caretakers convinced us to give it a go. So glad we did! The beds were comfy and I don’t remember ever being in a cleaner room. 5 ⭐️ people, 5 ⭐️clean. We slept fine & for the price, you can’t go wrong

I would give this place 5 ⭐️ for a motel. Obviously this is not an all inclusive five star resort but for a motel it’s in the top, as I’ve stayed at a variety of resorts/hotels/motels to provide a true honest rating. Customer service far exceeded my expectations from BEGINNING of my check in till the end. The property contacted me prior to ask what time I was checking in and my reservation change on hotels.com didn’t update properly to postpone a day and they were happy to change it. Easy communication with text message, and offering a call back number if necessary. Property kept clear and polite communication with me throughout my day and I was going to be checking in very late (after 2 A.M.). I was given instructions for a lock box my key would be in and a contact and number if I had any issues. Property vibe is unique and corkey, unlike any other property I passed by in the town of Holbrook. Came into a super comfortable and clean, original decorative room, with the heat turned on (it was cold outside), microwave and fridge, and a shower with great water pressure and temperature. Ended my night with a comfortable bed. Extra perks of this motel is that they have Netflix available as well as it’s super close to Petrified Forest 🪲🌳

Very clean great service

It had charm, but needed a bit more attention to secondary cleaning.

The motel itself looked okay. However, the surrounding area was extremely run down and did not feel safe - many obviously closed motels & other businesses. The office was closed at 5pm, so I could not check in. There was a note with a phone number, but nobody answered. I booked a room in the next town, Winslow, and left.

This hotel is from the 60's-70's era and not much has changed. First the bed was somewhat comfy, the pillows needed to be thrown away and replaced by new ones, they had an old odor to them. There was no dresser for clothes,a shelf or two and a few hooks would have worked, if there had been any. The towels were a bit stiff.I would not stay here again.

Place was great. Kitschy. Very Route 66 vibe. Cool spot, good food nearby. Bed was impressively comfortable. High end. My only complaint was the train. Thing was loud and close. But I slept through most of it.
If the train wasn't there blaring all night I'd give Brad's a 9/10 easily.
4.0 / 10.0
Turns out downtown Holbrook pretty run down and just
an unsafe feeling, especially with no staff on duty.
10.0 / 10.0
Skip the chains and stay local! So much better!!!
8.0 / 10.0
A great little property with a few things to work on to get to the next level - but a comfortable sleep in a clean room at a very reasonable price and with very helpful staff.
