Reception staff is very nice and helpful. I would say the staff in general is the highlight of the hotel. Food is good but you pay for everything, norhing is included. Property is very old.The price for the room is high compare to the quality of the hotel. Need full remodeling. Found cockroaches in our room. Few apartments have showers, and the rest have tubs which are very high to get into. Parking is difficult because is on the street for any hotel to use. AC sounds like in the 80's

Great views of Los Cristianos from the 5th floor! Lovely pool area and great variety of activities too. Enjoyed the yoga, foam party, underwater bikes and treadmill too!

We enjoyed our stay here - this is our second visit and we were in 2 rooms. This time our rooms were much smaller and basic though and we weren't aware we had booked differently. We used pool 3, and love lifeguard Victor who appears to love his job, very friendly and helpful beyond what he needs to be (whilst we were in the pool he moved our water bottles out the sun and into the shade for example). He made sure everyone had loungers where they wanted. A real asset to this hotel! The location is a bit far out but that's why its better value. We used taxis to get to main areas and walked the seafront. Chose no breakfast this time as previously found the restaurant good but crowded. The shop did warm pastries which we had on the balconies instead. We have and would stay here again.

Considering we had to move on the second day because of being infested with cockroaches (even in the bed). The balcony door wouldnt lock and the safe didnt work so had to take all our valuables around with us!! I will be officially complaining and requesting a refund

The facilities are great, the rooms are good and well equipped with comfortable beds and air conditioning, but the stand out thing is that all the staff are very helpful, very nice and very cheery - they work really hard to ensure you have a great stay. We loved our holiday here and would come again.

We booked a 1 bedroom apartment with sea views, and received keys for a 1 bedroom duplex with sea views. If we knew we were going to be walking up and down stairs for too go to bed we would not have booked it and consequently ended setting up the sofa bed downstairs for convenience because there was no availability for a 1 bedroom apartment, very disappointed about that. Otherwise the hotel was very good.

Stayed here last minute due to flight issues. The staff were so pleasant and the whole complex had a lovely warm atmosphere about it. Our apartment was a duplex apartment and had an amazing sea view and the balcony had a table and 2 chairs too. The kitchen was well equipped and had a cooler and an oven too. The whole place was spotlessly clean and we look forward to returning soon!

We really only used the room. The rest of the place looked very nice. It had a couple of nice pool areas and bars. We didn't eat at the hotel but meal times always looked busy. There are quite a few bars and restaurants close to the hotel which were nice and also a free shuttle bus into Los Christianos

A great resort. Good apartment and pool a lovely temperature. Evening entertainment unfortunately outside as bar area which used to be used in the evening is now only for dining. There wasn’t the same atmosphere as only a few folk opted to sit outside. The team tried hard but not the standard it’s been in the past.

We stayed at Hollywood mirage from 14th to the 19th of February, in a James Dean studio apartment, the hotel is big but really nice , our apartment was very well equipped, clean and really comfortable. Excellent location if you like a quiet chilled out holiday, if not you can walk down the hill for lots of bars with great entertainment. We would definitely recommend and return to this hotel

The hotel is pretty basic, but for the price seemed decent enough. The staff are lovely. The big issue was the bed. Very uncomfortable. If the sun lounger is more comfortable, it's not great. I'll swerve this place next time.

A few cockroaches found in the room. There are gaps under the door so a sill should be installed which would at least stop them from coming in from outside. Although the furniture is dated the room and balcony was large and comfortable

Check in very lazy and I’ll organised having arrived early and pre advised I’d be arriving early, said would get a call when room ready, 7 hrs later no call reception checking in others who had not been waiting as long. Poor location Appt on ground floor location with people looking in our windows. As a founding Hollywood Mirage timeshare owner, and visit resort at least once a year, we will seek alternative venues for additional nights bookings.

The pictures of the hotel rooms were probably taken years ago. The furniture is outdated, especially in the downstairs area of the apartments. Maintenance needs to be approved. However the experience as a whole is good, food was wonderful, wide choices available, very tasty, the pool areas are wonderful, employees are very friendly and helpful, prices are good, there is a grocery shop in the facility with good prices and wide variety of goods.

The hotel has a very nice view and pool is amazingly clean. It would have helped when checking in if the host explained a bit regarding pool times it seemed a bit rushed and didn’t really clarify regarding the shuttle bus times. The hotel is on a massive hill and therefore can be difficult to get to back and forth but understand this is for the views. Also should have been notified earlier regarding apartment having boiler therefore limited amount of warm water and that refilling can take over 2 hrs which can be inconvenient. Breakfast was really good plenty of options savoury and sweet, and each day options varied which prevented fatigue. Amazing view whilst having breakfast. Staff working at the breakfast service were lovely and attentive to guests, a big shout out to Camesse who made our experience at Hollywood mirage memorable as greeted us and engaged with us and other guests which is nice especially when you come on holiday.

Rooms are practical and well equipped but bathrooms need a make over. Not great if you don't like steep hills. Pools are good, main one has entertainment, but there are two other quieter ones. Supermarket is well stocked and fairly priced. I would come back as it's better than some I saw.

Good communication prior to arrival, a spacious pleasant room and nice views. The so-called 'cardiac-hill' is an easy walk up a few sets of stairs or via the road but nothing too demanding if you are reasonably fit.

The apartments are old and most need updating as they are showing their age. Some have been and quite good. We had the breakfast for a week. Although everything you could want was there with good quality - except - all the cooked food was always cold, bacon, eggs, sausage. Pity because it was inedible at those cold temperatures. The organised barbeque on the Wednesday seems a bit expensive at €27 but considering the range quality and quantity available I would recommend trying it, if a bit disorganised on arrival, on explanation of how the system worked. Overall an enjoyable stay , but the they really do have to keep the breakfast hot.

Overall a great stay, the bathrooms in the upgarded apartment we paid for looked old and tired, rest of the property fantastic. We also went for the bbq grill fiesta evening, the food wasnt great, hardly ate anything then left to find somewhere to eat. All the staff were very friendly and accomodating also in the shop across from the reception. Would come back but would probably only pay for a basic room and wouldnt eat there unless food was improved.

Arrived about lunch time after a long day travelling. Check In is 4pm. Paid an extra £30 per room to check in early. Disgusting considering it was sat there empty upon our arrival and the holiday was already paid for. Just thought this was pure greed and for that reason I would never stay again

Good views from the hotel, which sits higher above the rest of the city. A bit steep walk up to the hotel, be prepared or take a bus. Free shuttle to and from the city many times a day. Our apartment was big and with good views, and had a good kitchen. Two baths, both which really needed new shower-heads, and were not giving a good shower experience. Good bed and extra set of pillows. Tv was not functioning and had a dvd player supplied with a scart cable that the tv did not have an input for. The antenna plug in the wall was broke. The least appealing part of the stay was the breakfast. If you are not eating it all, you will find great difficulty knowing what you are eating as there are no labels as to what the food is or any allergens in it. Rather ridiculous actually, we had paid for the breakfast but ended not using it that much.

Great hotel. Staff are friendly and very helpful. From the moment we checked in, and offered advice about the initially allocated room not being as suitable due to our one year old, to the moment we checked out everyone was great. The lift could be a little hit and miss sometimes, but again when staff were close by they were happy to help. On site supermarket maybe be small but has all the essentials. The hotel is at the rear of the Los Cristianos therefore is at the top of some steep roads. We were all fine and managed with our pushchair however if your party is not reasonably fit or struggle with hills book a taxi or another hotel. If travelling as a family we'd look to stay at Hollywood Mirage again.
