Great stay! Very good communication with the property. The room was bright and clean with comfortable bed. Excellent location with all the attractions/restaurants within short walking distance. Yaiza was very hospitable and accommodating to our needs. She is an asset to Alessia’s Place. We will recommend to friends and family.

We loved our stay here and the area is very safe, even after dark. Shower didn’t drain well initially but we got help immediately after asking and problem was resolved. We were given thorough and excellent recommendations for any advice we asked for.

It was a great stay. The room was nice and the kitchen had a fridge and everything you needed. The host was amazing and so helpful and he replied very quickly to our messages.

Yaiza was so accommodating and kind. We appreciated being able to store our luggage. The room was beautiful, bright and clean. The location is great; close to train station, ferry, shopping, dining and beautiful Lake Como!

Excellent location and property. Very close to everything and yet our apartment was still quiet and relaxed. Rooms were comfortable and clean and really well appointed. Felt very welcoming.

Yazia was a great host. Our train from Milan was cancelled, which meant we were very late arriving and well outside of normal check in time. Nothing was too much trouble for Yazia who gave us a great welcome. The “hotel” was very nicely decorated and spotlessly clean, in a great location not far from the lake and with an abundance of restaurants on the door step. Would strongly recommend for a stop in Como June 2024

Charming shabby chic decor. Spacious room and good bathroom. Spotless. Comfy bed. Loved having the outdoor terrace. Really good location. Quiet but within a few mins walking distance to lots of restaurants, cafes, shops etc. Got a warm welcome from great "hostess". Gave helpful local advice & guidance which we appreciated. Would highly recommend.

We found our hostess (her name begins with a 'Y" but we can't remember ;) was extremely helpful! She was passionate about the area, gave us great tips, and made sure we had what we needed. The property was very clean, updated, comfortable, and had a 'romantic' feel - and we appreciated having a small kitchen space. There were very nice touches, such as tea bags made available to us. The property is convenient to everything! We arrived by train and walked everywhere in Como from here. We highly recommend this charming place and would definitely stay again!

The location of Alessia's Place was perfect. Everything was very walkable and there were plenty of restaurant options to choose from for suppers. Meeting with the property manager is a bit difficult, since we were driving and did not know the exact time that we would arrive. It would be easier if guests were provided with a code to enter the property. Parking was a bit difficult but that is not the fault of the property. With regards to the actual room, I would provide better and additional pillows. There should be 2 glasses provided. We would also suggest that a sheet of instructions for the TV be provided and there should be English options. We would stay there again and would recommend it to others.

Easy checkin, good communication to collect the keys and allowed us to leave our luggage on check out which was great as we had a late train. Well appointed, large apartment with lift. Great location, close to Como S Giovanni train station and easy access of the lake, restaurants and bars. Highly recommend and would definitely use again on my next trip to Como.

Absolutely beautiful place to stay! Alessia was amazing and so helpful!! She gave us some really good tips and local knowledge. We had a wonderful time. Como is a great area with a good variety of shops and restaurants and plenty to keep us entertained for a week. We did day trips to Varenna and Bellagio which were both absolutely gorgeous and definitely worth visiting, and a day trip to Milan which was great but unfortunately it was raining the day we went so we didn't get to see everything it had to offer. Alessia's Place is in a perfect location; 5-10 minutes walk from the train station and 5-10 minutes walk from the lake itself. I would thoroughly recommend staying here!

The room is quite pretty, with a modern bathroom, and a great location - minutes from the train station and a 1-minute walk to the main square. However, it lacks some amenities. There was a coffee machine, but no mini-fridge, no safe, and a bundle of heavy keys you had to carry with you, as it took multiple keys to get you in. There is no real staff, but someone that checked us in and then left. She pointed at the air conditioner and the wall module, but then failed to tell us where to find the remote to turn it on, which we didn't find until it was time to check out as it was in a drawer! One of the biggest drawbacks is that the window faced an alley that had extremely bright lights on overnight. We closed the shutters, but they were painted slightly open and basically the room was at the level of daylight all night long! Also, they refused to allow us to leave our bags, as most places do when you have an afternoon departure. When we pushed back, we agreed to be back by a certain time. 20 minutes ahead of time, we arrived back to find our luggage had been removed from the room by a different person! Turns out, he was the manager, and was watching the bags for us, as someone else had already checked in. He did ask us for honest feedback, and we gave him the above, and he was extremely nice, and didn't try to defend, and just said he hoped he would have the opportunity to do better. Before you book here, check to see if they've corrected the night shutters!

Extremely clean apartment with a luxury vibe. Big bathroom, towels of good quality and many of them. Comfortable bed with nice bed linen. Nespresso coffee machine with few capsules on site. No noise at all during the night. Very good communication with Yaiza who welcomed us.

Perfect location for exploring Como. Fredrico met us on arrival and was very welcoming. He provided us with lots of information to make the most of our time in Como. Safe. Would be a good property for solo female travellers.

My fiancé and I absolutely adored staying at Alessia’s Place. We stayed in the penthouse which was beautiful and clean, and the property was located a short walk from the train station and dining options. Yaiza was amazing to deal with and went above and beyond when helping me plan a surprise cake for my fiances birthday. Absolutely would stay here again!

We had a great experience staying at Alessia’s place! The room was very clean and organized with plenty of room and amenities. Best of all, Alessia took the time to give us our own personalized map, where she marked places we can go and how to get around Como. We would recommend taking the bus if you travel to Bellagio - it was a fraction of the price compared to the ferry, we didn’t have to wait in lines, and the view was even better than the ferry. This place was a great stay in a great location, and was also very affordable!

Property was walking distance from train station and close to the very social Piazza Volta, but the flat was still relatively quiet. Host was amazing, had great recommendations and sent links to everything! Flat was clean and bathroom was good sized, but shower was small as are most European showers. Would definitely stay here again!

This is a lovely place to stay, but be forewarned it is not a full service in. The location is excellent. Contrary to some reviews, parking was easy and close by. The staff was responsive when we made a request, but the place is not staffed regularly.
